<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>We propose a novel airway segmentation method in volumetric chest computed tomography (CT) and evaluate its performance on multiple datasets. The segmentation is performed voxel-by-voxel by a 2.5D convolutional neural net (2.5D CNN) trained in a supervised manner. To enhance the accuracy of the segmented airway tree, we simultaneously took three adjacent slices in each of the orthogonal directions including axial, sagittal, and coronal and fine-tuned the parameters that influence the tree length and the number of leakage. The gold standard of airway segmentation was generated by a semi-automated method using AVIEW™. The 2.5D CNN was trained and evaluated on a subset of inspiratory thoracic CT scans taken from the Korean obstructive lung disease study, which includes normal subjects and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients. The reliability and further practicality of our proposed method was demonstrated in multiple datasets. In eight test datasets collected by the same imaging protocol, the percentage detected tree length, false positive rate, and Dice similarity coefficient of our method were 92.16%, 7.74%, and 0.8997 ± 0.0892, respectively. In 20 test datasets of the EXACT’09 challenge, the percentage detected tree length was 60.1% and the false positive rate was 4.56%. New treatment method for pain and reduction of local anesthesia use in deep caries

Chemo-mechanical caries removal methods are known to be more effective compared with conventional methods in pain reduction. $Carie-care^{TM}$, a chemo-mechanical caries removal agent, was introduced in 2010 but a systematic review of its efficacy has not yet been performed. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of $Carie-care^{TM}$ on the outcomes of treatment of caries in children and adolescents. The primary outcome was pain while the secondary outcomes included complete caries removal (CCR), time, need for local anesthesia and behavioral response changes. A Comprehensive literature search was performed in PubMed, EMBASE, and the Cochrane Library up to 30 September 2018. The following keywords were used in the search: 'chemo-mechanical caries removal agent', 'dental caries', 'Carie-care', 'chemo-mechanical caries removal', 'chemo-mechanical caries excavation', other related keywords, and their combinations. From 942 studies identified, 16 were analyzed. Finally, 4 studies met the eligibility criteria and 260 teeth in 120 children and adolescents were included in this review. This review showed that $Carie-care^{TM}$ reduces pain during caries treatment but requires a longer time for effective treatment than conventional methods. Local anesthesia was not required in the Chemo-mechanical caries removal (CMCR) group. In addition, dental anxiety decreased compared to the control group, and co-operation was more positive. Therefore, it may be a useful alternative to conventional methods in children and adolescents, but further verification through additional studies is needed.
Resistance of Oil Seed Crops to Meloidogyne arenaria and M. incognita in Korea

To select resistant oil seed crops against two species of root-knot nematodes, M. incognita and M. arenaria, 10 cultivars of sesame (Sesamum indicum) and 10 cultivars of perilla (Perilla frutescens var. japonica) were screened in greenhouse pot test. All sesame cultivars tested were resistant to M. incognita but susceptible to M. arenaria. While, perilla was resistant to both Meloidogyne species. Therefore, perilla cultivars could be used as rotation crops in greenhouses infested with both M. incognita and M. arenaria. But, sesame cultivars only can be used as a rotation crops in greenhouses infested with M. incognita but not for M. arenaria.

Objective To compare the accuracy of ultrasound-guided and non-guided botulinum toxin injections into the neck muscles involved in cervical dystonia. Methods Two physicians examined six muscles (sternocleidomastoid, upper trapezius, levator scapulae, splenius capitis, scalenus anterior, and scalenus medius) from six fresh cadavers. Each physician injected ultrasound-guided and non-guided injections to each side of the cadaver’s neck muscles, respectively. Each physician then dissected the other physician’s injected muscle to identify the injection results. For each injection technique, different colored dyes were used. Dissection was performed to identify the results of the injections. The muscles were divided into two groups based on the difficulty of access: sternocleidomastoid and upper trapezius muscles (group A) and the levator scapulae, splenius capitis, scalenus anterior, and scalenus medius muscles (group B). Results The ultrasound-guided and non-guided injection accuracies of the group B muscles were 95.8% and 54.2%, respectively (p<0.001), while the ultrasound-guided and non-guided injection accuracies of the group A muscles were 100% and 79.2%, respectively (p<0.05). Conclusion Ultrasound-guided botulinum toxin injections into inaccessible neck muscles provide a higher degree of accuracy than non-guided injections. It may also be desirable to consider performing ultrasound-guided injections into accessible neck muscles.

As the interest in ESG has been rising due to the COVID-19, social requests on Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) grow rapidly. In this study, sustainability report - a non-financial report of the corporation including eco-friendly social activities - was used to analyze the CSR with the unstructured dataset. In order to utilize the unstructured dataset, this research analyzed the CEO’s greetings in sustainability report and CSR issue keywords in 2013, 2016, and 2019 through text-mining and topic modeling, separately. CSR issue keywords in 2013 were share, principle, production, satisfaction, and nation. Keywords in 2016 were opportunity, humanity, ethical management, excellence, and warmth. Keywords in 2019 were digital, sustainability, partner, electricity, and hydrogen. These results indicate that the concept of CSR has been expanded. CSR includes not only the concept of responsibility for social contribution, but also the environment, climate change, ownership structure, and win-win cooperation. Thus, due to the expansion of social responsibility, the importance of sustainability report will gradually increase when the corporation resolves the social problem. This study is expected to be used as basic data related to CSR.

Recently, corporate social responsibility (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities are recognized as investment, not cost, and are emerging as an important issue in the business environment. CSR is computed using the Corporate Social Contribution Index evaluated by the Economic Justice Institute, the ESG grade evaluated by the Korea Governance Agency, and corporate donations. The concept of CSR is multidimensional, and it is necessary to study in detail such as social, environmental, and legal aspects. This study aims to develop keywords that can measure CSR. As of December 2020, a multi-year sustainability report was collected for 100 companies with assets listed and unlisted on the securities market, and the direction and size of corporate social responsibility activities can be measured in unstructured data such as CEO speeches and greetings through finding out the keywords. The measurement tool for CSR is not limited to a specific evaluation frame, and an indicator is developed using the CSR keyword seed development and the correlations between keywords. Compared with the business performance of the company, the importance of corporate social responsibility activities will be recognized, and it can be used as useful data for corporate marketing activities and decision making.
