      • 복합구조물의 형상 최적화 기법의 개발

        Auto industry is trying to develop various feasible methods to reduce the weight of car for confronting with the high price of gas. In this paper, weight reduction procedure is tried for car seat mechanism within a given stress and deformation level. At first, lower part of car seat mechanism is modelled using three-dimensional CAD software, Pro/ENGINEER. Weight of each part is calculated using model analysis function. After establishing finite element models for selected to main parts and whole seat mechanism, analysis is carried out under standard load and boundary conditions. Weight optimization is accomplished by reducing the thickness of the part plate and removing the lower stress area of the part. Finite element analysis for reduced weight part model is done to check the stress and deformation change. The amount of stress and deformation change for reduced weight model is acceptable at both parts and whole seat mechanism.The result of the research may give one possibility of weight reduction procedure for complicated whole seat. More precise optimized model can be found using theoretical and more developed optimization method in the future.

      • 모델개선법을 이용한 보의 진동해석

        A vibration analysis is carried out for cantilever using model updating. An analytical method is utilized to get exact natural frequencies and modes as reference data instead of experimental data.The finite element method is used for finding mass and stiffness matrix with Hermite cubic shape function. Two kinds of element mass matrices are considered : 1) consistent mass matrix 2) lumped mass matrix. With assembled global mass and stiffness matrix, inverse iteration method is used for frequency and mode calculation. The result of calculation is compared with that of analytical solution from the view point of frequency and normalized mode shape. The result by consistent mass matrix is much closer to the result of exact solution than that by lumped mass matrix. The model updating method using experimental data may be carried out for various mechanical properties in the future.

      • 모드해석 데이터를 이용한 파라미터 개선법

        Model parameter updating procedure using a structural model is based on the discrepancies between analytical and experimental results. In this paper, several beam models are utilized to detect modal frequency differences and errors in physical parameters, Young's modulus and mass density, are calculated using the differences. Impact test is carried out for simple beam and beams with 1, 3, 7 holes to obtain natural frequencies and mode shapes. Updated parameters are compared with those of analytical model to check the effect of the holes. The results show that the beam with holes become weak because of the effect of the holes. The results of this research can be used to calculate the updated mass and stiffness matrices to update modal data.

        It will have a practical as well as a theoretical value to analize the variables which contribute to the scnolastic achievement. As intelligence tests are usually validated by comparison with achievement, it can be assumed that intelligence is the only accountable variable in scholastic achievement. The human adjusting processes in any interindividual relationship, however, do not solely depend intellectual behavior, and numerous personality factors other than intelligence such as emotionality, mativation, etc. would take part in the human activity. Therefore, the current educational evaluative processes carried cut in the junior high schools, nowadays, have to be explained in terms of various personality factors as well as intelligence. This study is designed to explore the significance of personality factors in predicting school marks and detect the variables which are present in scholastic evaluation in the junior high school. The subjects were 240 (1st grabe 120, 2nd grade 120) at Hyo-Sung Girls' High School in Daegu. Their ages ranged from 16 to 17. The testa used were as follows: The intelligence diagnostic diagnostic test (Form 121-가) standardized by Prof Sang Loh, Lee, and personality diagnostic test (Form 571) made by Prof. Sang Loh, Lee, Chang Jin, Byun, wee Kyo, Chin The personality diagnostic test contains mine factors in descriptive scales: Emotional stability, Dominance, Sociability, Responsibility, Reflectiveness, Conformity, Masculinity, Impulsiveness, Superiority. And also it contains five personality factors in clinical scales: Depression, Anxiety, Paranoid tendency, Autism, Nervousness. The tests were administered in Sep. 10-0 ct. 20, 1975 in groups. IN order to get the criteria of scholastic achievement, the gross mean of the girl's school achievement in the 1st semester of 1975 achievement, test scores for such group were statistically analyzed in terms of correlation method and CR test techniques respectively. On the basis of the findings and discussion based on the research, it could be concluded that : 1. Intelligence affects scholastic achievement. 2. Of the personality factors, dominainance, responsibility. reflectiveness, masculinity, superiolity, affects scholastic achievement. 3. There was no difference in personality factors except "reflectiveness" in relation betweness" in relation between 2nd and 1st grade.

      • 양적 시간적분법에 있어서 평판요소에 대한 한계 시간간격의 계산

        The critical time steps of triangular plate elements for explicit time integration method are calculated and compared with approximate time steps proposed by Belytschko. At first, stiffness and mass matrices are found for nine degree of freedom plate element using velocity strain. Eigenvalue problem is established with the proposed matrices. Maximum eigenvalue is utilized as the factor for critical time step. For several shapes of triangular elements, maximum eigenvalues are calculated and critical time steps are found. The ratios between approximate time step and time step by eigenvalue calculation are plotted for different triangular shapes. The ratio in equilateral triangle is the largest; approximately 2.6. The other shapes shows the value around 2. The results of this research can be utilized as a factor to decide the critical time step for triangular plate element.

        相關係數가 0.7以上의 것이 20個項이였으며, 0.9 以上의 良好한 相關性이 4個項으로, 그들의 回掃直線式은 BOD=2.3(Cl-)-7.8(大淵川), 濁度=1.2(BOD)+46.7(大淵川), DOD=3.2(COD)-21(龍湖川), SS=1.5(COD)-5.1(寶水川)로 밝혀졌다. There can be found 20 item being 0.7 interrelationship and 4 excellent item being 0.9 interrelationship as the result of test. Thus the equation of regression curve couldbe expressed as the following formula. BOD=2.3(Cl-)-73.8 Turbidity=1.2(BOD)+46.7 BOD=3.2(COD)-21 SS=1.5(COD)-5.1
