Linear elastic fracture mechanics(LEFM) theory provides a rational method to predict ultimate load of wood that contain several defects such as knots, notches, splits, etc. Among 3-basic mode of fracture, the opening mode (mode Ⅰ) of fracture of Red pine, Korean pine, Japanese larch and Radiata pine in LT and LR-plane was applied. Critical stress intensity factors(K_(Ic)) were found to be 424.6(Red pine), 386.6(Korean pine), 452.3(.Iapanese larch), 383.6(Radiata pine) for LT-plane and 479.0(Red pine), 395.0(Korean pine), 463.2(Japanese larch), 399.4(Radiata pine)kg/cm^(3/2) for LR-plane, respectively. K_(Ic) of tested lumbers was influnced by specific gravity and modulus of rupture. Through a testing, it was concluded that this approach lead to establishment of a material parameter, termed the "Stress Intensity Factor" or K_(Ic), which was able to be applied to wood structure design specifications.

The town of Punggi, the best place of $quot;Ten shelters$quot; on Chung Gam-lok, has been well known as good refuge. Therefore thousands of Chung Gam-Iok adherents and refugees moved from all over the country during periods of social chaos, the end of the Yi dynasty and under Japanese rule. Also after the Korean War, many northern refugees came from Pyung An Province and Whanghae Province and built up the Chung Gam-lok village. The Population problem was very serious in there, so residents solved this problem by means of diversified farming, cultivation of special crops such as Ginseng, medicinal herbs, and fruit trees (apple), which are similar to the agricultural crops of the Kwan Su district in North Korea. They also embarked on the industry of making artificial silk. The majority of the immigrants were from the northern part of the Korean Peninsula. Fruit trees and artificial silk were transplanted to the Punggi area by the people of Pyung An Province, and Ginseng and medicinal herbs came with the people of Hwanghae Province. The standard of living in this town has been better than that of any other village. Women out numberd men which clarifies why the 70 factories of the artificial silk industry are a female industry. At the beginning, there was much friction and complication between atives and immigrants, but not nowadays. The people of this town were diligent and had a very economical style of living. We have found a lot of egoism and individualism believed to be affected by Chung Gam-lok. Chung Gam-lok devotees are classified into two parts, ordinary devotees and positive devotees. The former are viewed as more radical, and mainly live at Kumke Dong or downtown Punggi, enjoying rich lives with Ginseng or fruit farming and the artificial silk industry. The latter are poor but extreme devotees, who are looking forward to seeing their God, Mr. Chung, and a new world. They are engaged in dry field farming or fire field farming around Samka Dong or among the SoBaek mountains. The artificial silk industry (60%), Ginseng & medicinal herbs (30%), and fruit trees and other incomes (10%) contributed to the economical growth of this place. The possibility of export commands the artificial silk industry while the Ginseng & other medicinal herbs cultivation will probably decline. It is guessed that Chung Gam-lok will disappear 10 or 20 years from now on, probably because its devotees are chiefly of old ages and their children often tend to despise it as a kind of superstitous belief. Nevertheless it is noteworthy that Chung Gam-lok villages are a successful example of the economic development of folklore religious communities.

본 논문에서는 X 밴드 주파수에서 단얼 마이크로스트립 선로 급전방식을 갖는 원형 편파 개구면-패치 안테나(aperture-patch antenna) 및 환 구조 안테나(ring antenna)를 설계, 제작하여 특성을 측정하였다. 개구면-패치 안테나는 동작 대역폭이 매우 넓으며, 환 구조 안테나는 크기가 작아서 대형 배열안테나의 기본 복사소자로 적합하다. 이 두 종류의 안테나에 대하여 VSWR 대역폭과 원형편파 축비(axial ratio)를 개선하기 위한 여러 가지 설계 파라미터의 영향을 분석하였다. 개구면과 환 복사소자는 공진기 모델(cavity mode!)에 근거하여 초기 설계를 하였으며. 원형편파를 발생시키기 위한 개구면 내부의 패치와 환 내부의 스터브(stub) 는 Ensemble 소프트웨어를 사용하여 최적화 하였다. 제작된 안테나는 개구면-패치 안테나의 경우 25 %의 V VSWR 대역폭(3dB 기준)과 1.2 dB의 최소 축비를 가지며, 환 구조 안테나에서는 6.7 %의 VSWR 대역폭과 1.6 dB의 최소 축비를 가진다. In this paper, a microstrip aperture-patch antenna and a microstrip ring antenna, which have single microstrip line feeding systems for the circular polarization, are designed, and experimental results are presented at X-band. The microstrip aperture-patch antenna is characterized by its wide operating frequency range, and the microstrip ring antenna is suitable for a basic radiator in the large array antenna due to its small size. Several design parameters for these antennas are considered and analyzed to improve antenna characteristics such as VSWR bandwidth and axial ratio. Initially, the sizes of the aperture and ring radiator are determined on a basis of the cavity model, then shapes of the patch within the aperture and the inner stub of the ring are optimized using Ensemble software. Measurement results show that the aperture-patch antenna has 25% of VSWR bandwidth and 1.2dB of axial ratio at the boresight, and the ring antenna has 6.7% of VSWR bandwidth and 1.6dB of axial ratio at the boresight.
