Purpose: The goals of this study are to evaluate the effect of duodenojejunal bypass (DJB) for type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients below body mass index (BMI) 25 kg/m² in one year follow-up, and to compare the results of 1 week which we have reported in 2011. Methods: In this prospective observational study, there were 31 type 2 diabetic patients who underwent DJB at Inha University Hospital from July 2009 to January 2011. We did laboratories such as 75-g oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT), insulin level and hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c), etc. and compared their changes of preoperative, a week, 3 months, and 12 months. Results: Mean BMI was 23.1 ± 1.3 kg/m², mean duration of T2DM was 8.3 ± 4.7 and mean age was 46.6 ± 7.7 years. There were a significant decrease of 75-g OGTT levels and increase of insulin secretion after 3 months. 13.3% showed diabetic remission (HbA1c < 6.0, medication cessation) and 26.7% showed diabetic improvement. The rates of remission and improvement much declined comparing with that of postoperative 1 week although those were determined by fasting and postprandial 2 hour level of glucose. Conclusion: This is the first study of metabolic surgery in Korean diabetes patients in the healthy weight range. DJB exerted positive influences on insulin resistance as well as beta cell function. Early effects on T2DM after DJB could be estimated as one of good modalities, although the effectiveness seems to be unacceptable. Further studies are mandatory for evaluation of the effectiveness of metabolic surgery and finding prognostic factors.

In order to understand the power line channel characterization, the power line impedance analysis measurement system which was designed by calculating the impedance and measuring the magnitude and the phase that was induced a specific frequency to the indoor power line. The power line impedance measurement control system was composed of embedded control which was the NI PXI system. The data acquisition and analysis was accomplished by the LabVIEW graphic engineering program. For the I V measurement an induced signal was used for the - reference power line signal which was designed for the 10dB power amplifier. For the current and voltage detection of the induced signal, it is used a current transformer (Peason Electronics, 2877). Components of an inductor as well as a capacitor are distributed to indoor power line as a result of measurement by the EMI removal filter for electric appliance's power. Especially, the capacitor having frequency ranges from 90KHz to 120KHz used for indoor power line communications are distributed.

명령형 언어로 작성된 프로그램에 대한 정적 분석을 효과적으로 수행하는 방법을 제시한다. 흐름을 고려하면서 분석 할 때, 일부의 계산만이 분석 결과를 만들어내는 데 이바지한다. 주어진 입력 메모리로 어떤 명령문을 계산할 때 입력 메모리의 일부만 계산에 사용하고, 계산의 결과는 입력 메모리에서 일부만 변경된 값이기 때문이다. 또한, 변경된 값이 다시 계산에 사용되기까지 불필요한 값의 전달을 수반한다. 이 논문에서는 가벼운 전분석을 통해 불필요한 계산들을 미리 찾아내어 계산에서 제외하는 방법을 제시한다. 상용화된 요약해석 기반 분석기에 이 기법을 적용하고 10개의 오픈 소스 프로그램에서 실험한 결과 분석속도가 평균 65배 빨라졌다. 또한, 최근에 제안된 필요한 정보만 가지고 계산하기 기법을 적용한 결과에 비해서도 분석속도가 평균 16배 빨라졌다.
AI-guided Story Generation Framework with Automatic Storyline Generator

A story generation task is to develop a system that can continuously generate natural, consistent, and coherent stories for consecutive scenes. Recently transformer-based language models have shown considerable results at the sentence-level generation for learning human-writing ability. However, it is very crucial to understand the way of developing the story using a combination of various contents. Recent works have mainly focused on human-guided AI story generation methods in which humans as guidance determine the next storyline, and the system creates a story that reflects the storyline well. This study focuses on the way of replacing the human role with the AI-based model. Based on this, this study deals with the methodology for creating a long story spanning multiple scenes rather than creating a story at the level of one scene. In this regard, we propose a novel AI-guided story generation framework with automatic storyline generator. It is a pipeline structure consisting of two modules such as a storyline generator and a story generator, which enables the continuous creation of coherent stories. Particularly, we transform the storyline generation problem into a multiple-choice QA problem to predict the next storyline. This study shows the possibility of generating continuous stories for multiple scenes without any human intervention.

디지털 방사선 검출기의 주된 연구동향은 영상의 해상도 향상, 대면적화, 동영상 구현 등… 이라 할 수 있다. 이런 연구는 방사선 변환과정에 따라 크게 직접변환 방식과 간접 변환 방식으로 나눌 수 있으며 각각 고유한 장단점을 내포하고 있다. 간접변환 방식의 경우 형광체의 사용으로 인한 Light scattering 문제로 해상력의 저하 그리고 직접방식의 경우는 낮은 system 안정성과 동영상 구현의 어려움 등이 대표적이라 할 수 있다. 이런 문제를 해결하기 위한 연구로써 액정을 이용한 엑스선 검출기 연구가 진행되었으나 그 구조의 특성상 균일한 액정의 주입이 어려워 제작에 있어 많은 어려움이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존의 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 구조를 제안하고 이를 Simulation 통해 제안된 구조의 가능성을 검토해 보았다. The trend of Digital x-ray Detector research is to improve resolution of image and to embody large area imaging as well as dynamic moving imaging, etc. This research is divided with indirect conversion method and direct conversion method by radiation conversion process. Each conversion method has problems such as decrease of resolution from light scattering in indirect method case and not only low system stability but also difficult in dynamic moving imaging in direct method case. X-ray detector using liquid crystal has been researching to solve these problems, but it is difficulty in uniform injection of liquid crystal because of its structural properties. Therefore, this study suggests the structure which solves present problem. Also the possibility of suggested structure was investigated using simulation.

Purpose: Long-term results following bariatric surgery compared to conventional treatments has never been reported in morbidly obese Korean patients. This study aimed to evaluate the long-term efficacy of bariatric surgery in morbidly obese Korean patients compared to conventional medical treatments. Methods: In this multicenter retrospective cohort study, we reviewed 137 obese subjects between January 2008 and February 2011 with a body mass index (BMI) > 30 kg/m2 who had more than 5 years of follow-up clinical data after bariatric surgery (surgery group, n = 49) or conventional treatment (conventional treatment group, n = 88). Anthropometric data and the status of comorbidities were compared between the 2 groups. Results: The median follow-up period was 72.1 months (range 19.3–109.7 months). At the last follow-up, the surgery group showed a greater amount of total weight loss than the conventional treatment group (24.9% vs. 2.8%, P < 0.001). The prevalence of diabetes and hypertension significantly decreased in the surgery group, while the conventional treatment group showed a marked increase in these comorbidities. In the surgery group, Roux-en-Y gastric bypass and sleeve gastrectomy achieved comparable long-term weight loss (26.5% vs. 22.4%, respectively; P = 0.087). Conclusion: In the long-term, bariatric surgery achieved and maintained significantly greater weight reduction, as well as a decrease in obesity-related comorbidities, than did conventional medical therapy in morbidly obese Korean patients
