ONO-주개원자를 가지는 1,3-dihydroxy-2-ethyl-2-(salicylideneamino)propane과 그 유도체들의 몰리브텐(V)-산소 착물, (PyH)[MoO(NCS)₂(L)] (L=L¹~L6)을 합성하였다. 원소분석, 적외선, ¹H 핵자기 공명, 그리고 전자 스펙트럼으로부터 착물의 구조 및 분광학적 성질 그리고 순환 전류전압법을 이용하여 치환기에 따른 전기화학적 성질을 조사하였다.

LGR5<SUP>+</SUP> stem cells reside at crypt bottoms, intermingled with Paneth cells that provide Wnt, Notch and epidermal growth factor signals. Here we find that the related RNF43 and ZNRF3 transmembrane E3 ubiquitin ligases are uniquely expressed in LGR5<SUP>+</SUP> stem cells. Simultaneous deletion of the two genes encoding these proteins in the intestinal epithelium of mice induces rapidly growing adenomas containing high numbers of Paneth and LGR5<SUP>+</SUP> stem cells. In vitro, growth of organoids derived from these adenomas is arrested when Wnt secretion is inhibited, indicating a dependence of the adenoma stem cells on Wnt produced by adenoma Paneth cells. In the HEK293T human cancer cell line, expression of RNF43 blocks Wnt responses and targets surface-expressed frizzled receptors to lysosomes. In the RNF43-mutant colorectal cancer cell line HCT116, reconstitution of RNF43 expression removes its response to exogenous Wnt. We conclude that RNF43 and ZNRF3 reduce Wnt signals by selectively ubiquitinating frizzled receptors, thereby targeting these Wnt receptors for degradation.

<P>The zebrafish gene, <I>mind bomb</I> (<I>mib</I>), encodes a protein that positively regulates of the Delta-mediated Notch signaling. It interacts with the intracellular domain of Delta to promote its ubiquitination and endocytosis. In our search for the mouse homologue of zebrafish <I>mind bomb</I>, we cloned two homologues in the mouse genome: a mouse orthologue (mouse <I>mib1</I>) and a paralogue, named <I>mind bomb-2</I> (<I>mib2</I>), which is evolutionarily conserved from <I>Drosophila</I> to human. Both Mib1 and Mib2 have an E3 ubiquitin ligase activity in their C-terminal RING domain and interact with <I>Xenopus</I> Delta (XD) via their N-terminal region. Mib2 is also able to ligate ubiquitin to XD and shift the membrane localization of Delta to intracellular vesicles. Importantly, Mib2 rescues both the neuronal and vascular defects in the zebrafish <I>mib<SUP>ta52b</SUP></I> mutants. In contrast to the functional similarities between Mib1 and Mib2, <I>mib2</I> is highly expressed in adult tissues, but almost not at all in embryos, whereas <I>mib1</I> is abundantly expressed in both embryos and adult tissues. These data suggest that Mib2 has functional similarities to Mib1, but might have distinct roles in Notch signaling as an E3 ubiquitin ligase.</P>

<P>A wide-aperture ridge waveguide structure was applied to 1.3-mum InGaAsP-InGaAsP multiple-quantum-well laser diodes (LDs) to increase their maximum kink-free output power under single-lateral-mode operations. As a result, a kink-free output power up to 140 mW and an external efficiency of 0.3 W/A were achieved from a single facet of the LD with a 7-mum-wide ridge top and a 1.5-mm-long uncoated cavity.</P>

This paper show an analytical methods in order to obtain the forces, displacements and normal stresses which are occured at the section of curved girder bridges for personal computer with diskdriver. And then the computed results has been compared with experimental data. It is suggests that there is a properity in structural analysis by the personal computer and a possibility of application of this program for the general structures.
The Sediment-Water Interface Increment due to the Complex Burrows of Macrofauna in a Tidal Flat

The architecture of macrofaunal burrows and the total area of the sediment-water interface created by biogenic structure were investigated in the Donggeomdo tidal flat on the west coast of Korea. Resin casting methods were applied to recover burrows of four dominant species, Macrophthalmus japonicus, Cleistostoma dilatatum, Perinereis aibuhitensis, and Periserrula leucophryna, and whole burrows within the casting area at three sites in different tidal levels. P. leucophryna excavated the largest burrow in terms of a surface area among them. In the case of whole burrow casting, the space occupied by the biogenic structure was extended into deeper and expanded more greatly at the higher tidal level. In the uppermost flat, the burrow wall surface area within sediment was more extensive than the sediment surface area. Increased oxygen supply through the extended interface could enhance the degradation rates of organic carbon and also change the pathways of degradation. Quantifying the relationship between the extended interface and mineralization rate and pathway requires more extensive study.
