Purpose: To investigate the prevalence of spina bifida occulta (SBO) and its relationship with the presence of overactive bladder (OAB) in middle-aged and elderly people in China. Methods: A cross-sectional community-based survey was carried out at 7 communities in Zhengzhou City, China from December 15, 2013 to June 10, 2014, where residents aged over 40 years were randomly selected to participate. All of the participants underwent lumbosacral radiographic analysis and relevant laboratory tests. A questionnaire including basic information, past medical history and present illness, and the OAB symptom score was filled out by all participants. Chi-square tests and logistic regression were used for data analysis with a P-value of <0.05 denoting statistical significance. Results: A total of 1,061 subjects were qualified for the final statistical analysis (58.8±11.7 years; male, 471 [44.4%]; female, 590 [55.6%]). The overall prevalence of SBO was 15.1% (160 of 1,061): 18.3% (86 of 471) in men and 12.5% (74 of 590) in women. Among these subjects, 13.7% (145 of 1,061) had OAB: 13.2% (62 of 471) in men and 14.1% (83 of 590) in women. The results of logistic regression showed that age, SBO, history of cerebral infarction (HCI), and constipation were risk factors for OAB (P<0.05), while sex, history of childhood enuresis (HCE), body mass index (BMI), and diabetes mellitus (DM) were not (P>0.05). In men, age, SBO, and constipation were risk factors for OAB (P<0.05), while HCE, BMI, DM, HCI, and benign prostate hyperplasia were not (P>0.05). In women, age, SBO, and HCI were risk factors for OAB (P<0.05), while HCE, BMI, DM, vaginal delivery, and constipation were not (P>0.05). Conclusions: The prevalence of SBO is high and it is related to OAB in middle-aged and elderly people in China.

Feng Pengfei,Jin Huiqing,Gu Jiangyang,Han Jian 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Multimedia and Ubiquitous Vol.11 No.11
As the acceleration of urban construction, the dump heavies(building soil-transporting vehicle) shuttle back and forth in urban road. For the sake of profits, the crazy overload transportation makes the vehicles lose braking control and steering ability in emergency state. The common occurrence of traffic disasters brings huge hidden trouble of urban traffic safety. Its harm is self-evident, causing serious damage to infrastructure, to threaten the safety of life and property of the people, to disrupt the market economic order, but also cause environmental pollution. In recent years, the traffic management departments and urban management departments jointly monitor the discharging heavy trucks in the forms of surveillance and reporting by the masses, installing camera and monitor, self-discipline and self-supervision of investors, etc. These forms are limited to the forms and surface, so they cannot effectively stop the overload of self-discharging trucks. How to better and accurately monitor and stop the over-load? The paper intends to achieve intelligent monitoring and alarming on the overload of dump heavy through internet + public transportation monitoring. First the controller is selected and the weighting sensing system is designed through selecting the weighting sensor and determining the installation position of weighting sensor. Then the construction of APP overload monitoring is finished by the three steps including constructing dual-core system, generating database and designing APP display module. Finally after finishing the design of intelligent overload detection system, the paper conducts experiments to validate its effectiveness. The results show that when considering no electromagnetic, the overload equipment and APP software system could receive the overload information timely and reliably.
An Efficient Data Collection Protocol for Maximum Sensor Network Data Persistence
Jian Wan,Li Yang,Wei Zhang,Huayou Si,Jin Feng 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Future Generation Communi Vol.9 No.11
Sensor network has lot applications in the early warning and assistant of disaster environment such as debris flows, floods and forest fires. However, such disaster environment pose an interesting challenge for data collection since sensor nodes may be destroyed unpredictably and centrally, resulting in the decrease of data persistence in the network. Growth Codes Protocol (GCP) first focuses on increase sensor network data persistent in the disaster. However, the completely random data transmission way in GCP may cause a large number of invalid data transmissions and therefore, the efficiency of data collection of the protocol is not ideal in the late stage of data collection. In this paper, we propose an efficient data collection protocol (DGCP) to maximize sensor network data persistence by changing the completely random data transmission way. Packet classification mechanism and a novel dynamic probability model of data transmission in DGCP are proposed to control the effective direction of data flow. Furthermore, we found that the parameter optimization problem of the probabilistic model is a problem of searching the optimal solution in a mathematical view. Based on this property, we propose a genetic algorithm to optimize the dynamic probability model. The performance of the proposed DGCP is shown by a comparative experimental study. When compared with GCP, our DGCP has better performance in a variety of environments

Cu (II) detection is of great importance owing to its significant function in various biological processes. In this report, we developed a novel coumarin-based chemosensor bearing the salicylaldimine unit (2) for Cu2+ selective detection. The results from fluorescence spectra demonstrated that the sensor could selectively recognize Cu2+ over other metal cations and the detection limit is as low as 0.2 μM. Moreover, the confocal fluorescence imaging in HepG2 cells illustrated its potential for biological applications.
A Novel Hysteresis Control Strategy Based on Ampere-Second Balance of the Modulate Capacitor
Jin-Bin Zhao,Jian-Feng Dai,Ke-Qing Qu,Fen Li 전력전자학회 2014 JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS Vol.14 No.6
A novel hysteresis PWM control strategy for synchronous buck converter is proposed. The proposed control strategy is based on ampere-second balance of the modulate capacitor, which not only offers faster transient response to meet the challenges of the power supply requirements of fast dynamic load changes, but also provides better stability and solves the compensation problem of error amplifier in the conversional voltage PWM control. Finally, the steady-state and dynamic operation of the control method is analyzed and verified by simulation and experimental results.

<P>In order to exploit the 430-cavity in the active sites of neuraminidases, 22 zanamivir analogs with C-1 and C-4 modification were synthesized, and their inhibitory activities against both group-1 (H5N1, H1N1) and group-2 neuraminidases (H3N2) were determined. Compound <B>9f</B> exerts the most potency, with IC50 value of 0.013, 0.001, and 0.09 μM against H3N2, H5N1, and H1N1, which is similar to that of zanamivir (H3N2 IC50 = 0.0014 μM, H5N1 IC50 = 0.012 μM, H1N1 IC50 = 0.001 μM). Pharmacokinetic studies of compound <B>9f</B> in rats showed a much longer plasma half-life (<I>t</I>1/2) than that of zanamivir following administration (po dose). Molecular modeling provided information about the binding model between the new inhibitors and neuraminidase, with the elongated groups at the C-1-position being projected toward the 430-loop region. This study may represent a novel starting point for the future development of improved antiflu agents.</P><P><B>Graphic Abstract</B> <IMG SRC='http://pubs.acs.org/appl/literatum/publisher/achs/journals/content/jmcmar/2013/jmcmar.2013.56.issue-3/jm3009713/production/images/medium/jm-2012-009713_0009.gif'></P><P><A href='http://pubs.acs.org/doi/suppl/10.1021/jm3009713'>ACS Electronic Supporting Info</A></P>

This paper considers the parameter identification problems of controlled autoregressive systems using observation information. According to the hierarchical identification principle, we decompose the controlled autoregressive system into two subsystems by introducing two fictitious output variables. Then a two-stage gradientbased iterative algorithm is proposed by means of the iterative technique. In order to improve the performance of the tracking the time-varying parameters, we derive a two-stage multi-innovation gradient-based iterative algorithm based on the multi-innovation identification theory. Finally, an example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.
