Electronic devices as well as electronic packaging technology have required higher speed, I/O capability, and density. To meet these requirements, flip-chip solder bumps interconnection combined with reflow assembly process has been a widely used. In spite of the many advantages of flip-chip solder bump joints, there is a limitation for less than 100 mu m fine pitch interconnection due to the solder bump bridging during the assembly process. Therefore, nonconductive films (NCFs) and Cu pillar/Sn-Ag microbump interconnection become a promising interconnection solution for fine pitch assembly. However, NCFs technology has some problems for flip-chip assembly. Epoxy-based NCF can easily absorb moisture, causing delamination reliability problem at moisture environment. In order to solve the interconnection, the NCF adhesion should be enhanced. Silane coupling agent (SCA) was added to NCFs to secure the microbump joint reliability for chip-on-board assembly by increasing the adhesion strength in the pressure cooker test. After the humidity test, the NCFs' modulus and Tg were increased by adding SCA content. Moreover, the measured adhesion strength and energy showed similar results after the humidity test that higher SCA content showed high adhesion strength and energy than lower SCA content and unmodified NCF at the interface between NCF and solder resist of the printed circuit board substrate. The bump joint lifetime of 5wt% SCA NCF was longer than 1wt% SCA and unmodified NCF after the humidity test. In this paper, we report results of our investigations on effects of employing SCA in NCF composition for improved moisture resistance.

Vol.1 No.1
This study calls the new type of ethnography as ethnotelling. Ethnotelling is a mixed research method of ethnology and storytelling. As a condition of ethnotelling, it is essential for ethnotelling to have research local area within a regional boundary. The process of ethnotelling contains fieldwork, building materials as the ethnography step, and determining typology of the storytelling step, and as well as, investigating and building regional cultural resources to create cultural values. By giving the example of using this new method, this study highlights three points of the ethnography tool. First, ethnotelling must lively describe the spot. Second, ethnotelling should contain diversities. Third, ethnotelling should have narratives. Especially, this study describe Hwanggol village located in Gumdan of Incheon, Korea.

Purpose : This study aims to analyze the effect on SCM performance according to the level of modularity of the parts and cooperative factors, focusing on the perspective of the cooperative relationship between the automotive industry and the primary and secondary parts suppliers. Research design, data, methodology : This study received 202 sample surveys from primary and secondary parts suppliers in the auto parts industry based in South Gyeongsang Province and Changwon, and conducted a regression analysis to determine the impact on SCM performance among parts suppliers. Results : According to the analysis between modularization and SCM performance, SCM performance is higher than that of all or primary component suppliers if secondary component suppliers utilize modularity. Conclusions : Hypothesis I was the only factor that had a positive relationship with the performance of the SCM. Hypothesis II showed significant information technology utilization factors in both low and high levels of modularity as a result of analysis of all partners.

Kim, Seil,Gong, Gyeongtaek,Min Woo, Han,Kim, Yunje,Um, Youngsoon Microbiology Society 2016 International journal of systematic and evolutiona Vol.66 No.-

A Gram-negative, catalase-positive, mesophilic, obligately aerobic bacterium designated JRM2-1(T) was isolated from forest soil of Jirisan Mountain, Republic of Korea, and its taxonomic position was investigated based on a polyphasic taxonomic approach. Cells of strain JRM2-1(T) grew optimally at pH 5.0-7.0 and at 25 degrees C. Strain JRM2-1(T) was susceptible to chloramphenicol, gentamicin, kanamycin, nalidixic acid, rifampicin, streptomycin and tetracycline. On the basis of 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity, the closest neighbour of strain JRM2-1(T) was Burkholderia rhizosphaerae WR43(T) (98.1 %). On the basis of our phylogenetic analysis, strain JRM2-1(T) is clearly distinguished from related species of the genus Burkholderia and is clustered with plant-associated members of the genus. The major cellular fatty acids were C-16 : 0, C-17 : 0 cyclo and C-19 : 0 cyclo omega 8c. The polar lipid profile of strain JRM2-1(T) contained diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylethanolamine, several unidentified aminolipids and an unidentified aminophospholipid. The isoprenoid quinone of strain JRM2-1(T) was Q-8 and the DNA G + C content was 63.7 mol%. On the basis of our polyphasic taxonomic investigation, strain JRM2-1(T) is considered to represent a novel species in the genus Burkholderia, for which the name Burkholderia jirisanensis sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is JRM2-1(T) (=AIM 0373(T) =KCTC 42072(T) =JCM 19985(T)).

For cost-effective lignocellulosic biofuel/chemical production, consolidated bioprocessing (CBP)-enabling microorganisms utilizing cellulose as well as producing biofuel/chemical are required. A novel strain Paenibacillus sp. CAA11 isolated from sediment was found to be not only as a cellulose degrader under both aerobic and strict anaerobic conditions but also as a producer of cellulosic biofuel/chemicals. Paenibacillus sp. CAA11 secreted cellulolytic enzymes by its own secretion system and produced ethanol as well as short-chain organic acids (formic acid, acetic acid, lactic acid) from cellulose. Cellulolytic activity of the strain was significantly enhanced by expressing a heterologous endoglucanase 168Cel5 from Bacillus subtilis under both aerobic and anaerobic conditions. The strain harboring the 168cel5 gene revealed 2-fold bigger halo zone on Congo-red plate and 1.75-fold more aerobic cellulose utilization in liquid medium compared with the negative control. Notably, under anaerobic conditions, the recombinant strain expressing 168Cel5 consumed 1.83-fold more cellulose (5.10 g/L) and produced 5-fold more ethanol (0.65 g/L) along with 5-fold more total acids (1.6 g/L) compared with the control, resulting 2.73-fold higher yields. This result demonstrates the potential of Paenibacillus sp. CAA11 as a suitable aerobic and anaerobic CBP-enabling microbe with cellulolytic production of ethanol and short-chain organic acids.
