사회수학 통합활동이 유아의 사회적 기술과 수학적 문제해결력에 미치는 영향 = The Effects of Integrated Socialmathematics Program on Children`s Social Skill and Mathematical Problem Solving Ability

This study investigated the effects of Integrated socialmathematics program on children's social skill and mathematical problem solving ability. Subjects were 66 five-year-old children, 33 each for the experimental and the control group. The instrument for this study were Social Skill Situations Measure(Kim & Youn, 1999) and Assessment of Mathematical Problem-solving Ability(Hong, 1995). ANCOVA was employed for a statistical analysis. The results of this study reveal that integrated socialmathematics program has a significant effect on children's social skills and mathematical problem solving abilities.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 사회수학 통합활동이 유아들의 사회적 기술과 수학적 문제해결력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 실험집단과 비교집단 각 33명의 만 5세 유아로 하였다. 본 연구를 위한 측정도구는 사회적 기술 측정 도구(김영옥․윤경선, 1999)와 수학적 문제해결력 검사(홍혜경, 1995)를 사용하였다. 통계방법은 공변량분석(ANCOVA)을 사용하였다. 연구결과 사회수학 통합활동이 유아들의 사회적 기술과 수학적 문제해결에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
