This study is concerned of the physical and mechanical properties of granite at Doon-Nae in Gang-Won. Uniaxial compressive strength, tensile strength, triaxial compressive strength, unit weight, absorption and shore hardness were measuerd. Elastic modulus and poission's ratio of rock were obtained by stress-strain curves through uniaxial compressive test and cohesion and friction angle were obtained by Mohr-Coulomb theory. Factor anlaysis was performed for the physical and mechanical properties and the correlation matrix was analysed for each factors. As a result of factor analysis, Multiple regression for the dependent factor was performed from the several independent factors.

The Samhwa iron ore deposit, which is of typical magnetite skarn type, is located in the Samhwadong area of Donghae city, Kangwon-do, Korea. Skarn minerals are mainly composed of garnet, clinopyroxene, vesuvianite, wollastonite and small amounts of epidote and quartz. The garnets are isotropic $(Ad_{92.82{\sim}98.37})$ or anisotropic andradite $(Ad_{45.30{\sim}75.85})$ and grossular $(Gr_{86.26{\sim}24.47})$, the clinopyroxenes are ferrosalite and salite, Homogenization temperature of gas rich two phase inclusions in garnet are $368{\sim}593^{\circ}C$, and salnities of polyphase inclusions in garnet have 33.9~68.4 equ. NaCl wt. %. Garnet grain often shows composional variation from its core to rim. In other words, Fe and Al contents in garnet vary inversely, which suggest that the variation depends upon $f_{o2}$ during skarn formation.
파노라마방사선사진과 다면상재구성 CT상의 치조골 높이 계측에 대한 비교 연구

Purpose : To compare alveolar bony height of pantomograph with bony height of thin slice, multiplanar reformatted (MPR) Computed Tomograph. Materials and Methods : Panoramic radiograms of 12 young adult patients had been taken by one radologic technitian and the measurements were corrected by magnification ratio (1.20). The slice thickness of Multi-detector Computed Tomography (CT) was at least 1mm for the accuracy. The raw CT datas were imported into the V-works 4.0 (CyberMed Corp., Seoul, Korea) and transformed to MPR images. Pantomographic measurements of alveolar bone were compared to CT values by average mean bony height measurements for the accuracy. Inter-, and Intraobserver variability was evaluated. Results : There was no significant differences between height measurement of pantomography and that of CT (P>0.05). There were no significant differences in either inter- or intra-observer measurements (P>0.05). Conclusion : Pantomography showed relatively high accuracy and precision in measuring alveolar bony height.
