In this paper, strain-based damage assessment based on elastic-plastic FE analysis was carried out for the piping system test under seismic loads conducted at Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC, India) to suggest relevant damage evlaution method and cyclic hardening model. For the damage evaluation method, the cumulative plastic damage and cumulative fatigue damage assessment methods, suggested in ASME B&PV Sec. VIII and Sec. III, respectively, were considered. For the FE analysis, hybrid models consisting of the beam and solid elements were used, validated by comparing with the results using full solid models. To simulate the cyclic hardening behavior of the material, the bi-linear kinematic hardening model suggested in the JSME Code case and the Chaboche kinematic hardening model were considered. By comparing with test results, it is shown that predicted failure cycles are about 33~53 % of the test result, and the use of the cumulative plastic damage method is found to be more conservative than the cumulative fatigue damage method. The effect of the hardening model on evaluation results is found to be not so significant.

This study was performed to investigate the effect of compound 48/80 on mast cells of the rat fetus. After intraperitioneal injection of compound 48/80 into pregnant rat on the 19th Day of pregnancy, the morphological changes of fetal mast cells were observed in fetal mesentery, diaphragm, and placenta. Results were as followings : 1. Degranulation rates of fetal mesenteric, diaphragmatic, and placental mast cells were significantly increased in compound 48/80 treated group than those of the control group. 2. The degranulation responses of fetal mesenteric and diaphragmatic mast cells to compound 48/80 were dose-dependent. From the above results, it was suggested that compound 48/80 affected to the fetal mast cells by passing through the placental barrier. (Key words : Fetal mast cell, Compound 48/80)

본 논문에서 제안한 앱을 구현하기 위하여 Eclipse 개발 툴과 Java 언어 및 Android SDK 4.2.2를 사용하여, 로딩화면과 메인 탭 4개로 구성하였다. 로딩화면은 스플래쉬 기능을 이용하여 설계하였으며, 각 탭의 구성으로는 1번째 탭은 날씨, 버스, 명소, 여행일정 버튼 4개로 구성되어 있고, 2번째 탭에는 DB를 이용한 버스의 노선도 및 실시간 현황과 3번째 탭은 행사일정에 대한 탭, 4번째 탭에는 1번째 탭의 여행일정 이미지를 저장하는 기능을 Eclipse로 구현한다. In this paper, we used the Eclipse development tools and Java language and Android SDK 4.2.2 to realize application. It is made up the loading screen and the four main tab. Loading screens were designed using the splash function. In the setting of each tab, the first sheet of the tab is composed of weather, bus, tourist attractions, and four travel schedule button. The second tab is provided with a current route map or real-time bus using DB and the third tab is provided with the events of the Schedule tab. In the fourth tab, the function to store the travel schedule of first tab is implemented with Eclipse.
다양한 평가방법을 이용한 원형 노치 CT 시편의 피로수명평가

In the present work, the fatigue life of a round-notched compact tension (CT) specimen has been evaluated using two different fatigue life evaluation methods. One is Design-By-Analysis (DBA) procedure given in ASME B&PV Code, Sec. III and the other is structural stress based approach provided in ASME B&PV Code, Sec. VIII. The fatigue crack initiation tests were conducted using a round-notched CT specimen, which is made of SA312 TP316 stainless steel, under displacement-controlled cyclic condition, and then experimental fatigue initiation life of that specimen was measured. To predict fatigue life of this CT specimen using DBA based approach, 3-D elastic FE analyses were carried out using experimental condition, and fatigue life was predicted based on both design and best-fit fatigue curve of same material suggested in ASME B&PV Code, Sec. II. Moreover, the fatigue life of CT specimen was also investigated using the structural stress based approach. Finally, the fatigue lives predicted either based on DBA procedure or structural stress based approach were compared with experimental results, and the accuracy of such engineering fatigue life evaluation methods was discussed.
다양한 유형의 공간객체를 위한 R<SUP>m</SUP>-tree 기반의 mkNN 질의처리기법

본 논문에서는 다양한 유형의 위치기반 데이터들을 하나의 R-트리로 통합한 Rm-트리구조와 이 Rm-트리를 이용하여 질의포인트로부터 각 유형별로 k개의 가까운 위치기반 데이터를 찾는 mkNN(multi-type k Nearest Neighbor) 질의처리기법을 제안하였다. 특히, 다양한 유형의 위치기반 데이터들을 각 유형별로 독립된 R-트리로 유지하지 않고, 하나의 Rm-트리로 통합하여 관리함으로써 mkNN 질의처리시 같은 레벨의 공간의 반복탐색을 줄일 수 있도록 하였다. 그리고 각 유형에 대한 위치데이터를 관리하는 부가적인 유형정보 자료구조로서 위치데이터들을 포함하는 지역정보를 담은 TMBR(Type Minimum Bounding Rectangle), 데이터 개수정보를 담은 l-entry를 새로이 고안하여 mkNN 질의처리시 효율적인 휠터링(filtering)과 검색과정이 이루어지도록 하였다. In this paper, we propose an Rm-tree that integrates with location data of various types. We also propose an efficient mkNN query processing technique based on the Rm-tree that computes to find k nearest neighbors with m types for a given query point p. Especially, our proposed mkNN query processing method is able to reduce the repetitive traversal of the search space to compute multi-type k nearest neighbors. We add TMBR(Type Minimum Bounding Rectangle) and l-entry to Rm-tree to have the efficient filtering and searching performance for the processing of mkNN query.
