대학생의 진로정체감과 진로결정 자기효능감 및 전공전환 준비도의 관계 = The Relationship Among Career Identity, Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy, and Major Transition Preparation of College Students.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study were to examine college students’ career identity, career decision-making self-efficacy and major transition preparation according to their intention of major transition and to investigate the influences of career identity and career decision-making self-efficacy on major transition preparation. For these purposes, we measured and analyzed 514 college students’ intention of major transition, career identity, career decision-making self-efficacy and major transition preparation in South Korea Honam province. The results were as follows. First, 39.5% students of all the subjects intended to change their major. Especially 50.2% freshmen considered changing their major. 10.3% fourth graders had still the same intention. Second, students of having an opinion for major transition showed lower career identity but higher major transition preparation than students who didn't intend major transition. Third, career decision -making self-efficacy was revealed as a full mediation variable in relationship of career identity and major transition preparation. In conclusion, career decision-making self-efficacy mediated the relationship between career identity and career transition preparation.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 대학생의 전공전환 의향 여부와 전공전환 의향에 따른 진로정체감, 진로결정 자기효능감, 전공전환 준비도의 관계를 알아보고, 전공전환 준비도에 미치는 진로정체감과 진로결정 자기효능감의 영향을 탐구하였다. 이를 위해 전라남북도 소재 4년제 대학의 남녀 학생 513명을 대상으로 전공전환 의향, 진로정체감, 진로결정 자기효능감, 전공전환 준비도를 측정하고 그들간의 관계를 분석하였다. 연구결과 연구대상 전체 중 39.5%의 학생이 전공전환 의향을 가지고 있었고, 1학년 학생의 50.2%가 전공전환 의향을 보였으며, 4학년 학생 중에서도 10%가 넘는 학생이 전공전환 의향을 표시하였다. 전공전환 의향이 있는 학생들을 대상으로 관계모형을 검증한 결과 진로결정 자기효능감이 진로정체감과 전공전환 준비도와의 관계에서 완전 매개변인으로 작용하였다. 결과적으로 전공전환 의향이 있는 학생들 중에서도 진로정체감이 높은 학생은 진로결정 자기효능감이 높아지고, 진로결정 자기효능감은 전공전환 준비도를 높이는데 기여하였다. 이러한 결과는 대학생이 준비된 전공전환을 하도록 돕기 위해 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로정체감을 증진시키는 것이 도움이 될 수 있음을 시사한다.
