Photocatalytic characteristics of nano-sized TiO₂ powder with rutile phase produced using homogeneous precipitation process at low temperatures (HPPLT) were compared with those of commercial P-25 powder by Degussa Co. The TiO₂ powder by HPPLT showed very higher photoactivity in the removal rate, showing lower pH values in the solution, than the P-25 powder when eliminating metal ions such as Pb and Cu from aqueous metal-EDTA solutions. This can be inferred the more rapid photo-oxidation or -reduction of metal ions from the aqueous solution, together with relatively higher efficiencies in the uses of electron and hole formed on the surface of TiO₂ particle, under UV light irradiation. Also, in the view of the TiO₂ particle morphology, compared to the well-dispersed spherical P-25 particle, the agglomerated TiO₂ particle by HPPLT consists of acicular typed primary particle with the thickness ranged of 3∼7 ㎚, which would be more effective to the photocatalytic reactions without electron-hole recombination on the surface of the TiO₂ particle under the UV light irradiation. It is, therefore, thought that the higher photoactivity of the rutile TiO₂ powder by HPPLT in the aqueous solutions resulted from having its higher specific surface area as well as acicular shape primary particle with very thin thickness.
단결정 $YBa_2Cu_3O_{7-y}$ 벌크 초전도체 제조를 위한 경제적 공정의 개발

To reduce the processing cost of the single grain REBCO (RE: Rare-earth elements) bulk superconductors, a cost-effective process should be developed. One possible way of developing the cost-effective process is the use of low-cost precursor powders. In this study, the single grain YBCO superconductors were fabricated using a home made powder. $YBa_2Cu_3O_{7-y}$ (Y123) powders were synthesized at $850-900^{\circ}C$ in air by the powder calcination method with repeated crushing and heat treatment steps. The processing parameters for the fabrication of single grain Y123 bulk superconductors, $T_{max}$ (maximum temperature), $T_p$ (peritectic temperature) and a cooling rate through $T_p$ were optimized. To enhance the flux pinning capacity of the single grain Y123 samples, $Y_2BaCuO_5$ (Y211) particles were dispersed in the Y123 matrix by adding $Y_2O_3$ powder to the calcined Y123 powder. Applying the optimized processing condition, the single grain Y123 superconductors with $T_c=91\;K$ and $J_c=1.5{\times}10^4\;A/cm^2$ at 2 T were successfully fabricated using a home made powder. The levitation forces and trapped magnetic field at 77 K measured using a Nd-B-Fe permanent magnet of 5300 G were 47 N and 3000 G, respectively, which are comparable to those obtained for the samples fabricated using a commercial grade Y123 powders.

The best advantages of UNIX are the portability and the compatibility between machines, because UNIX has opened its structure. As UNIX has been porting on different kinds of machines and developed by many makers so its compatibility faces up to the troubles. "Portability Guide" for UNIX standardization is suggested by POSIX(Portable Operation System Interface) and X/Open. Therefore it is necessary that UNIX Interface for Processing Hangul is standardized. This paper deals with Hangul interface design in UNIX environment. Main idea of the design consists of Hangul I/O module and user's environment acccording to the international standardization principles. In Hangul I/O module, Hangul module and the algorithm of Hangul terminal driver are suggested using STREAMS I/O subsystem. User's environment is divided into message, locale and Hangul I/O.

We perform density functional theory calculations to investigate adhesion of Fe(001)/Al(001) interface. The simulation results show that the bonding strength of interface is strongly dependent on the stack sequence. In particular, bcc-type of Fe(001)/Al(001) interface exhibits the highest work of separation around 4.01 J/m², which is higher than that of pure Al(001).

처방전 인증 시스템의 필요성은 오래 전부터 제기되어 왔다. 기 제안된 처방전인증 시스템은 인증 서버를 구축하여 인증에 필요한 데이터를 저장하는 방식으로, 의사의 업무 프라이버시 보호에 대한 문제를 고려하지 않아서 현실적인 적용이 불가능 하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방법은 2차원 바코드와 공인인증서를 이용하여 오프라인 상태에서 처방전을 발급하는 방법으로, 기존 인증 시스템의 문제에 대한 해결 방법을 제시하였다.

프로그램 상에서 발생되는 이명(alias) 관계의 변수들끼리는 서로 명시적이거나 또는 묵시적으로 변수를 참조하거나 값을 변화시키는 효과를 발생시킬 수 있다. 이는 원식 프로그램을 읽기 어렵게 만들 뿐만아니라 컴파일 단계에서 자료흐름 분석과정과 최적화 과정을 매우 어렵게 만드는 요소중 하나이다. 본 연구에서는 이명 관계가 발생되는 유형과 각각의 실행 효과와 각 문장들을 기본 블럭으로 묶었을 때에 실행 효과, 그리고 함수 별로 묶었을 때에 전체적인 실행효과를 계산한다. 그리고 흐름그래프와 호출그래프 각각을 변형시킨 변형된 그래프를 도입하여 전체적인 이명 처리 분석기의 속도를 증진시켰다. 이명 정보를 생성하는 과정에서 변수의 묵시적인 변화를 감소시키고, 불필요한 코드 삭제를 수행하여서 부수적으로 대상 프로그램을 개선하는 효과도 얻었다.
