Weighted Constrained One-Bit Transform Method for Low-Complexity Block Motion Estimation

This letter proposes a new low-complexity motion estimation method. The proposed method classifies various nonmatching pixel pairs into several categories and assigns an appropriate weight for each category in the matching stage. As a result, it can significantly improve performance compared to that of the conventional methods by adding only one 1-bit addition and two Boolean operations per pixel.

Two separate studies were conducted to establish bioequivalence (BE) for two doses of atorvastatin/metformin sustained-release (SR) fixed dose combination (FDC) versus the same dosage of theindividual component (IC) tablets in healthy male subjects under fed conditions (study 1, BE ofatorvastatin/metformin SR 20/500 mg FDC; study 2, BE of atorvastatin/metformin SR 20/750 mgFDC). Each study was a randomized, open-label, single oral dose, two-way crossover design. Serialblood samples were collected pre-dose and up to 36 hours post-dose for atorvastatin and 24 hoursfor metformin. Plasma concentrations of atorvastatin, 2-OH atorvastatin and metformin were analyzedusing a validated liquid chromatography tandem mass-spectrometry. A non-compartmentalanalysis was used to calculate pharmacokinetic (PK) variables and analysis of variance was performedon the lognormal-transformed PK variables. A total of 75 subjects completed the study 1(36 subjects) and study 2 (39 subjects). The 90% confidence intervals for the adjusted geometricmean ratio of Cmax and the AUC0-t were within the predefined 0.80 to 1.25 range. The number ofsubjects reporting at least one adverse event following FDC treatments was comparable to that followingIC treatments. The two treatments were well tolerated. Therefore, atorvastatin/metforminSR 20/500 mg and 20/750 mg FDC tablets are expected to be used as alternatives to IC tablets todecrease the pill burden and increase patient compliance.

This study is to investigate time-periodic characteristics and contents of popular music in Gwang-ju area since 1970s so that it can help vitalize popular music in Gwang-ju area. The popular music in Gwang-ju has been developed a little different from those in Seoul or in other areas. The popular music culture in Gwang-ju has started in 1970s, when pop musicians could disseminate their songs or musics by singing or being a DJ in various cafes or beer halls. In the 1980s, pop musicians have sung their popular or protest songs after the huge political incident of '5·18 Up-Rising' has occurred. In the 1990s, there was a need for musicians to produce their own recordings. In the 2000s, the acoustic guitar-based music has been weakened, replaced by using electronic accompaniment equipments, and the crossover music became prevalent when the classical musician, Korean traditional musician, and pop musicians have worked together in many ways. At present, there are limited opportunities for young musicians to work and to be trained in Gwang-ju. Therefore, it is desperately needed to develop and support local musical institutions so that local young musicians can be educated and trained properly.
예비유아교사의 음악극 공연 경험이 자기주도적 학습능력과 자기효능감에 미치는 효과

본 연구는 예비유아교사의 음악극 공연 경험이 자기주도적 학습능력과 자기효능감에 어떤 효과가 있는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 대상은 D대학 유아교육학과 2, 3학년학생이며, 음악극 공연 경험이 있는 집단을 실험집단으로, 경험이 없는 집단을 비교집단으로 구성하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 음악극 공연을 경험한 예비유아교사의 자기주도적 학습능력은 음악극 공연을 경험하지 않은 비교집단에 비해 통계적으로 유의미한 향상을 보였으며,하위영역 중 학습에의 솔선수범 및 독립성, 자신의 학습에 대한 책임감, 학습에 대한 애정과 열성, 효율적인 학습자라는 자아개념, 기초학습 기술과 문제해결 기술의 사용 능력에서두 집단 간에 유의미한 차이를 나타낸 반면, 미래지향성, 학습기회에 대한 개방성, 창의성에서는 유의미한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 둘째, 음악극 공연을 경험한 예비유아교사의 자기효능감은 음악극 공연을 경험하지 않은 비교집단에 비해 통계적으로 유의미한 향상을 보였으며, 하위영역 중 자신감과 자기조절 효능감에서 두 집단 간 유의미한 차이를 나타낸 반면, 과제난이도 선호에서는 유의미한 차이를 나타내지 않았다.
