      • Illumination Invariant Chinese Chessboard Reconstruction Based on Color Image

        Jianjun Fang,N.Kondo,Jiying Yin,Xiuhong Liu,Kexian Xiao 제어로봇시스템학회 2009 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2009 No.8

This paper introduces a new approach based on binarized Gabor filters and Hough transform to reconstruct Chinese chessboard by computation. Firstly, Gabor transform is performed directly on an original color image of chessboard to obtain Gabor filters in which only interested lines are kept by selecting appropriate parameters. Secondly, Gabor filters image is binarized and thinned and then lines are detected by Hough transform. Thirdly, a binarized Gabor filters’image is affine rectified and three parameters which dominate reconstruction of chessboard are measured and coordinates of any crossing points in the chessboard can be calculated based on priori information and measured data. Finally, experiments have been conducted to verify illumination invariant feature of proposed approach. Results reveal that this new approach is more robust to illumination change. Comparing to conventional method, it is obviously superior and has been applied in a robust machine vision system for Chinese chess playing robot.

Experimental and Modeling Analysis of Hydrogen Motion Behavior in Welding Zone of 2.25Cr–1Mo–0.25 V Steel Welded Joint with Hydrogen Corrosion

        Changdong Yin,Dongdong Ye,Zhou Xu,Jianjun Chen,Yiwen Wu,Houli Liu,Xin Ge,Qiang Liu,Guiling Zeng 대한금속·재료학회 2023 METALS AND MATERIALS International Vol.29 No.8

Understanding and solving the problem of hydrogen damage due to the degradation of service performance of high-strengthsteel caused by hydrogen penetration is a milestone for the reliability improvement of high-end hydrogen energy equipment. From the perspective of microscopic hydrogen movement behavior, this study investigated the permeability of hydrogenin base metal (BM) and welded metal (WM) of 2.25Cr–1Mo–0.25 V steel welded joint through electrochemical hydrogenpermeation test, and the analytical models of hydrogen penetration and hydrogen diffusion in the welding zone were established, and the effect of adding hydrogen-resistant coatings (HRCs) on hydrogen movement behavior in steel substrate wasstudied. The results showed that the diffusivity of hydrogen in WM of the welded joint was significantly lower than thatin BM, and the hydrogen concentration in BM was higher than that in WM at the beginning of hydrogenation without theaddition of HRCs protection, while it tended to be consistent at the later stage. However, the hydrogen concentration in WMwas lower than that in BM after adding HRCs and would be always higher than that in BM after a certain period of time, and the difference was directly related to the hydrogen resistance of the coatings. Additionally, the difference between theintermediate and outer layers for the welding zone steel substrate with and without HRCs presented a trend of rapid increasefollowed by a slow decrease. These findings could provide an important reference value for hydrogen damage protectionmeasures and related researches on HRCs.

Effects of Lower Dietary Lysine and Energy Content on Carcass Characteristics and Meat Quality in Growing-finishing Pigs

        Zhang, Jinxiao,Yin, Jingdong,Zhou, Xuan,Li, Fengna,Ni, Jianjun,Dong, Bing Asian Australasian Association of Animal Productio 2008 Animal Bioscience Vol.21 No.12

Fifty-four PIC barrows were used to evaluate the effects of lower dietary lysine content and energy level on carcass characteristics and meat quality in slaughter pigs. Pigs were allotted to one of three treatments by body weight with six replicate pens in each treatment. The dietary treatments for body weights of 20-50 kg, 50-80 kg and 80-90 kg were as follows, respectively: control diet (digestible energy 14.22 MJ/kg, lysine/DE 0.67 g/MJ, 0.53 g/MJ and 0.42 g/MJ); a low lysine group (digestible energy 14.22 MJ/kg, lysine/DE 0.49, 0.38 and 0.30 g/MJ); and a low lysine-low energy group or low nutrient group (digestible energy 13.11 MJ/kg, lysine/DE 0.49, 0.38 and 0.30 g/MJ). The daily weight gain, daily feed intake and feed efficiency were calculated in the overall growth period (nearly 12 weeks). Meanwhile, carcass characteristics and meat quality were evaluated at 60 and 90 kg body weight respectively. During the overall growth trial, lowering dietary lysine and nutrient level both decreased weight gain (p<0.05) and feed efficiency (p<0.01). At 60 kg body weight, decreasing dietary lysine and nutrient level noticeably decreased dressing percentage (p<0.01) and back fat depth at last rib of PIC pigs (p<0.01), but enhanced marbling scores (p<0.10), intramuscular fat content (p<0.10) and water loss rate (p<0.01) of the longissimus dorsi muscle. At 90 kg body weight, lean percentage (p<0.01) was evidently reduced by both lowering lysine content and nutrient level in the diet. However, the shoulder back fat depth (p<0.05) and marbling scores of the loin eye muscle (p<0.05) were increased; Lowering dietary nutrient level could improve back fat depth of 10th rib (p<0.01) and last rib (p<0.01), intramuscular fat content (p<0.10), redness (p<0.01) and water loss rate of the loin eye muscle (p<0.05), but decrease loin area (p<0.05). Finally, when comparing the 60 kg and 90 kg slaughter weights, it was found that the shoulder back fat depth (p<0.01, p<0.10), 6th-7th rib (p<0.01, p<0.01), 10th-rib (p<0.01, p<0.01) and last rib back fat depth (p<0.01, p<0.01) of the low lysine and low nutrient group were all obviously increased comparing with the control group. Taken together, the results showed that decreasing dietary lysine content and nutrient level increased intramuscular fat content and water loss rate of longissimus dorsi muscle; On the other hand, both lowering dietary lysine and nutrient level markedly compensated to increase back fat deposition in the later finishing period (body weight from 60 to 90 kg) in contrast to the control group.

Controlled self-assembly of low-dimensional Alq3 nanostructures from 1D nanowires to 2D plates via intermolecular interactions

        Jianmin Gu,Baipeng Yin,Shaoyan Fu,Cuihong Jin,Xin Liu,Zhenpan Bian,Jianjun Li,Lu Wang,Xiaoyu Li 대한금속·재료학회 2018 ELECTRONIC MATERIALS LETTERS Vol.14 No.2

Due to the intense influence of the shape and size of the photon building blocks on the limitation and guidance of opticalwaves, an important strategy is the fabrication of different structures. Herein, organic semiconductor tris-(8-hydroxyquinoline)aluminium (Alq3) nanostructures with controllable morphology, ranging from one-dimensional nanowires to twodimensionalplates, have been prepared through altering intermolecular interactions with employing the anti-solvent diffusioncooperate with solvent-volatilization induced self-assembly method. The morphologies of the formed nanostructures, whichare closely related to the stacking modes of the molecules, can be exactly controlled by altering the polarity of anti-solventsthat can influence various intermolecular interactions. The synthesis strategy reported here can potentially be extended toother functional organic nanomaterials.

Trajectory Learning and Reproduction for Tracked Robot Based on Bagging-GMM/HSMM

        Lu En,Zhao Zhan,Yin Jianjun,Luo Chengming,Tian Zhongming 대한전기학회 2023 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.18 No.6

Learning and reproducing the tracked robot’s demonstration trajectory is a promising intelligent path planning solution that can summarize and extract the relevant characteristics of the tracked robot’s desired trajectory. However, the existing methods are difficult to ensure the robustness when there are deviations in the demonstration trajectory data or when the task constraints are added. In order to address the problem, this paper proposes a novel trajectory learning and reproduction method for tracked robots that is based on Bagging algorithm and GMM/HSMM. The Bagging algorithm is used to randomly resample the demonstration trajectory data and construct the sub trajectory data sets. Then, GMM/HSMM is used to train and learn these sub trajectory data sets, and the output probability density function of the hidden state and the Gaussian component with the largest average position probability are selected as the motion elements. According to the mean and variance of these motion elements, the least square method is used to reconstruct the tracked robot’s trajectory. On the basis of using the IPSO algorithm to optimize the position of constraint points in each sub trajectory data sets, combined with the weight method, the learning results are integrated to realize the trajectory reproduction of a tracked robot under task constraints. The final results and analysis show that the proposed method can successfully realize the trajectory learning and reproduction of tracked robot, as well as ensure that the reproduced trajectory can pass through the required task constraint points without increasing the algorithm’s complexity.

Investigation of the optimal fabrication of a single-carrier encapsulated fucoxanthin based on colloidal nanoparticles

        Xin Zhang,Minghao Fan,Yongkai Yuan,Jianjun Dong,Hua Yin,Yang He,Lei Mao,Dongfeng Wang,Junhong Yu 한국공업화학회 2022 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.114 No.-

Fucoxanthin (FX) is a carotenoid with antioxidant, anti-obesity, anti-diabetic, anti-cancer and antibacterialactivities. It is poorly water soluble and highly sensitive to light, heat and the surrounding environment. Therefore, how to effectively encapsulate it and stabilize it for entry into the human body hasbecome a key research question at present. This study developed a single-carrier to encapsulate FX andshowed excellent characterization results. The experimental results showed that the diameters of FX-ZHparticles prepared by the four encapsulation processes ranged from 143.83 to 216.93 nm. Comparison ofantioxidant activity and stability to temperature and pH of the four complexes showed significant differences, with the best performance of the nanoparticles prepared using water-soluble method and a slowspeedstirrer. The nanocomplexes were proved to be more stable and more bioavailable, with a significant34.41% increase in FX content relative to free FX in the intestinal phase. Inhibition of human leukaemiacells HL-60 cells remained high, with 11.14% ± 6.03% inhibition at FX concentrations of 1 lg/mL. Thisstudy encapsulated FX based on colloidal nanoparticle systems for the first time using a single-carriermaterial, an innovation and breakthrough that could simplify the experimental steps and provide thenecessary basis for industrial realization.

Meta-analysis identifies multiple loci associated with kidney function??related traits in east Asian populations

        Okada, Yukinori,Sim, Xueling,Go, Min Jin,Wu, Jer-Yuarn,Gu, Dongfeng,Takeuchi, Fumihiko,Takahashi, Atsushi,Maeda, Shiro,Tsunoda, Tatsuhiko,Chen, Peng,Lim, Su-Chi,Wong, Tien-Yin,Liu, Jianjun,Young, Terr Nature Publishing Group, a division of Macmillan P 2012 Nature genetics Vol.44 No.8

Chronic kidney disease (CKD), impairment of kidney function, is a serious public health problem, and the assessment of genetic factors influencing kidney function has substantial clinical relevance. Here, we report a meta-analysis of genome-wide association studies for kidney function??related traits, including 71,149 east Asian individuals from 18 studies in 11 population-, hospital- or family-based cohorts, conducted as part of the Asian Genetic Epidemiology Network (AGEN). Our meta-analysis identified 17 loci newly associated with kidney function??related traits, including the concentrations of blood urea nitrogen, uric acid and serum creatinine and estimated glomerular filtration rate based on serum creatinine levels (eGFRcrea) (P < 5.0 ? 10??8). We further examined these loci with in silico replication in individuals of European ancestry from the KidneyGen, CKDGen and GUGC consortia, including a combined total of ??10,347 individuals. We identify pleiotropic associations among these loci with kidney function??related traits and risk of CKD. These findings provide new insights into the genetics of kidney function.
