희망과 적응관련 변인의 관계에 관한 메타분석

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 희망과 적응관련 변인들의 관계가 어떠한가를 메타분석을 통해서 체계적으로 정리하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 1990년∼2015년까지 국내 석, 박사 학위논문과 학술논문 중 선정과정을 거쳐 석사학위논문 46편, 박사학위논문 3편, 학술논문 53편 총 102편을 최종 분석하였다. 전체효과크기에서 희망과 정적적응의 효과크기는 , 537로 나타났고, 희망과 부적적응의 효과크기는 -, 387로 높게 나타났다. 조절변인에 따른 희망과 정적적응의 관계에서 학교급별, 연구대상 유형, 희망의 정의와 측 정도구, 희망요소, 개별적인 적응유형에 따라서 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 학교급별로 효과크기의 차이를 살펴보면 희망은 초등학교, 중학교, 대학교가 고등학교보다 높게 나타났고, 연구대상 유형별로는 신체질환 환자와 정상인이 정신질환 환자보다 높게 나타났으며, 희망의 정의와 측정 에서는 Snyder, Miller와 Powers, Nowotny가 Herth보다 높게 나타났고, 희망의 요소에서는 희망주도가 희망경로보다 높게 나타났다. 개별적인 적응유형에서는 자아탄력성과 심리적 안녕감의 효과크기가 높았으며 스트레스 대처능력, 결혼생활적응의 효과크기가 낮게 나타났다. 조절변인에 따른 희망과 부적적응의 관계에서 연구대상, 연구대상 유형, 희망의 정의와 측정, 희망요소, 개별적인 부적적응유형에 따라서 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구대상에서는 노인이 학생과 성인보다 부적으로 높게 나타났고, 신체질환 환자가 정신질환 환자나 정상인보다 부적으로 높게 나타났으며, Herth와 Nowotny가 Snyder, Miller와 Powers보다 부적으로 높게 나타났고, 희망주도가 희망경로보다 부적으로 높았다. 개별적응 유형을 보면 절망감, 불안감, 자기도피가 부적으로 높게 나타났고, 문제행동, 스트레스, 소진, 자살생각은 부적으로 낮게 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 선행연구와의 관련성, 본연구의 시사점 및 제한점 등을 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Hope was considered as a significant variable to increase adjustment of human so the study was to synthesize the studies of the relationship between hope and adjustment related variables by meta-analysis, To achieve research questions, researchers searched for various databases and analyzed 102 studies, which were composed of 46 master``s theses, 3 dissertations, and 53 journals from 1990-2015, Publication biases were analyzed by Rosenthal and Orwin``s Fail-safe N, and Egger``s regression intercept, There was no possibility of publication bias in the relationship between hope and positive adjustment, however, there was a possibility of publication bias in the relationship between hope and negative adjustment, So the researchers examined the bias with trim and fill method suggested by Duval and Tweedie to consider imputed effect sizes not found in the study, The total effect size of hope and positive adjustment was , 537 and that of hope and negative adjustment was -, 387, The moderator variables (school types, research subjects, type of research subjects, definition of hope, elements of hope, adjustment variables) had significant differences on the effect sizes between hope and positive adjustment, and between hope and negative adjustment, Based on the relevance of prior researches, significances and implications of the study were discussed.
