Three Step Iterative Algorithms for Generalized Quasivariational Inclusions
Vol.41 No.1
In this paper, we suggest and analyze some new classesof three step iterative algorithms for solving generalizedquasivariational inclusions by using the properties of proximalmaps. Our results include the Ishikawa, Mann iterations forsolving variational inclusions(inequalities) as special cases. Theresults obtained in this paper represent an improvement andsignificant refinement of previously known results [3, 5-8, 10,14-18].
Optimal control problems for the semilinear second order evolution equations
Vol.40 No.5
In this paper, we study the optimal control for the dampedsemilinear hyperbolic systems with unknown parameters(C(t)y')'+A_2(t,q)y'+A_1(t,q)y=f(t,q,y,u).We will prove the existence of weak solution of this system andis to find the optimal control pair (bar{q},bar{u})inQ_{tau}times {mathcal U}_{ad} such that inf_{uin {mathcalU}_{ad}}sup_{qin Q_{tau}}J(q,u)=J(bar{q},bar{u}).
Vol.7 No.-
This investigation was carried out by thermal neutron activation analysis to determine the arsenic and antimony contents of hot spring waters at Izu peninsula in Japan. Samples were collected from the 15th of Februray to the 21st of Februray, 1970. The thermal neutron activation analysis was carried out from the 22nd of August to the 28th of September, 1970 at the Korean Atomic Energy Research Institute. The sample were irradiated by neutrons having a flux 3×10?? n/㎠.sec for 2 days. 0.003-1.18 mg/l of arsenic and 0.001│0.163 mg/l of antimony were found in the hot spring waters. The mean content of antimony in the hot spring waters of Izu Peninsula in Japan is calculated as 0.038 mg/l. That of arsenic in those is also calculated as 0.166 mg/l, whereas that of the hot spring waters in Japan as 0.3 mg/l (for 190 samples), that of Beppu hot spring waters as 0.2 mg/l, and that of Ito and Atami hot spring waters as 0.27 mg/l. It seems to indicate that arsenic and antimony exist in those as a form of AsO₄''' AsO₃''', SbO₄''' and SbO₃''' since contents of arsenic and antimony in those increase proportion to the strength of their pH value and their sodium content. The arsenic and antimony contents in those also increase proportionally to their sulfate ion content. It is, therefore, found that sulfate ion is dissolved from granite rock in the area of Izu peninsula in Japan with arsenic and antimony.
Vol.14 No.-
In order to investigate the optimum sowing date and seed yielding capacity of some valuable ground vegetation for the benifits of the establishment of seed farm, 12 different sowing dates with 10-15 days of intervals from beginning March 30 to October 18 were projected and seed yield capacities in each sowing date were examined. The results are summarized as follows. 1. The limited sowing date for both A. hilta and L. cuneata was estimated the date before May 30, for the seed production, while D. glamarata produced no seeds with in the trial year. 2. Highly significances of seed yield of A. hilta and L. cuneata were found between the different sowing dates and the maximum seed yield in the plot of the recording 72.9g, 87.4g for A. hirta and for L. cuneata. 3. Vegetative growth was inhibited when sowed later then July 1 for grasses except L. cuneata.
