      • A Novel and Efficient Wireless Communication System

        This paper aims to construct a novel wireless communication system, in which source signals are transmitted simultaneously in the same frequency band. The transmitted signals are only required to be statistically independent or statistically distinguished. Therefore, the source signals can be recovered at the receiver by utilizing the classical algorithms of blind source separation (BSS) and independent component analysis (ICA) such as the fast fixed-point algorithm (FastICA). On the one hand, because the source signals are transmitted simultaneously in the same frequency band, the spectrum efficiency of this novel system is much higher than those of time division multiplexing (TDM), frequency division multiplexing (FDM), and code division multiplexing (CDM) systems, in which TDM, FDM and CDM signals are limited in time interval, frequency band and code. On the other hand, inspired by recently proposed reference-based schemes, the reference signals are introduced to the classical separation algorithms of BSS and ICA, which makes this novel system much more efficient than classical ones in terms of computational speed. The performance of this new system is validated through realistic experiments. Additionally, it is theoretically shown that the information content of all the source signal inputs can be recovered by this novel wireless communication system.

        Synthesis of acetic acid-[(hydrazinylthioxomethyl)thio]-sodium and its application on the flotation separation of molybdenite from galena

        A novel organic compound acetic acid-[(hydrazinylthioxomethyl)thio]-sodium was synthesized andcharacterized. Theflotation performance and adsorption mechanism of AHS to galena were investigatedby micro, benchflotation tests, UV spectra, zeta potential, FTIR and XPS measurements. The resultsdemonstrated that AHS exhibited superior depressing power to galena and could be used as selectivedepressant forflotation separation of molybdenite from galena. The results of UV spectra, FTIR, zetapotential and XPS measurements demonstrated that AHS chemisorb on galena surface by formingfivememberedcheat ring with releasing of H ions. Therefore, the possible adsorption mode of AHS on galenasurface was recommended.

      • A New Ambiguity Elimination Method for BSS Block Signals in Time Domain

        This paper deals with the ambiguity problem of blind source separation (BSS) in the case where continuously received mixture signals are split in time and processed block by block. Due to the inherent permutation and scaling ambiguities of BSS, tying the separated components at each adjacent time blocks doesn’t recover the original source signals correctly in general. Inspired by the Permutation Method of reconstructing source signal blocks in time domain, a new ambiguity elimination approach is proposed in this paper. This method aims to concatenate the separated components in adjacent blocks by artificially setting contrast blocks for each adjacent time blocks. The core idea of this method is to utilize the associativity between components recovered from contrast blocks and corresponding adjacent blocks. Compared with Permutation Method, the main advantage of this new method consists in the fact that it is much more efficient in terms of separation quality and computational speed. Besides, a tradeoff can be adjusted between separation quality and computational speed by choosing different length of contrast blocks. Real-life experiments are performed to validate the performance of this method on the wireless communication system with two transmitting and receiving antennas.

      • A generalized cycle counting criterion for arbitrary multi-axial fatigue loading conditions

        <P>In this article, a generalized cycle counting criterion applicable for both uniaxial and arbitrary multi-axial loading conditions is presented. This criterion consists of two parts: (1) an effective fatigue damage parameter definition in either stress or strain space and (2) a fatigue cycle definition corresponding to maximum damage possibly attained by the fatigue damage parameter within a given loading history. After discussing its mathematical and mechanics basis, we first provide a rigorous proof that the proposed generalized cycle counting criterion yields exactly the same results as the rainflow counting method under uniaxial variable amplitude loading conditions. Then, its applications in multi-axial fatigue are demonstrated by presenting a series of closed-form solutions of both the fatigue damage parameter and number of cycles for a general harmonic loading history of three independent traction stress components on a crack plane. The validity of the new generalized cycle counting criterion is demonstrated by its ability to correlate available fatigue test data in the literature. These new developments also provide a more refined physical and mechanics basis for the recently proposed path length–based cycle counting method developed by the same authors for performing cycle counting of variable amplitude multi-axial loading histories.</P>

        중국 고대 연회주 문화의 주구특성 융합연구 - 오대와 송대의 ‘인물화’를 대상으로 -

        본 연구에서는 중국의 특색 있는 두 개의 왕조 오대(五代)와 송나라(宋代)를 선택했다. 본 연구의 목적은 중국 오대(五代)부터 송나라(宋代)까지의 연회주문화에 대한 술 도구의 특성 연구를 통해 연회주 문화의 ‘예’ 제 문화와 술 도구의 특성을 찾아 당대(当代) 연회주 문화에서 술 도구의 융합과 혁신의 길을 찾는 것이다. 연구 방법은 문헌조사법과 그래픽 데이터 분석법이 있다. 문헌조사법을 응용하여 오대(五代)와 송나라(宋代)의 시대성, 사회성과 경제성, 연회주문화와 술 도구의 특성을 각각 연구하였으며 그래픽 데이터 분석법을 응용하여 오대(五代) 고굉중(顾闳中)의 <한희재야연도>(韩熙载夜宴图) 제1단과 송나라(宋代) 조길(赵佶)의 <문회도>(文会图)를 연구하고 연회사용자를 중심으로 유가의 ‘예’ 제 문화를 결합해 ‘인물화’에서 사용자의 신분, 성별, 형태, 술 도구와 공간을 각각 그래픽 데이터로 분석해 데이터를 도출하고 고대 연회주 문화의 특성에 대한 데이터를 요약한다. 결론은 두 가지가 있다. 첫째, 연회주 문화에서 술 두구의 등급은 사용자의 사회 계급 등급에 따라 구분되며 ‘대잔(台盏)’과 ‘반잔(盘盏)’의 순이다. 둘째, 중국전통 유가 문화의 ‘예’ 제를 엄격하게 전승하여 연회에서 사용자의 좌석은 등급에 따라 주인, 귀빈 및 부차적인 하객 순으로 ‘사주문화’ 를 전승하였다. 결론에 의하면 술 도구의 융합 혁신에는 세 가지가 있다. 첫째, 연회주 문화의 술 도구에 잠재되어 있는 ‘예’ 제문화의 내포이다. 둘째, 시대의 술 도구 문화와 민족적 특색을 보여주는 것이다. 셋째, 신소재, 신공예, 새로운 생활 방식을 응용한다. This study chooses the Five Dynasties and the Song Dynasty with Chinese characteristics. The purpose of this study is to find out the "ritual" culture and wine set characteristics of banquet wine culture and to find out the way of integrating and innovating wine set in the contemporary banquet wine culture through the study of the wine set characteristics of the banquet wine culture from the five dynasties to the Song Dynasty. The research methods include literature survey and image data analysis. The literature survey method is used to study the characteristics of the Five Dynasties and Song Dynasty, including the time, society, economy, banquet wine culture and wine set characteristics. The application of image data analysis has been used to study the first paragraph of the Five Dynasties Gu Hong’s Han Xizai Evening Banquet and the Song Dynasty Zhao Ji’s Wen Hui Picture. Taking banquet users as the center and combining with the Confucian "ritual" culture, the analysis and demonstration of image data are carried out on the identity, gender, form, drinking equipment and space of the users in the "figure painting" respectively, to obtain data and summarize the data on the characteristics of ancient banquet wine culture. There are two conclusions: (1) The ranking of wine set in the banquet wine culture is classified according to the social class of the users, which is respectively "table cup" and "dish cup"; (2) The "ritual" system of traditional Chinese Confucian culture is strictly inherited. In the banquet, users are seated according to the hierarchy of hosts, distinguished guests and secondary guests, and the "wine giving culture" is inherited. According to the conclusions, there are three innovations in wine culture: (1) The connotation of "ritual" culture hidden in the wine culture of banquet; (2) The display on the wine set culture and ethnic characteristics of the era; (3) The application of new materials, the new technology and the new way of life.

        다화(茶畫)에 나타난 중국 당, 송 대의 차 문화 융합 생활방식에서의 차 가구 특성 비교

        본 연구는 중국 당대와 송대의 고대 차 문화 생활방식의 차 가구 특성에서 시작되었다. 본 연구의 목적은 중국 인물에 관련한 도면을 연구하는 것이며, 당대의 궁락도 (宮樂圖), 춘연도(春宴圖), 죽차도(煮茶圖), 소익증란정도(蕭翼贈蘭亭圖), 조금차명도 (調琴啜茗圖)와 송대의 위로박고도(圍爐博古圖), 낸차도 (攆茶圖), 라한도(羅漢圖), 회창구로도(會昌九老圖), 착색인물도(著色人物圖)의 차문화 생활방식을 분석을 하는 것이다. 따라서 본 논문의 연구방법은 문헌 조사법과 영상데이터 분석법을 사용하였다. 이중 문헌조사법은 당대와 송대의 시대성, 사회성, 경제성과 차 문화의 생활방식, 차 가구의 특성을 연구하고, 연구기준을 도출하고, 이미지 데이터 분석법 및 연구기준을 적용한다. 차 문화 생활속에 나타난 사용자를 중심으로 연구된 당대와 송대 차에 관한 그림 10장을 분석했으며 차 문화 생활방식의 6가지 기준을 도출하였다. 그 기준은 바로 사용자, 차의 모양, 차 마시는 방식, 차의 형태, 차의 공간, 차의 가구 등 6가지이다. 기준에 따라 당대와 송대의 다화(茶畵)의 내용을 분석하여 요약해낸 결과 및 차의 문화 생활방식에 있어서 차 가구의 융합적인 공동성을 표현한 가구종류는 침구, 좌구, 도구 및 선반이다. 차의 기능, 구조, 형식과 사용자의 특성을 정리한다. 그의 결과가 바로 당대와 송대의 독특한 매력을 가져있으며, 현대 차 가구 디자인에도 혁신적인 아이디어와 계시를 제공하였다. 연구결과 및 내용은 다음과 같다. 차 가구 디자인은 혁신에 있어서 두 가지 변화가 필요하다. 하나는 당, 송 차 문화의 생활방식 중 차 가구의 특성을 근거로 당대의 과학기술 혁신에 맞추어 설계하여 전통 속에서 변화를 추구한다. 둘째는 당대의 과학기술을 접목해 혁신적 디자인을 하고, 전통 밖에서 새로운 것을 찾는 것이다. This study deals with the characteristics of the ancient style of tea furniture from the Tang and Song dynasties. The purpose of this study is to analyze the lifestyle of tea culture in the Tang Dynasty’s “Gongyue”, “Spring Banquet”, “Tea Cooking”, “Xiao Wing Gift Pavilion”, “Zipping the Plum and Sipping the Name” and Song Dynasty’s “Bogu Tu”, “Rohan Tu”, “Haichang Guro Tu”, and “Color Painting”. In this paper, the paper studies the content of tea ware between the literature investigation and the image data analysis method, and concludes that the tea culture of the Tang Dynasty and Song Dynasty was based on the tea culture of the Tang Dynasty and Song Dynasty, and the tea culture of the Song Dynasty. Summarize the function, structure, form and user characteristics of tea ware.In conclusion, the unique charm of tea ware in Tang and Song dynasties was displayed, and it also provided new ideas and inspiration for the design of modern tea ware design.The design of tea furniture requires innovation andinnovation. One is the design of tea furniture based onthe characteristics of the Tang and Song dynasties teaculture, and the other is the design of tea furniture in the Tang and Song dynasties tea culture.

        Development and verification of PWR core transient coupling calculation software

        In PWR three-dimensional transient coupling calculation software CORCA-K, the nodal Green's function method and diagonal implicit Runge Kutta method are used to solve the spatiotemporal neutron dynamic diffusion equation, and the single-phase closed channel model and one-dimensional cylindrical heat conduction transient model are used to calculate the coolant temperature and fuel temperature. The LMW, NEACRP and PWR MOX/UO<sub>2</sub> benchmarks and FangJiaShan (FJS) nuclear power plant (NPP) transient control rod move cases are used to verify the CORCA-K. The effects of burnup, fuel effective temperature and ejection rate on the control rod ejection process of PWR are analyzed. The conclusions are as follows: (1) core relative power and fuel Doppler temperature are in good agreement with the results of benchmark and ADPRES, and the deviation between with the reference results is within 3.0% in LMW and NEACRP benchmarks; 2) the variation trend of FJS NPP core transient parameters is consistent with the results of SMART and ADPRES. And the core relative power is in better agreement with the SMART when weighting coefficient is 0.7. Compared with SMART, the maximum deviation is -5.08% in the rod ejection condition and while -5.09% in the control rod complex movement condition.

        Characterization of Electrostatic Force for Scanning Electrostatic Force Microscopy of Micro-structured Surface

        This paper presents the electrostatic force characterization of a prototype scanning electrostatic force microscope (SEFM) system developed for surface profile measurement in noncontact condition. In the SEFM system, with applying a dual height method, the distance between the probe tip and the sample surface can be accurately obtained by removing the influence of the electric field distribution on the sample surface. Since the electrostatic force is greatly influenced by the capacitance between the probe tip and the sample surface, a new approach for modeling and characterization of the distribution of capacitance between the probe tip with an arbitrary shape and the sample surface with a random topography by using the finite difference method (FDM) is proposed. The electrostatic forces calculated by the FDM method and the conventional sphere-plane model are compared to verify the validity of the FDM method. The frequency shift values measured by the experiment are also compared with the simulation results calculated by the FDM method. It has been demonstrated that the electrostatic force between arbitrary shapes of the probe tip and the sample surface can be well calculated by the FDM.

        Mechanical Properties and VOC Emission of Hemp Fibre Reinforced Polypropylene Composites: Natural Freezingmechanical Treatment and Interface Modification

        In this study, the effects of natural freezing-mechanical treatment and interface modification on the mechanicalproperties and VOC emissions of hemp fibre-reinforced polypropylene composites were investigated. To evaluate theinfluence of natural freezing-mechanical treatment on fibres and composites, several tests were performed. Natural freezingmechanicaltreatment of HF enhanced the mechanical properties and reduced the VOC emissions of HF/PP compositescompared with untreated composites. After the degumming treatment, HF was treated with urea and KH-550, and themechanical properties of the modified composites were better than those of the unmodified composites. Compared with thetensile strength, flexural strength and impact strength of the unmodified composites, the mechanical properties of the ureamodifiedcomposites were enhanced by 16.45 %, 17.32 % and 13.23 %, respectively; the mechanical properties of thecomposites modified by the coupling agent KH-550 were increased by 19.53 %, 20.40 % and 11.19 %, respectively. The totalVOC emissions of modified HF/PP composites were lower than those of the unmodified composites. The obtained resultsdemonstrated that natural freezing-mechanical treatment is an effective fibre degumming method. Combined with interfacemodification, the composite has the characteristics of low VOC emissions, high strength, and good interface bonding.
