STRUCTURAL PROJECTIONS ON A JBW-TRIPLE AND GL-PROJECTIONS ON ITS PREDUAL

A $JB^{*}-triple$ is a Banach space A on which the group Aut(B) of biholomorphic automorphisms acts transitively on the open unit ball B of A. In this case, a triple product {$\cdots$} from $A\;\times\;A\;\times\;A\;to\;A$ can be defined in a canonical way. If A is also the dual of some Banach space $A_{*}$, then A is said to be a JBW triple. A projection R on A is said to be structural if the identity {Ra, b, Rc} = R{a, Rb, c, }holds. On $JBW^{*}-triples$, structural projections being algebraic objects by definition have also some interesting metric properties, and it is possible to give a full characterization of structural projections in terms of the norm of the predual $A_{*}$ of A. It is shown, that the class of structural projections on A coincides with the class of the adjoints of neutral GL-projections on $A_{*}$. Furthermore, the class of GL-projections on $A_{*}$ is naturally ordered and is completely ortho-additive with respect to L-orthogonality.

The catalyzed liquid-phase reaction of isobutene with a homologous series of linear alcohols, frommethanol to 1-butanol, has been studied at 333 K and 1.5 MPa. Sixteen sulfonic ion-exchange resins, tocover a wide range of properties, have been assayed. A response surface methodology analysis allowed toidentify the most relevant catalyst properties, and the change of their relative importance along thehomologous series of alcohols. Globally, reaction rates increase with the alcohol length. Resins with ahigh acid capacity and low specific volume of swollen polymer are the most active ones for the studiedetherification reactions.

농촌의 다원적 기능이 강조되고 있는 시점에서 농촌건강장수마을사업은 농촌의 활성화에 긍정적인 효과를 나타내고 있는 것으로 평가되었다. 특히 농촌인구의 감소 및 노령화·여성화가 급진전되고 있는 상황에서 농촌진흥사업으로 추진되는 농촌 건강장수마을사업은 농촌주민의 참여도 및 만족도가 높으며, 개인적으로는 건강관리, 여가 및 사회활동의 증가가 나타났고, 마을단위로는 쾌적한 마을환경조성, 농촌생활의 활력소가 증가된 것으로 나타났다. 농촌인구에서 노령화에 따르는 여성화는 젠더요소의 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 여성인구가 많음에도 불구하고 사업추진위원구성에서 여성의 참여는 저조하며, 사업의 특성에 따라 성별로 차별화될 가능성이 높다. 따라서 특히 성별요인을 고려한 사업의 추진뿐만 아니라 다른 농촌진흥사업과 연계된 프로그램운영으로 농촌의 활성화에 시너지효과를 제고시킬 필요가 있다. It has been estimated that the projects of health and well-being in rural communities have a positive affect on revitalization of agriculture at the place where multifaceted functions of rural communities are emphasized. Along with the situation that decrease in rural population, increased longevity, and feminization are rapidly taking place, the projects of health and well-being in rural communities indicate higher satisfaction and participation among people in rural villages. From the individual level, the projects have increased leisure and social activities and concerns about health care. The creation of pleasant environments and increased vitality in rural life have been achieved from the village level. Feminization with increased longevity represents the importance of gender factor. Despite the fact that there are many women in rural areas, the extent of women"s participation in the process of developing projects remains low. Also there are high possibilities that women are easily discriminated by characteristics of projects. Therefore, it is recommended that we need to develop projects considering gender factors and to manage programs associated with other agricultural projects in terms of promoting synergy effects on the revitalization of rural communities.

Generally, bridge designers must consider variable factors in design or bridge-structures. for this reason, it was difficult to make a design program till now. However, the rapid computer's development turns it into a possible one with considering complex factors and the advance or computer's language make us design programming. When we use the automatic design program including structural analysis(FEM), we can save the time and effort. Additionally, the automatic design program was generated to reduce the man' errors. Therefore, in this paper, we try to develop the automatic design program or the Prestress- ed Concrete Slab Bridge. This design program will support bridge designers with time that they can spend on a creative and efficient duty for development or design.

Undaria pinnatifida (UP) has long been ingested by woman who was delivered of a child. The present study was investigated to find out the contractive compound from UP and the contractive mechanism. The active extract, MeOH extract was partitioned with CHCl₃ and water. Whereas potassium iodide and alginic acid do not affected the uterus contraction, CHC1₃ extract significantly increased uterus contraction in vitro and in situ studies. The contraction by CHCl₃ extract was not blocked by atropine, prazosin and propranolol. Blood estrogen level was not changed by CHCl₃ extract.

The kinetics scheme for directly excited, photoreversible reactions is solved exactly under the assumptions of no irreversible side reactions and constant excitation intensity for the duration of the reaction. The advantages of the methodology over the extrapolation-to-zero-time and the back-reaction correction methods are (i) that the quantum yields of both the forward and reverse photoreactions can be obtained starting from either pure reactant or pure product and (ii) the conversion percentage is not limited to a narrow domain in the neighborhood of small conversions. Examples of E-Z photoisomerizations are given to illustrate the fitting procedures required. The results from these examples are compared to the photoisomerization method of extrapolating the empirical quantum yields to zero time and the back-reaction correction. The exact equations are used to justify the extrapolation-to-zero-time method and to establish criteria on extrapolation ranges for the conversion percentage of starting material.
