Vol.20 No.1
This study examines how online reviews influence behavioral intentions in the context of the Chinese food delivery applications. In so doing, we test the impacts of price sensitivity and the type of customer membership using the mediated moderation approach which plays an important role in bridging the relationship between the two constructs. We collected a total of 881 usable samples, and then, test our proposed hypotheses using Process Macro. First, our findings show that positive online reviews significantly influence customers’ perceived value. Second, the relationship between online reviews and behavioral intentions is affected by the level of price sensitivity. In particular, for the group of low price sensitivity, when online reviews are positive, behavioral intentions are high. However, for the group of high price sensitivity, when online reviews are positive, behavioral intentions are relatively high. Finally, in the case of high price sensitivity and non-membership customers, when online reviews are positive, perceived value is relatively low.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Mesoporous Cu2O particles with different morphologies were synthesized via simple one-pot reactions. Effects of reducing agents, dispersant, template, and temperature on the <B>structure</B> of the prepared materials were investigated. Mesoporous flower-shaped Cu2O materials were obtained at 70℃ using glucose <B>as a reductant</B>. Different hollow microsphere shapes of Cu2O could be prepared at 40℃ using <B>another type of reductant, ascorbic acid</B>. The results indicated that the uniform morphology of synthesized Cu2O with mesopores presented a maximum specific surface area of 45.3m2/g. Furthermore, the as-prepared Cu2O particles showed good photodegradation efficiencies of methyl orange in the range of 86.0–93.7%, depending on their morphologies.</P>
Using the dependent wild bootstrap for the nonparametric goodness-of-fit test for density functions
Kim, Taeyoon,Park, Cheolyong,Ha, Jeongcheol,Luo, Zhi-Ming,Hwang, Sun Young Taylor Francis 2016 Statistics Vol.50 No.4
<P>In this paper, we consider the well-known nonparametric consistent model-specification test for the stationary density function (see [Ait-Sahalia Y. Testing continuous-time models of the spot interest rate. Rev Financ Stud. 1996;9:385-426; Li Q. Nonparametric testing of closeness between two unknown distribution functions. Econ Rev. 1996;15:261-274; Fan Y, Ullah A. On goodness-of-fit tests for weakly dependent processes using kernel method. J Nonparametric Stat. 2000;11:337-360]) and reinvestigate it carefully using asymptotics and simulation. Our work reveals that the test is subject to power and size distortions, which are mainly caused by dependence or convergence rate changes under the null and alternative hypothesis. A dependent wild bootstrap is newly suggested as a feasible remedy to such distortions. Our result provides a complete explanation as well as a solution to the problem that experienced by Ait-Sahalia [Testing continuous-time models of the spot interest rate. Rev Financ Stud. 1996;9:385-426], that is, that the test rejects true models too often when independent and identically distributed asymptotic critical values are used.</P>
