      • CdS 광도전막의 제조 및 그 응용

        The Polycrystallized CdS films have been fabricated at the substrate temperature above 200℃ by thermal evaporation method. When the CdS films were annealed at the temperature higher than 400℃, the dark resistivity was increased. From the photoconductive properties of CdS films under 50~1500uW/cm^(2) illumination, the maximum values of I_(p)/I_(d) ratio and photosensitivity were 60dB and 0.82, respectively. The optical properties of CdS films were measured by spectrometer, the optical band gap of CdS film was different with heat treatment, These results show that this evaporated CdS films are expected to be used as photoconductive cells or photoelectric sensors.

        HCV-Specific Interleukin-21+CD4+ T Cells Responses Associated with Viral Control through the Modulation of HCV-Specific CD8+ T Cells Function in Chronic Hepatitis C Patients

        Interleukin-21 (IL-21)+CD4+ T cells are involved in the immune response against hepatitis B virus (HBV) by secreting IL-21. However, the role of IL-21+CD4+ T cells in the immune response against chronic hepatitis C (CHC) virus infection is poorly understood. This study aimed to investigate the role of IL-21+CD4+ T cells in CHC patients and the potential mechanisms. The study subjects in-cluded nineteen CHC patients who were grouped by viral load (low, < 106 RNA copies/ml, n = 8; high, > 106 RNA copies/ml, n = 11). The peripheral frequency of HCV-specific IL-21+CD4+ T cells was higher in the low viral load group and was negatively correlated with the serum HCV RNA viral load in all CHC patients. Meanwhile, IL-21+ cells accumulated in the liver in the low viral load group. In vitro, IL-21 treatment increased the expression of proliferation markers and cytolytic molecules on HCV-specific CD8+ T cells. In summary, these findings suggest that HCV-specific IL-21+CD4+ T cells might contribute to HCV control by rescuing HCV-specific CD8+ T cells in CHC patients.

        Outer loop unrolling that unrolls outer loops can improve the data locality of loop nest. In this paper, we estimated the change of data locality as unrolling factors increase and verified this estimated results from the experiments of matrix multiplication. This experiments consist of measuring execution time and data cache miss rates. In result, as unrolling factors increase, at first, execution time and miss rate reduce rapidly and this reduction decreases little by little. From this result, we can unroll outer loop 4-5 times maximally, to improve the data locality of loop nest. Also, this can reduce compile time for decision of unrolling factor in analysis of outer loop unrolling to improve data locality.

      • Homogenized 현탁중합에 의한 폴리메틸메타크릴레이트 고분자 입자의 제조 및 특성

        In this study, homogenized suspension polymerization of methyl methacrylate(MMA) using poly (vinyl- alcohol) (PVA) as suspension stabilizer and benzoyl peroxide(BPO) as initiator was carried out with various polymerization variables. Particle size, distribution, exothermic peak according to the polymerization condition were observed. Particle size of 5~80㎛ was prepared via homogenized suspension polymerization. Particle size was influenced by the concentration of suspension stabilizer and homogenizer speeds. The average particle diameter decreased with PVA concentration and homogenizer speeds, and increased with BPO concentration. Exothermic peak was also influenced by the stirring speed, concentration of suspension stabilizer and initiator.

        Perineal raphe with special reference to its extension to the anus

        The raphe of the human penis and scrotum is considered to develop secondarily after disappearance of the initial midline seam by fusion of the bilateral genital folds. However, the fetal development was still obscure. We examined histological sections of 30 fetuses (17 males and 13 females) at 10–15 weeks. In male fetuses, the scrotum was not yet clearly identified because of no descent of testis. The perineal raphe was thin and wavy at 10 weeks, and it was continuous with and took a direction same as the inferior wall of the closed penile urethra after physiological hypospadias. Depending on growth of the bulbospongiosus muscle and corpus spongiosus penis, the midline intermuscular septum obtained a connection to the subcutaneous wavy raphe and made the latter thick and straight at 12–15 weeks. Notably, the perineal raphe extended posteriorly to attach to the external anal sphincter. In female fetuses, an epithelial fusion occurred along a short distance at the posterior end of the vestibule. However, in front of the external anal sphincter, a large midline mesenchymal tissue from the urorectal septum did not contain a raphe-like structure. Moreover, since the bilateral bulbospongiosus muscles were separated widely by the vestibule, they did not provide a midline septum. Fetal development of the perineal raphe was accelerated by reinforcement from the muscular septum. In contrast, without such a muscular support, the female raphe could not maintain its growth even if the seed appeared at the posterior end of the vestibule.

      • Does Blockchain Technology Promote the Quality of Enterprise Accounting Information?

        Purpose - A crucial technology of the information society, blockchain technology has been introduced to more and more companies because blockchain technology can improve operation efficiency. This study aims to find how to apply blockchain technology to improve the quality of accounting information, so as to help investors better understand the company. Design/Methodology/Approach - This study conducts a fixed-effect regression analysis on the data of Chinese A-share listed companies from 2010 to 2019 to examine whether blockchain technology impacts the quality of accounting information. Findings - The empirical results show that investment in blockchain technology indeed positively affects the quality of enterprise accounting information. Furthermore, we found that the greater the attention of analysts, the higher the degree to which blockchain technology improves the quality of accounting information. Also, when the company has a stronger innovation ability, there is a higher degree to which blockchain technology improves the quality of accounting information. Research Implications - This study enriches the relevant research of the impact of blockchain technology on enterprise accounting information quality. It suggests that companies devoted to blockchain technology can promote trust between all parties and improve information transparency. Meanwhile, companies should increase R&D investment so that blockchain can effectively improve the quality of accounting information.

        Dimeric- and trimeric sesquiterpenes from the flower of <i>Inula japonica</i>

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>An undescribed unusual sesquiterpene trimer and three sesquiterpene dimers were isolated from the flowers of <I>Inula japonica</I>. Their structures were elucidated by extensive analysis of 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic data as well as HRESIMS data. Inulajaponicolide A has an undescribed carbon skeleton comprising of one xanthanolide and two guaianolide units with the linkage mode of C-11/C-3ʹ and C-11ʹ/C-1ʹʹ via a Diels-Alder cycloaddition reaction. Inulajaponicolides C and D exhibited moderate cytotoxic activity against A 549 and NCI-H460 human cancer cell lines with IC<SUB>50</SUB> values ranging from 8.5 to 17.8 μM.       • Performances of the Effervescent Atomizer for Water Mist Fire Extinguishing

        Based on the mechanism of effervescent atomization, a new effervescent atomization system of water mist was designed. In this system, the gas medium is carbon dioxide, which is soluble and can be used in fire suppression. High pressure saturated carbon dioxide-water solution flowed through the throttle orifice, carbon dioxide was bubbled, and the two-phase flow was formed in the mixing chamber of nozzle. At last, the water mist was formed downstream of the exit orifice of nozzle. In order to examine the feasibility of this system, data were collected, processed and analyzed with DUAL PDA. The velocity profile and drop-size distribution (D10, D32, Dv0.9) downstream of the effervescent atomizer were gained. The efficiency of fire suppression of this system were experimentally investigated by putting out the fire of industry alcohol and diesel oil. The experimental results showed that this water mist system is feasible for fire suppression.

        Recovery of cellulases by adsorption/desorption using cation exchange resins

        Cellulases from Trichoderma reesei were recovered by adsorption in sodium acetate buffer at lower pH using cation exchange resins followed by desorption at higher pH. The weakly acidic ion exchange resin WK10 was found to be the best among the six resins tested in terms of the enzyme activity recovery. The optimal pH values for the adsorption and desorption were 4.0 and 8.0, respectively, and the optimal adsorption and desorption times were both 5 h. Almost 100% of the initial cellulase activity was recovered under the optimal conditions with the supplement of β-glucosidase, which was unable to be efficiently recovered due to its strong adsorption (95.7%) but poor desorption (1.9%).

      • Phase II Study of Pemetrexed as Second or Third Line Combined Chemotherapy in Patients with Colorectal Cancer

        Purpose: To investigate the safety and efficacy of pemetrexed combined with chemotherapy as second or third line in patients with stage IV colorectal cancer (CRC). Patients and Methods: This trial was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of pemetrexed given to patients with recurrent or metastatic colorectal carcinoma who previously received 5-FU-based chemotherapy. All patients were required to have a histological diagnosis of colorectal adenocarcinoma with measurable metastatic disease and prior chemotherapy. Patients received pemetrexed at a dose of 500 $mg/m^2$ by 10 minute infusion on day 1, repeated every 21 days. Doses were modified depending on nadir counts. Combined chemotherapy included Oxaliplatin, Irinotecan and cis-platinum. Results: Thirty patients were enrolled and twenty-nine were evaluable for response. One patient did not have repeat radiological testing to determine response because he went off study after only one cycle of treatment for economic reasons. For 29 evaluable patients, 1 partial response, 6 stable disease and 22 progressive disease were recorded. Response rate was 3.45% (1/29). All responses occurred in patients receiving a starting dose of pemetrexed 500 $mg/m^2$. Median time to progression for all eligible patients was 2.5 months. The most common toxicities experienced were mild to moderate fever, hepatic damage, myelosuppression, nausea, vomiting, constipation, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and skin rash. Conclusion: Pemetrexed at 500 $mg/m^2$ given every three weeks combined with chemotherapy is associated with moderate response and good tolerability in patients with stage IV CRC.
