영유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 심리적안녕감과 양육효능감의 관계 연구 = A Study on the Relationships between Psychological Well-being and Parenting Self-efficacy of Preschooler Mothers

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was conducted to see correlations between preschooler mothers’ psychological well-being and parenting self-efficacy in respect to mothers’ age, education, socioeconomic status and current employment status. The Study subjects were 166 preschooler mothers reside in Seoul and Gyeonggi. The Psychological well-being/Parenting self-efficacy testing forms were used as research tools and the data collected from the research was analyzed by t-test and Correlation with SPSS 18.0. The analyzed data indicated the following results. First, there is a significant difference in parenting self-efficacy respect to mothers’ age, education and socioeconomic status. The increased values in following variables-mothers’ age, education level and socioeconomic status revealed positive correlation with parenting self-efficacy. Based on mothers’ education, socioeconomic status and current employment, positive correlation was noticed in respect to psychological well-being. As the values in following variables increases-mothers’ education, socioeconomic status and current employment, parenting self-efficacy increased. Second, parenting self-efficacy indicated the static correlationin all Sub-region of psychological well-being. The Purpose in Life, which is Sub-region in psychological well-being revealed the closest relationships and Self-Acceptance, Environmental Mastery, Personal Growth, Positive Relations with Others, Autonomy, followed respectively. There is a strong positive correlation between the psychological well-being and the parenting self-efficacy.
