아동의 권리인식과 친사회적 행동 간의 관계 = The Relationship between Children`s Recognition of Rights and Prosocial Behavior

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between the recognition of rights and the prosocial behavior of children. The data was collected from 405 students enrolled in elementary schools in the area of Cheongju city using questionnaires. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: First, there was a statistically significant difference in the recognition of rights between or among groups classified by gender, school years, grade level, and the living with both parents. Second, children`s prosocial behavior also revealed statistically significant difference between or among groups classified by gender, school years, and grade level. Third, there was a statistically significant effect of the recognition of rights on the prosocial behavior of children. Based on the results of this study, the children`s recognition of rights influences their prosocial behavior. Therefore, the improving children`s recognition of rights could help children to grow as responsible civilians. We need to form a public consensus to ensure children`s rights and participation.
