대학신입생의 진로스트레스와 대학생활적응과의 관계에서 자기효능감의 매개 및 조절효과 = Mediation and Moderation Effects of Self-Efficacy Between Career Stress and College Adjustment among Freshmen

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of the present study was 1) to investigate the relations of career stress and college adjustment 2) to examine the mediation effects and moderation effects of self efficacy on these relations. For this study, 1706 college freshmen were recruited. Results were as follows. First, career stress was negatively associated with self efficacy and college adjustment. Second, the results of multiple-regression, which was conducted to investigate the independent effects of sub-factors of career stress on college adjustment, showed that career ambiguity, employment pressure and external conflict had significantly negative relation to college adjustment. Third, self efficacy moderated as well as partially mediated the relation between career stress and college adjustment. Finally, the implications of this study and directions for future study are discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학신입생을 대상으로 진로스트레스와 대학생활적응과의 관계를 살펴보고, 더 나아가 이들 간의 관계에서 자기효능감의 매개효과와 조절효과를 알아보고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 대학신입생 1706명을 대상으로 진로스트레스, 자기효능감, 대학생활적응 척도를 사용하여 조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 진로스트레스는 자기효능감 및 대학생활적응과 통계적으로 유의한 부적상관을 나타내었다. 둘째, 대학생활적응에 영향을 미치는 진로스트레스의 예언력의 정도와 각 하위변인의 독립적인 영향력을 살펴보고자 중다회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 진로스트레스의 하위요인 가운데 진로모호성, 취업압박과 외적갈등이 대학생활적응에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 진로스트레스와 대학생활적응과의 관계에서 자기효능감의 부분매개효과와 조절효과가 모두 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 자기효능감이 진로스트레스와 대학생활적응과의 관계에서 완충작용을 하고 있음을 의미한다. 이를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 상담 및 교육현장에서의 시사점을 논하였다.
