效果的인 에너지 貯藏裝置인 Flywheel에 單位 體積當 貯藏되는 運動에너지를 最大로 하기 위하여, 應力과 設計變數에 대한 制限條件을 주고 最適設計의 方法을 Steepest Descent Method로 하여 複合材로 製作된 Multi-ringed Flywheel을 最適設計하였으며, 이를 遂行하는 Computational Algorithm을 提示하였다. 數値例로써 Glass/Epoxy 複合材를 선택하였다.

Political symbolism is symbolism that is used to represent a political standpoint. The symbolism can occur in various media including banners, acronyms, pictures, flags, mottos, and countless more. For example, red flags have traditionally been flown by socialists, left-wing radicals, and communist groups to represent the “blood of the workers.”groups use the political colour associated with their political philosophy, for example blue, particularly dark blue, is often associated with Conservative parties. Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, Soviet symbols disappeared. The plain red flag with a golden hammer and sickle and a good-bordered red star in its upper canton that once served as a symbol of the Soviet Union has been replaced with other Ukrainian symbols. A variety of new symbols have emerged. Some of them are related to Ukrainian history and there are symbols of capitalism which were previously non-existent in Ukraine. While blue and yello flag, the trident become nationals symbols of Ukraine historical and mythical figures, motherland, folkdress, and even items of pop-culture, such as movie poster, book cover, babies character are often used for symbols of parties and individual politicians. This study aims to discuss how and why these various symbols are selected, modified, created and used in contemporary Ukrainian politics. Providing and comparing various symbols in Ukrainian politics, this study shows that symbols are very important for the government, political party and even individual to express political standpoint on contemporary political and social issues. According to this study, Ukrainian government tries to discover new symbols in its history, and modified and used them to support its legitimacy, historical continuity and cultural superiority. What the Ukrainian government wishes to achieve eventually is to build a new national identity for Ukrainian people on one hand, and on the other hand, to be recognized for historical continuity and legitimacy of the country by presenting the symbols to the outside world. This study also presents various symbols that were used by Ukrainian parties during Orange revolutions and explain how they tried to explain selves and others. Finally, providing examples of Tymoshenko who have succeeded in Ukrainain politics, this study shows the dynamic process of the creation, modification and changes of symbols in Ukrainian politics and explain the significance of political symbolism for understanding contemporary Ukraine. In the nuclear power plant, emergency core coolant system (ECCS) is furnished at reactor coolant system (RCS) in order to cool down high temperature water in case of emergency. However, in this coolant system, thermal stratification phenomenon can occur due to coolant leaking in the check valve. The thermal stratification produces excessive thermal stresses at the pipe wall so as to yield thermal fatigue crack (TFC) accident. In the present study, effects of turbulence penetration on the thermal stratification into T-branches with square cross-section in the modeled ECCS are analysed numerically. $textsc{k}$-$\varepsilon$ model is employed to calculate the Reynolds stresses in momentum equations. Results show that the length and strength of thermal stratification are primarily affected by the leak flow rate of coolant and the Reynolds number of the main flow in the duct. Turbulence penetration into the T-branch of ECCS shows two counteracting effects on the thermal stratification. Heat transport by turbulence penetration from the main duct to leaking flow region may enhance thermal stratification while the turbulent diffusion may weaken it.

앵커의 형식에 따른 인발기구와 설계 프로그램 개발

앵커는 그 형식에 따라 힘을 받는 기구가 달라진다. 본 연구에서는 인장형과 압축형으로 분류되는 마찰형 앵커의 현장실험의 결과를 통해 저항특성 및 기구를 분석하였고, 또한 압축형 앵커의 내하체 압축시험결과를 이용하여 앵커 설계법을 제안하고, 이 설계법을 사용하여 앵커의 인발저항력을 계산하는 컴퓨터 프로그램을 개발하였다. 압축형과 인장형 앵커의 특성을 비교하여 요약하면 다음과 같다. (1) 압축형 앵커가 인장형 앵커보다 인발시 진행성의 영향이 적은 것으로 밝혀졌다. (2) 압축형 앵커는 인발시 그라우트의 포아송 효과로 인해 주면마찰저항이 증가한다. The resistance mechanism of anchor changes according to the types of anchor. Friction anchor is classified into tension and compression types. In this study, the characteristics and mechanism of pullout are analysed, and the design method of anchor and computer program for design are developed through compression test results of anchor body grout. The characteristics of compression anchor, compared with tension anchor, are summarized mainly as follows : (1) The effect of progressive failure of compression anchor body are much smaller than those of tension anchor during pullout of anchor; (2) The skin friction resistance is increased by possion effect of grout (anchor body) during pullout of compression anchor.

사질지반 NATM 터널의 강관보강 효과에 대한 모형실험

사질지반에서 얕은 터널 굴착시 지표면의 침하억제와 막장의 안정은 필수적이다. 이를 위해 적정한 보조공법을 사용하여 지반을 개량하여야 한다. 그러나 이러한 보조공법에 관한 메터니즘이 아직 명확하게 밝혀지지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는, 강관을 사용한 보조공법의 메커니즘을 연구하기 위해 모래로 지반을 조성하여 실험을 실시하엿다. 그 결과는 아래와 같다. 1) 주동상태는 건조모래(w=0.28%)에서는 ΔL/D≒0.0025일 때, 함수비 (w)=1.8% 에서는 ΔL/D≒0.005일 때 발생하였다. 여기서, D : 터널의 지름, ΔL : 막장의 후퇴변위 2) 모형지반의 함수비가 1.8%일 때는 보강재의 길이가 0.7D이상이면 충분한 지지력을 얻을 수 있다. 3) 막장전면에 작용하는 주동토압은 무라야마(村山)의 방법에 의한 이론값이 모형실험에서 구한 실측값보다 크게 나타났다. To excavate the shallow tunnel in sandy ground, it is essential to Keep stablity of face and to reduce the settlement of ground surface. For these purpose, we should improve the strength of the ground by using appropirate auxiliary method. But the effect and mechanism of the auxiliary method is not proved clearly yet. In this study, the model tests were preformed on the sandy ground to study the mechanism of auxiliary structure by steel pipe. Test results are as follows; 1) The active state occurred at ΔL/D≒0.0025 on dry sand and ΔL/D≒0.005 on wet sand (w=1.8%). where, D;diameter of tunnel, ΔL:backward displacement of tunnel face. 2) The enough bearing capacity was obtained. when the length of reinforcement is larger than 0.7D in the case of wet sand. 3) The active earth pressure on the face, the value by Murayama's method is larger than the measurement value by the model test.

토사터널 보조공법 중 마이크로파일공법의 적용성에 관한 기초적 연구

본 연구에서는 토사지반에 터널을 굴착할 경우 보조공법으로서 사용되는 마이크로파일의 적용성을 검토하기 위해 그 보강효과를 모형실험을 통하여 분석하였다. 특히, 보강방향, 보강형태, 보강범위의 영향에 연구의 초점을 맞추었다. 실험의 결과는 당므과 같다. ① 마이크로파일의 효과적인 설치방향은 dε₃방향이며, 이때의 설치각도는 수평과 60°각도를 이룬다. ② 마이크로 파일설치형태를 볼 때, 개방형보다는 폐쇄형이 더욱 효과적이다. In this study, the reinforcing effect of micro-pile for the soft ground tunnel is analysed by the laboratory model tests. Especially, the effects of diretions, types, and range of reinforcement are focused. The results of tests are as follows: ① The effective installation direction of micro-pile is dε₃ direction, and the most effective installation angle is 60 degree for the horizontal direction ② the closed type is more effective than the opened type of micro-pile installation.
