        Korean Learners’ L2 Performance in Syntax-Semantics interface : Chinese Wh-Words as Existential Polarity Words

This study aims to test applicability of the Interface Hypothesis (Sorace & Tsimpli, 2006) in L2 through investigating L2 acquisition of Chinese Wh-Words as Existential Polarity Words (hence force EPWs) by L1 Korean speakers. The present study compares the results of the acceptability judgment test of Chinese EPWs between learner group and native speaker group to investigate 1. Are the interface properties concerning Chinese EPWs and their licensors acquirable by Korea-speaking learners of Chinese? 2. If not, what are the linguistic or non-linguistic effects which cause the interface breakdown? The results show that L2 Chinese learners are unable to establish a complete semantics-syntax relationship with the EPW embedded in the sentence, even at the final state of L2 acquisition. And the results also show that L2 Chinese acquisition is not linear development.

      • 전력계통에 있어서 무효전력 최적배분을 위한 유전알고리즘 응용

        This paper presents a method for optical dispatch which minimizes transmission losses and improves voltage profile of power systems using genetic algorithm based on the mechanism of natural genetics and natural selection. The constraints are VAR sources(transformer tap, generator voltage magnitude and shunt capacitor/reactor), load bus voltages and generator reactive power. Real variable-based genetic algorithms which can save coding times and maintain the accuracy are applied for optimal dispatch of reactive power. The genes of genetic algorithm consists of integers for considering discrete VAR sources. The algorithm proposed can apply to problems for large scale power systems with multi-variables and complex nonlinear functions efficiently. The proposed method is applied to IEEE 30 buses model system to show its effectiveness.

      • 전력계통의 전압안전운용에 관한 연구

        전력계통의 확장과 부하의 중가에 따라 전압안정도와 전압붕괴는 더욱 문제시 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 전압안정도 지표의 동향을 조사하고 계통을 효율적으로 감시할 수 있는 새로운 전압안정도 지표를 제시한다. 부하가 중가함에 따라 계통의 전체 무효 전력손실은 서서히 증가한다. 따라서 계통의 변화를 감시하는 지표로서 무효전력손실을 사용한다. 이 지표를 모의계통에 적용하여 효용성을 검토한다. With the increased loading and exploitation of the power transmission system, the problem of voltage stability and voltage collapse attracts attention. This paper investigates the tendency of the voltage stability index and presents new voltage stability index monitoring power systems effectively. When load increases, the total reactive line loss increases continuously. Accordingly, this paper uses total reactive power loss as voltage stability index to monitor power system The performance of the new index is confirmed by simulations for sample systems.

        노인 인구에서 신경인지기능저하와 혈청 지질농도와의 상관성

        Objectives : In this study, the authors evaluated the correlation between eurocognitive impairments and serum lipids levels among Korean elderly over the age of 65. Methods : A total of 609 elderly individuals participated in this study. Screening for cognitive impairments were carried out using the Mini-Mental Status Examination-Korean version (MMSE-KC). There were 197 subjects above 1.5SD Of MMSE- KC and they were evaluated using the Korean versions of the Consortium to Establish a Registry for Alzheimer's Disease (AD) (CERAD-KC) and Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS-K). Results : There was a correlation between old age/low levels of education and AD (p<0.05, P<0.01). There was an inverse correlation between the serum level of total cholesterol and the word list recognition test scores. The serum levels of LDL cholesterol were inversely correlated with the scores on the constructional praxis test, word list recall test and word list recognition test. Inverse correlations between the serum level of triglyceride and scores on the word list recall test and word list recognition test were also observed. Conclusion : There were inverse correlations between the serum levels of lipids and language/memory function in subjects with AD.

        This paper presents an approach which classifys more accurately clusters for the data sets being different size cluster. We have more degree of membership to the large cluster and less degree of membership to the small cluster by the size of cluster. In the proposed algorithm, the internal data in the average intracluster distance was given the degree of membership more than 1. So we assume the data is proper. FCM is given the degree of membership depends on the distance between data and the center of cluster. But in the proposed algorithm, the center searching was improved about different size cluster by giving the degree of membership using the distance from each data to intracluster.

        This paper proposes a method to select contingency ranking in power systems. Based on system operator's experience and knowledge, the membership function of fuzzy set theory is justified describing linguistic representation with heuristic rules and global severity index for each contingency is computed using fuzzy inference. Contingency ranking harmful to the system is formed by the index for security evaluation. The effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated by contingency ranking of model system.

        유색미를 첨가하여 제조한 유과의 품질

        Yukwa was prepared with the glutinous rice by the addition of different ratio of pigmented rice (0, 3, 5, 7, 10%) and were steeped for 7 days at 20℃. No significant differences were found among the samples when the textural properties of Yukwa dough and base were measured using a texture analyzer. But the crispness was decreased with the increase of the addition level of pigmented rice. The redness (a value) and yellowness (b value) of the dough and Yukwa base were increased and the lightness (L value) was decreased as the addition levels increased. The expansion rate of Yukwa was decreased with the increase of addition levels. The overall acceptability of Yukwa prepared with the addition of 7% pigmented rice was the best in the sensory evaluation.

        타액 오염하에서 수복방법에 따른 컴포머의 미세누출에 관한 연구

        소아 환자의 인접면 우식을 치료할 때 컴포머는 불소를 방출하는 재료로 유용하게 사용될 수 있다. 하지만 구강내 환경은 항상 습윤한 상태로 타액은 컴포머와 치질 사이의 접착을 방해할 수 있다. 수복시에 타액이 게재하게 되면 미세누출이 발생할 가능성이 높아지게 되며 그로 인해서 수복의 실패가 일어날 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 컴포머를 수복할 시에 타액의 영향과 수복 방법에 따른 미세누출 정도를 평가하기 위해서 시행하였다. 컴포머로서 Dyract AP^(®)(Dentsply. Germany)를 사용하였으며 Dentin bonding agent로는 Prime and Bond^(®) NT (Dentsply, Germany)를 사용하였고. 광중합을 위해서 Elipar Trilight (3M ESPE, USA)를 사용하였다. 구강내 환경을 재현하기 위해서 saliva pool을 제작하였다. 소구치 2개를 인접하여 시편을 제작한 후에 2급 와동을 형성하여 수복 환경을 다르게 하여 컴포머를 충전한 후에 500회 thermocycling하였다. 그 후 0.5% methylene blue용액에 24 시간 동안 담근 후에 실체 현미경을 통해서 교합면과 치은면에서의 미세누출 정도를 측정하였다. Kruskal-Wallis Test와 Mann-Whitney Test를 이용하여 각 군간 유의성을 검정하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 교합면에서의 각 군간 통계학적 차이는 없었다(p>0.05). 2. 치은면에서 Oraseal^(®)을 이용하여 수복한 3군이 타액 오염을 시키지 않은 4군과 통계학적 차이가 없었다(p>0.05). 3. 치은면에서 1군과 2군 사이에는 통계학적 차이가 없었다(p>0.05). 4. 치은면에서 Oraseal^(®)을 이용하여 수복한 3군이 1,2군보다 통계학적으로 더 낮은 미세누출 정도를 보였다(p<0.05). Compomer that release fluoride could be used on proximal caries of child effectively. But oral cavity is always wet, so saliva inhibits bonding of tooth and compomer. When the saliva exist on bonding, it can be occured microleakages. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the influence of salivary contamination on compomer restoration and degree of microleakage according to restoration methods. Dyract AP^(®) and prime and bond^(®) NT was applied by the manufacture s instructions. Elipar Trilight was applied for light curing. Saliva pool was made for reconstruction of oral cavity. Two premolar was embedded in acrylic resin. After class II cavity preperation, Dyract AP^(®) was restored under several condition, the specimen was thermocycled 500 times with 30 second dwell time. 0.5% methylene blue was used for microleakage test. Micoleakage was measured by the ratio of the infiltration length to occlusal and gingival side interface. Data were analyzed statistically using Kruskal Wallis Test, Mann-Whitney Test. The Result were as follows; 1. In occlusal side, there were no statistical differences. 2. In gingival side, there were no statistical differences in Group III(ContactMatrix^(TM), Rubber dam, Oraseal^(®), Group IV (No saliva contamination). 3. In gingival side, there were no statistical differences in Group I(ContactMatrix^(TM)), II(ContactMatrix^(TM), Rubber dam). 4. In gingival side, there were statistical differences in Group I(ContactMatrix^(TM)), II(ContactMatrix^(TM), Rubber dam).

        전시프로그램을 고려한 우리나라 박물관과 미술관의 스페이스 프로그램 비교 연구 : 전시 및 수장공간을 중심으로 Focused on Exhibition Spaces and Storage Spaces

        This study aims to compare, analyze, the architectural characteristic, especially focused on exhibition spaces and storage spaces, of history museum and art museum, and propose reasonable architectural planning of history museum and art museum considering their exhibition program. For these purposes, firstly, concepts and existing conditions(in Korea) of history museum and art museum were considered, secondly, through cases study of existing history museum and art museum, common things and differences of them in the exhibition spaces and storage spaces were presented, and finally, architectural characteristics and planning directions of history museum and art museum was discussed. Results of this study are as follows 1) The differences of architectural space in exhibition spaces and storage spaces between history museum and art museum was analyzed to be mainly caused by differences between exhibition and management programs 2) Total floor area ratio between permanent exhibition spaces and special exhibition spaces was proposed to be '4 1' in the cases of history museum, '3 2' in the cases of art museum 3) In the cases of history museum, Storage floor ratio was proposed to be 10% of total floor area, or 1/3 of exhibition floor area, while in the cases of art museum, it was proposed to be 75% of total floor area, or 1/5 of exhibition floor area
