An Improved LDV-Hop Localization Algorithm in Wireless Sensor Networks

        Xiaoan Bao,Zhongtao Ren,Na Zhang,Xing Hu,Tongshu Wu,Yangqiu Liu 보안공학연구지원센터 2014 International Journal of Control and Automation Vol.7 No.10

Localization of sensor nodes is a fundamental and a key technology in wireless sensor networks, it has been widely studied by many universities and research institutions in recent years and many localization algorithms have been put forward by scholars from diverse aspects. A new localization algorithm, which is based on the LDV-Hop algorithm, is proposed in this paper. Firstly, to reduce the localization error we modify the average one-hop distance between anchor nodes, and the average one-hop distance used for each unknown node's location is also modified through weighting the received average one-hop distance from anchor nodes. Then, to solve the problem of low localization coverage which is the main disadvantage of LDV-Hop localization algorithm, we regard regular node with newly estimated location as anchor node and utilize believable factor threshold to restrain the error accumulation brought by this method.

      • Improving Test Efficiency through Prioritization Based On Testing Dependency

        Na Zhang,Yangqiu Liu,Xiaoan Bao,Xiaoming Xie,Zhongtao Ren,Hui Lin 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of u- and e- Service, Scienc Vol.8 No.6

During the various iterations of software development, test case prioritization generally schedules test cases in order to increase test efficiency as soon as possible without reducing the scale of the test. It is noted that currently, many prioritization techniques are usually based on the assumption that the test cases are independent so as to reduce testing effort. However in the actual test, the dependencies and relations exist between the test cases. In this paper, we propose a new type of prioritization technique based on the relationship of dependencies between test cases. We gather the dependency information of a test suite and then put forward a weighted depth-first search algorithm to determine the most effective order. To assess our approach, an academic feasibility study and three industrial experiments are conducted. Evaluation results indicate that our proposed method can be used to improve the fault detection effectiveness when compared with random ordering and some existed prioritization techniques which are based on function coverage.

Analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects of galangin: a potential pathway to inhibit transient receptor potential vanilloid 1 receptor activation

        Kaiwen Lin,Datian Fu,Zhongtao Wang,Xueer Zhang,Canyang Zhu 대한통증학회 2024 The Korean Journal of Pain Vol.37 No.2

Background: Galangin, commonly employed in traditional Chinese medicine for its diverse medicinal properties, exhibits potential in treating inflammatory pain. Nevertheless, its mechanism of action remains unclear. Methods: Mice were randomly divided into 4 groups for 7 days: a normal control group, a galangin-treated (25 and 50 mg/kg), and a positive control celecoxib (20 mg/kg). Analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects were evaluated using a hot plate test, acetic acid-induced writhing test, acetic acid-induced vascular permeability test, formalininduced paw licking test, and carrageenan-induced paw swelling test. The interplay between galangin, transient receptor potential vanilloid 1 (TRPV1), NF-κB, COX-2, and TNF-α proteins was evaluated via molecular docking. COX- 2, PGE2, IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α levels in serum were measured using ELISA after capsaicin administration (200 nmol/L). TRPV1 expression in the dorsal root ganglion was analyzed by Western blot. The quantities of substance P (SP) and calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) were assessed using qPCR. Results: Galangin reduced hot plate-induced licking latency, acetic acid-induced contortions, carrageenantriggered foot inflammation, and capillary permeability in mice. It exhibited favorable affinity towards TRPV1, NF- κB, COX-2, and TNF-α, resulting in decreased levels of COX-2, PGE2, IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α in serum following capsaicin stimulation. Galangin effectively suppressed the upregulation of TRPV1 protein and associated receptor neuropeptides CGRP and SP mRNA, while concurrently inhibiting the expression of NF-κB, TNF-α, COX-2, and PGE2 mRNA. Conclusions: Galangin exerts its anti-inflammatory pain effects by inhibiting TRPV1 activation and regulating COX-2, NF-κB/TNF-α expression, providing evidence for the use of galangin in the management of inflammatory pain.

Interfacial Reaction in (Mg-37.5Al)/(Mg-6.7Nd) Diffusion Couples

        Jiahong Dai,Shijun Shen,Bin Jiang,Jianyue Zhang,Qingshan Yang,Zhongtao Jiang,Hanwu Dong,Fusheng Pan 대한금속·재료학회 2016 METALS AND MATERIALS International Vol.22 No.1

The solid-state diffusion reaction between Mg-37.5Al and Mg-6.7Nd was studied in the 623-673 K temperature range. A solid-liquid contact method was employed to produce diffusion couples. The Al4Nd, Al11Nd3, Al3Nd and Al2Nd intermetallic compounds form in the diffusion reaction layers of the couples. The formation of intermetallic compounds in the diffusion reaction layers is rationalized using the Miedema model. The local average compositions through the diffusion reaction layer were determined, and used to construct a semi-quantitative diffusion path on the isothermal Mg-Al-Nd ternary phase diagram at 673 K. The growth constants of the entire diffusion reaction layers were determined as 8.91 (±0.94)×10 -14 m 2 /s, 1.39 (±0.15)×10 -13 m 2 /s and 1.93 (±0.38)×10 -13 m 2 /s at 623 K, 648 K and 673 K, respectively. The activation energy Q for the growth of the entire diffusion reaction layers was 54±4.6 kJ/mol.

The influences of lateral leakage on hysteresis effects in flexible organic light-emitting diodes array

        Xiong Zhiyong,Wen Zhuoqi,Cui Zhongjie,Mei Shiliang,He Haiyang,Duan Zhongtao,Zhang Wanlu,Xie Fengxian,Guo Ruiqian 한국물리학회 2023 Current Applied Physics Vol.45 No.-

Hysteresis effects in self-luminous devices like organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) and perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs) have been discovered recently, besides emerging in thin film transistors (TFTs). However, the influences of lateral leakage caused by next-door devices on hysteresis effects in flexible OLEDs array have rarely been demonstrated. To mitigate the impact of lateral leakage and figure out the detailed relationship with hysteresis effects, a series of experiments for OLEDs array involving p-doping in holes transport layer (HTL) were employed. It is found that the lateral leakage and hysteresis effects have a trade-off exhibition, which means stronger lateral leakage has induced weaker hysteresis effects. In order to get rid of the role of lateral leakage, the experiments with mono blue devices were also performed to substantiate the intrinsic hysteresis effects existence. The research opens the possibility of considering more internal relationships between different performances on self-luminous arrays for their actual application.

The Influence of Bcl-3 Expression on Cell Migration and Chemosensitivity of Gastric Cancer Cells via Regulating Hypoxia-Induced Protective Autophagy

Lin Hu,Zhigang Bai,Xuemei Ma,Nan Bai,Zhongtao Zhang 대한위암학회 2020 Journal of gastric cancer Vol. No.

Purpose: Gastric cancer is a highly metastatic malignant tumor, often characterized by chemoresistance and high mortality. In the present study, we aimed to investigate the role of B-cell lymphoma 3 (Bcl-3) protein on cell migration and chemosensitivity of gastric cancer. Materials and Methods: The gastric cancer cell lines, AGS and NCI-N87, were used for the in vitro studies and the in vivo studies were performed using BALB/c nude mice. Western blotting, wound healing assay, Cell Counting Kit-8 assay, immunohistochemistry, and terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase dUTP nick end labeling assay were used to evaluate the role of Bcl-3 in gastric cancer. Results: We found that the protein expression of hypoxia (HYP)-inducible factor-1α and Bcl-3 were markedly upregulated under hypoxic conditions in both AGS and NCI-N87 cells in a time-dependent manner. Interestingly, small interfering RNA-mediated knockdown of Bcl-3 expression affected the migration and chemosensitivity of the gastric cancer cells. AGS and NCI-N87 cells transfected with si-RNA-Bcl-3 (si-Bcl-3) showed significantly reduced migratory ability and increased chemosensitivity to oxaliplatin, 5-fluorouracil, and irinotecan. In addition, si-Bcl-3 restored the autophagy induced by HYP. Further, the protective role of si-Bcl-3 on the gastric cancer cells could be reversed by the autophagy inducer, rapamycin. Importantly, the in vivo xenograft tumor experiments showed similar results. Conclusions: Our present study reveals that Bcl-3 knockdown inhibits cell migration and chemoresistance of gastric cancer cells through restoring HYP-induced autophagy.
