곡선의 다각형 근사화 방법은 화상분석 또는 데이타 압축등에 많이 사용된다. 다각형 근사화 방법으로, 적은 break point수를 갖고, Sequential Process로 결과를 얻을 수 있는 Cone intersection 방법이 있다. 여기서는 화소간의 거리가 일정한 디지탈 곡선의 경우, 종래의 cone intersection 방법을 정수계산을 이용하여 속도를 향상시키는 방법을 제안한다. Polygonal approximation of digital curves is useful for the image analysis or data compression. There are methods of polygonal approximation using cone intersection using cone intersection which have relatively smaller number of break points and are executed in sequential process. Here a method of polygonal approximation is proposed, which is modified from Sklansky and Gonzales' method, and improves the speed by using integer operations.

Body fluid and electrolyte loss increase during prolonged endurance exercise and the sweating rate largely depends on environmental temperature, humidity and physical activity. For every liter of fluid lost, core temperature rises 0.3℃, cardiac output declines 1L/min, and heart rate rises 8bpm. Since it has been known that dehydration state by severe sweating cause heat stroke, fluid supplement is emphasized. The optimal amount of fluid depends on exercise intensity, time, environmental condition, and individual physical condition. The increase of sodium intake facilitate glucose uptake on small intestine. The large amount of hypotonic fluid intake or none intake of water during prolonged endurance exercise could lead hyponatremia. But, it has been known that sodium depletion is happned only triathlon or ultra marathon which has longer distance and time than marathon. The types of carbohydrate fluid are used as energy source. As under 20g of carbohydrate is oxidized in the first hour of exercise, thus 3∼5g/100mL of carbohydrate intake every 10minute could maintained 1g/min of carbohydrate oxidation rate. Sports drink such as carbohydrate-electrolyte combined drink is known to prevent hyperthermia and to increase endurance exercise performance. As discribed above, we thought that fluid supplement and nutrient during prolonged exercise is essential and, further research will be need to enhance exercise performance.

Caffeine has been used as an ergogenic aid to most of endurance athletes. As this point of view, we hypothesized that caffeine and training exercise could affect the glycogen contents in skeletal muscle and serum energy substrates in rats. Forty-eight male sprague-dawley rats had taken treadmill exercise at 28m/min/30min for 5days of week during 4wks. At the experimental day, all rats, except sedentary group(sed, n=12), were ingested 50㎎/㎏ of caffeine using round-ended needle directly into the mouth. They were killed at pre(pre-exercise group), 1hr(1hour exercise group), and 2hr(2hours exercise group) exercise and were followed by sed rats. Serum glucose, TG, FFA, and glycerol concentrations were analyzed and liver, soleus, gastrocnemius white muscle glycogen contents were determined. Serum FFA and glycerol were increased but glucose was decreased following exercise. Liver and muscle glycogen were not changed. In conclusion, even though serum FFA and glycerol increased, glycogen-sparing effect was not occurred. And, we thought that further research and discuss will be needed.
현미 식초섭취가 중강도 운동 중 에너지대사에 미치는 영향

Vinegar beverages as healthy food are being preferred with increased interests on health. However, exercise nutritional researches related to vinegar have been rarely conducted. Therefore, we inves tigated the effect of Brown-rice vinegar (BRV) ingestion on energy utilization during moderate intensity exercise in healthy adolescents. Subjects (n=7) have drink BRV solution before 30 min of exe rcise then, they were exercise on the treadmill with their 60% VO2max for 1 h. Then exercise intensity was increased to the 80% VO2max until exhaustion. Breathing gas, respiratory exchange ratio (R ER), fat oxidation, carbohydrate oxidation, and energy utilization ratio were measured every 5 min of exercise at the former stage of exercise. Ratings of perceived exertion (RPE), Oxygen saturatio n (SpO2), Heart rate (HR), blood pH, glucose, lactate, and free fatty acids (FFA) was analyzed every 15 min of the same stage. BRV lowered RER and suppressed carbohydrate oxidation and significantl y enhanced fat utilization during the former stage of exercise. Blood pH and lactate were significantly decreased in BRV and FFA was increased significantly at the 15 min and 30 min of exercise. In addition, exercise time to exhaustion was significantly increased in BRV. These results suggested that BRV ingestion before moderate intensity exercise enhanced fat utilization. Therefore, it might be use as the nutritional supplement with the prolonged high intensity endurance exercise.

The analysis of logic diagram is a useful method to get the causes of a logical state when trip or mormal operation of nuclear power plant. But. hundreds of the complicated logic diagrams make prerators hard to identify the state of logics. The display of the logic diagrams and diagnosis of the logical state in real-time can be useful for solving the provlems. The logic tracking system to be proposed displays logic diagrams of muclear power plant. diagnoses a logic state and provides users with a editor to vuild logic diagrams easily. The function of this systim was tested with a test simulator for korea muclear power plant unit 5 and 6. it is assumed that the systim is helpful to operators who should identify the logical state of nuclear power plant and to logic designers who should verify and validate the designed logics.
