        The objective of this paper was to identify the direct relationship between popular culture and fashion style in the 80's and to characterize the value assessment basis of youth subculture, prevailing in the last decade as a mode of punk, middlesex or surrealism fashion, which are rendering substantial influence to many high fashion or Rock music costume designers. 1. Punk fashion was popularized by the initiation of young people who imitated pop stars under the specific circumstance of British economy: to express their aggresiveness, displeasure and nihilism It developed to a style such as mohican hair style, offensive make-up. violent image of accessories, dirty and disgusting clothes and punk image changed into fashionable fantasy combining with modern art. 2. Androgynous style, non-sex, gay fashion, resbian style identified as a middlesex fashion was also influenced by Rock stars ; David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Boy George, Annie Lennox and Laurie Anderson and spread over the adolescent simultaneously on the other hand. 3. Surrealism can be distinguished from the Punk or Middlesex fashion as it refined the artistic style of the 1930's. The overall vision of Surrealist are pursuing a liberal approach to the object by emphasizing its simplicity, friction between the ordinary and extraordinary, body and concept, artifice and the real. It is purporting the detail of body (eyes, lips, feet, hands, breast, shoes etc.) and every other things of nature so as incorporation them into their fashion. All these are reflecting the value of youth culture more or less own characteristics to make the popular culture acceptable by the public in the 1980's.

      • 결혼비용 지출 실태 및 의식 조사

        Families have experienced various changes with the changes of modern society, which affected family life, Especially the sense of value for the marriage has changed a lot only in the meaning of marriage but also in consciousness and the attitude of the marriage. The object of this study is grasping the consciousness about many expenditure for marriage through surveying the marriage expenditure of newly married couple who married below 1 years age. We surveyed 1,200 newly married couples who married below 1 years age, surveying details were common things, scales of engagement expenditure, scales of marriage expenditure, cost for house, effects and the trouble of the trousseau. We recognized that most people has sound the sense of value for marriage and expenses proper expenditure. The reasons trousseau has became social problem are some rich people's showing off excessive trousseau and materialism of people. Each couple's parents and families should consent sufficiently for preventing excessive trousseau. And social organizations should make and supply various social educational program for the sound sense of value for marriage.

      • 비타민 C의 투여가 납중독된 흰쥐의 혈액 및 장기의 납농도에 미치는 영향

        This study was carried out to observe the effect of vitamin C on lead toxicity in rats. Vitamin C was administered excessively to lead-poisoned rats with two levels(1%, 2%). The Wister strain of 105 male rats, weighing 80 ±4.5g were divided into 3groups and fed 0%, 0.05% and 0.2% of lead acetate solution. After administration of lead for 3 weeks, low and high groups were subdivided into 3 groups each and fed 0%, 1% and 2% of vitamin C solution for 4 weeks. The lead concentration of blood and organs were gradually decreased after cessation of lead administration, and it was obvious with vitamin C treatment. And also, the values for 2% vitamin C groups tend to be lower than the ones for 1% vitamin C groups, especially in high lead intoxicated groups. Therefore, it could be concluded that vitamin C seems to be an effective nutrient for reducing the lead concentration on lead poisoning case and the level of vitamin C administration should be adjusted according to the degree of lead intoxication.

      • 전자오븐조리에 있어서 卵液의 응고에 미치는 조리조건의 영향

        The purpose of this study is to determine how cooking condition affects textrual changes of diluted egg solution treated with microwave oven. Samples of 100g were put into the bowl covered by a polyethylene wrapping, and cooked in a microwave oven with the 700W output. Textrual characteristics of the samples were evaluated by the sensory test and by Rheometer. The conditions of gel formations after microwave irradiation were examined too. The results obtained were as follow: 1. Rheometer measurement indicated that the diluted egg solution treated with high power level was softer than the sample treated with low power level. 2. The concentration of egg solution, kind of bowl, and the interaction between concentration of egg solution and kind liquid used for dilution were the significant factors which affected the textrual characteristics of diluted egg solution treated with microwave oven. 3. In sensory evaluation on the various concentration of egg solution, egg solution of 30% diluted by adding water and egg solution of 70% diluted by adding milk showed the most favorite tendency on the overall quality. 4. Syneresis measurement indicated that the concentration of egg solution and kind of liquid used for dilution affected the amount of syneresis.

      • 자원재활용의 관점에서 본 퀼트(quilt)의 발전방향에 관한 연구

        The Formative Recycling Art originated from the Mertscollage and the Junk Art which was believed to express in a negative, destructive and satiric way industrialized civilization after World War Ⅰ. But recent opinion is that it has positive characteristics from the standpoint of environmental protection, stressing the interrelationships of technology, nature and tradition. Along with the recent movement of environmental protection, the quilt became a design phenomenon of great interest, recovering the original objective of the quilt. In Korea we have seen the exhibitions of traditional quilts a lot but the concrete application and the future direction of quilt making have never been discussed. At this moment a study of how to develop and improve the traditional quilt would be meaningful. The first stage was to analyze the development of the American quilt which has contributed greatly to its industralization and the promotion. The result was as follows. 1. Social structure : Organizations such as 'Quilting Bees', where people could cooperate, and socializing using their spare time, helped dissemination quilt making. 2. Quilt patterns were mass produced and their motives, colors and subject matters were developed variously and profoundly to meet the need of the customers. 3. There were many prize contests to arouse motivation to achieve better designs. 4. At the level of Cultural Promotion : There were frequent exhibitions of quilts in museums to arouse the interest of the public. 5. College education : Included in college level education, the quilt was transmitted from a level of craft to a new language of formative art. Now many artists introduced new motifs and materials to quilt. To some artists quilting was a mode of self-training. Now I advise several ways to help disseminate quilting to the public as a way of recycling as follows. 1. Apparel industry develop separate collecting quilting to the public as a way of recycling as follows. 2. To train professional quilt designers who could industrialize quilt patterns and developing quilt designs along with recent fashion information. 3. Active prize contest and exhibitions could promote the creative consciousness of the public. 4. At the level of a nation : Local government offices promote quilt groups for socializing and recreations. They should absorb increasing number of aged ladies to help them their mental problem by spending their spare time enjoying new hobbies.

      • 쌀가루와 식용유의 첨가가 매작과의 품질특성에 미치는 영향

        Maejekgwa is a kind of Korean cookie made from flour. This research attempted to examine the effect of addition of rice flour and oil on the quality characteristics of Maejakgwa. Quality characteristics were estimated through objective method and sensory evaluation. The results are summarized as follows. 1. There was not significant difference of moisture content according to the ratio of added rice flour and the kind of added oil. 2. Oil content of Maejakgwa which was made from flour were more than the samples made from the mixed powder added rice flour, and there was not significant difference according to the kind of added oil. 3. Maejakgwa which was made from flour were harder than the samples made from the mixed powder added rice flour when oil was added, but there was not significant difference according to the kind of added oil. 4. As to color difference, lightness of Maejakgwa unadded oil were higher than the samples added oil, while redness and yellowness were lower. 5. The expansion ratio of Maejakgwa was decreased when rice flour was added. In case of addition of oil, the sample added corn oil were more expanded than the sample added sesame oil. 6. In sensory evaluation of Maejakgwa, there was significant difference in every item. Maejakgwa which was made by adding rice flour of 50% and sesame oil showed the most favorite tendency on the overall quality.

        Customer service has become a key competitive strategy for retail organization in resent years. Dramatic increases in the number of apparel retail establishments and intensive price competition have driven retailers to seek creative ways to draw and maintain customers. The retailers merchandise mix is the service mix. Effective customer service is equated by merchants with the willingness of customer to pay more for products, the opportunity for repeat business, lower advertising costs due to positive word-of-mouth advertising and subsequent increases in bottom-line profits. From the customers perspective, good customer service means convenient store hours, available parking facilities, attention to customer complaints, product-display facilities, product attention and delivery services, credit systems and the availability of product information and assistance. Personal selling and knowledgeable sales people remains a competitive strategy for retailer. Department stores and specialty stores are making effective use of personal service, where as discount store, general merchandise stores and factory outlets are making effective use of price service.

      • 황벽의 색소추출과 안정성에 관한 연구

        This study was carried out the effect of stability and pigment extract in the Phellodendron bak. The stability is to investigate the absorbance of the Berberine, one of the major yellow pigments and the stability regarding the effect of Light. Oxygen, Temperature, PH and IR-Test. The main results are summarized as follows: 1. The best and proper solvent to extract berberine pigment was a ethanol, methanol and a distilled water. 2. The light effect indicated that the absorbances of solution in absence of light was more stable and the most absorbances is 420nm. 3. The Oxygen(O₂) effect to berberine showed that the condition in the absence of O₂was more stable than that in presence of O₂. 4. The temperature showed that the absorbances was best stable in 4℃ and less changed at 25℃〈 60℃. 5. The best condition of berberind was stable in PH 2.
