관계 상실 경험 대학생이 지각한 사회적 지지가 외상 후 성장에 미치는 영향 : 의도적 반추의 매개효과 = The Effects of Social Support Perceived by University students who had Relational Loss Experienced on Posttraumatic Growth : Mediating Effects of Deliberate Rumination

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 관계 상실을 경험한 대학생이 지각한 사회적 지지와 의도적 반추, 외상 후 성장 간의 관계를 규명하고 사회적 지지와 외상 후 성장 간의 관계에서 의도적 반추의 매개효과를 검증하여 부모의 이혼, 이별, 실연, 절교 등의 관계 상실 외상을 경험한 대학생들의 외상 후 성장을 지원하는 실천적 방안을 모색하는데 있다. 이를 위해 부산․경남 지역 대학생 1,750명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 회수된 설문지 중 19세-24세 후기청소년기에 해당하며, 관계 상실 경험을 가장 충격적인 사건이라고 응답하고 사건당시 주관적 심각도를 ‘보통’이상으로 보고한 314명의 자료를 최종분석에 사용하였다. 자료 분석은 2단계 모형 접근(two-step approach)에 따른 구조방정식 모형 분석을 실시하고 매개효과 검증을 위해 Bootstrapping 방법을 적용하였다. 연구결과 사회적 지지가 의도적 반추에 유의한 영향을 미치고, 의도적 반추가 외상 후 성장에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 사회적 지지가 외상 후 성장에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, 의도적 반추는 사회적 지지와 외상 후 성장 간의 관계를 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 관계 상실 경험 대학생들의 외상 후 성장을 위한 실천적 방안을 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to explore practical ways to support university students who had relational loss experience such as parents divorce, breakup, broken heart, cessation of friendship by identifying the relational between social support perceived by university students who had relational loss experience, deliberate rumination and posttraumatic growth and by verifying the mediating effect of deliberate rumination on the relational between social support and posttraumatic growth. To achieve this, 1,750 university students in Busan and Gyeongnam area were surveyed. This study finally analyzed the data of 314 students those who were in post-adolescence aged 19 to 24 and replied that the most traumatic event was relational loss experience and reported that subjective severity at the time of the incident was more than above average. In the data analysis, structure equation modeling analysis according to the two-step approach was conducted and bootstrapping method was applied for verification of mediating effect. According to the study, social support has a significant impact on the deliberate rumination and deliberate rumination has significant impact on posttraumatic growth. In addition, social support has a significant impact on posttraumatic growth and deliberate rumination was found to partially mediate the relational between posttraumatic growth and social support. Based on these results, this study discussed practical way to deal with posttraumatic growth of university students who had relational loss experience.
