The goal of this study is to make the government/users decide rationally with regards to the problems of the weapon systems management. Therefore it is necessary to develop how much precisely and through what methods the system should be cost. That costing policies should be determined under the considerations of the estimating expense and the expected benefit due to the applications of cost informations. After that, it must also be decided where the cost informations are used. We can suggest the cost results be used to find the most reasonable system among alternatives, the best producer, the most benevolent policy for user, and so on.
Fractional Bayes Factor를 이용한 베이지안 모형선택

이 논문에서는 신뢰수명자료에 대한 분석에 많이 가정되는 지수분포, 와이블분포, 로그정규분포에 대해 현재의 자료가 어느 분포에 가장 적합한지 베이지안 모형선택방법을 이용하여 선택하는 방법을 제안한다. 일반적으로, 모수에 대한 사전분포가 improper 분포인 경우, 베이즈 요인(Bayes factor)은 미지의 상수를 포함한다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여, 베이즈 요인을 계산하는 O'hagan(1995)에 의해 제안된 fractional Bayes factor를 이용하여 자료를 가장 적합시키는 모형을 찾는다. 실제의 자료를 통해 로그정규분포, 지수분포, 와이블모형중 어느 모형에 적합한지를 검정하는 예를 보인다. In this paper, a method for a bayesian model selection is studied for survival data. Among the exponential, Weibull, lognormal distribution, we decide the best model to fit the data. Using the real data, fractional Bayes factor and intrinsic Bayes factor are compared.
Analysis of Clustered Binominal Data Using Logistic-GLMMs

Correlated or heterogeneous response data which are usually clustered by trials, hospitals, families or subjects can be analyzed using random-effect models including generalized linear mixed models(GLMMs). In this paper we propose how to model the clustered meta-binominal data using logistic-GLMMs and to fit the models via SAS PROC NLMIXED. Here, the correlated random effects are allowed to model the variations in both the odds ratio and the treatment effect across trials, which can be at least two possible sources of inter-trial heterogeneity in outcomes. The proposed method is illustrated with a meta-analysis data set on 22 trials for respiratory tract infections. We also demonstrate that an appropriate model can be confirmed via model-selection criteria. From the final model we find that there is little difference in the treatment effects across trials and the treatment is shown to be effective, while there appears to be substantial variation in the log-odds ratio for infections across trials.

일반화된 지수생존모형(peneralized exponetial survival model)을 고려하여 이 모형의 모수를 추정하는 수정된 FS(modified Fisher scoring)방법을 제안한다. 이를 위해 우도방정식(likelihood equations)을 유도하고 초기추정치(initial estimate)를 포함한 추정알고리즘(estimating algorithm)을 개발한다. We consider generalized exponetial survival model and propose a modified Fisher scring method which estimates the model parameters. Also, the fitting algorithm including an initial estimate is developed.
First record for the genus Baeochila Drake and Poor, 1937 (Hemiptera: Tingidae) in South Korea

New distributional record from South Korea is presented for Baeochila scitula. Diagnosis and images are presented and a key to species of the genus is provided for distinguishing included taxa.

Tingidae (Hemiptera) of Korea are revised based on literature review as well as recently collected material and museum collections. A genus is recorded for the first time from South Korea for Acalpyta marginata. One species, Stephanitis typica, is removed from Korea. As a result, a total of 39 species in 17 genera, two subfamilies are recognized. An updated checklist including known distributions and host plant information in Korea is provided.
