The adequate dietary intake is important to maintain the nutritional status of the patients after pancreatic cancer surgery. This prospective study was designed to investigate the dietary intake and the nutritional status of the patients who had pancreatic cancer surgery. Thirty-one patients (15 men, 16 women) were enrolled and measured body weight, body mass index (BMI), nutritional risk index (NRI), and Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool (MUST). Actual oral intake with nutritional impact symptoms recorded on the clinical research foam at every meal and medical information were collected from electronic medical charts. The rates of malnutrition at admission were 45.1% (14/31) and 28.9% (9/31) by NRI and MUST method, respectively, but those were increased to 87% (27/31) and 86.6% (26/31) after operation on discharge. The median values of daily intake of energy, carbohydrates, fat, and protein were 588.1 kcal, 96.0 g, 11.8 g, and 27.0 g, respectively. Most patients (n = 20, 64.5%) experienced two or more symptoms such as anorexia, abdominal bloating and early satiety. There were negative correlations between C-reactive protein (CRP) levels and the intake of total energy, protein, fat, and zinc. The rates of malnutrition were increased sharply after surgery and the dietary intake also influenced the inflammatory indicators. The results suggested that need of considering special therapeutic diets for the patients who received pancreatic surgery.
초등학교 다문화가정 학생선수의 체조부 활동 경험과 의미

본 연구는 초등학교 다문화가정 학생선수들의 체조부 활동 경험과 교육적 의미를 탐색하고자 문화기술적 사례연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위해 다문화가정 인구가 밀집한 D초등학교 다문화가정 체조부 학생선수 2명과 여자 전임 코치를 연구 참여자로 선정하였다. 연구 기간은 2016년 12월부터 2017년 10월까지이며 심층면담, 참여 관찰, 문서자료 등을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 자료 분석은 Spradley(1979)가 제안한 영역 분석과 분류 분석을 활용하였다. 연구 결과 먼저 이들은 국적 취득 및 신분 상승의 꿈을 품고 있었으며, 열악한 가정 경제 구조 속에서 부모를 대신한 보살핌과 운동 기술의 습득을 위해 체조에 입문하였다. 다음으로 이들은 높은 강도의 훈련과 부상을 견디고, 자체평가전, 체조부 후원 행사 등에 적극 참여함으로써 체조에 대한 열정을 보여주었다. 셋째 국적 문제로 인해 대회 출전 좌절로 심리적인 박탈감과 정체성에 대한 혼란을 경험하였고, 체조부원 수급의 어려움은 진로에 대한 불안감으로 연결되었다. 이를 토대로 다문화가정 학생선수들의 체조부 활동 경험은 ‘다문화가정의 삶의 질 향상의 기제’, ‘개인적 성장의 기회 제공’, ‘사회통합 실천의 장으로서의 학교의 역할 발견’이라는 교육적 의미를 도출할 수 있었다. This study conducted a ethno-graphical study to explore the experiences and educational meaning of multi-cultural students in elementary schools. For this, two students from D Elementary School, which has a large population of multi-cultural families, and a female coach were selected as participants. Reserach data was collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation data from December 2016 to October 2017. The data analysis applied the area analysis and classification analysis proposed by Spradley (1979). As a result of research, they were dreaming of gaining nationality and elevating their status and joined gymnastics club in order to learn athletic skills under the poor family economic structure. Next, they showed passion for gymnastics by enduring hard training and injuries, participating in self-evaluation competitions and events sponsored by the local organization. Third, they experienced a sense of psychological deprivation and identity confusion due to their frustration and failure in participating in the competition due to the nationality issue, and difficulties in the supply and demand of gymnastics students athlete were linked to anxiety about their career. Based on the result, the educational meaning of the experiences of student athletes from multi-cultural families were concluded as ‘a mechanism for improving the quality of life of multi-cultural families’, ‘providing opportunities for personal growth’, and ‘discovery the role of schools as a field of social integration’
