Since the emergence of layered two-dimensional materials, the development of methods for their large-scale synthesis has become crucial for integrating these materials into existing fabrication processes. In this study, we report the synthesis of a NiTe 2 single crystal on the near-centimeter scale using the molten salt fl ux method (MSFM). The single-crystal nature of the synthesized NiTe 2 sample was confi rmed using X-ray diff raction analysis, while its chemical characteristics were analyzed using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, which confi rmed Ni–Te chemical binding. The layered structure of the ingot was confi rmed using Raman spectroscopy; two prominent signals were observed, at 84 and 138 cm −1 , which were consistent with the in-plane vibrational mode, E g , and out-of-plane vibrational mode, A 1g . In addition, analyses performed on diff erent fl akes confi rmed the structural uniformity of the single crystal, as only a small variation in the peak-to-peak position of the full width at half maximum was observed. Using Kelvin probe force microscopy, the electronic structure of the NiTe 2 multilayered surface was investigated to determine its surface work function, which was found to be 4.4–4.8 eV. A back-gate fi eld-eff ect transistor was fabricated using the single-crystal NiTe 2 to evaluate its semimetallic characteristics; the transfer characteristic of the NiTe 2 FET, determined by applying a back-gate bias, showed weak gate voltage dependence and linear I–V characteristics, in keeping with the linear I D -V D output characteristics. Therefore, the synthesis of NiTe 2 via the MSFM should facilitate the integration of layered materials with existing fabrication processes for the mass production of electronic devices.

본 연구는 부러움, 질투, 지각된 제품품질, 제품태도의 네 가지 변수를 사용하여 부러움 혹은 질투가 지각된 제품품질에 미치는 영향을 알아보 고 지각된 제품품질이 제품 태도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 본 연구는 시나리오 기반 실험 디자인을 사용하여 가설 검증이 이루어졌다. 이를 위해 177명의 경영학과 수업을 듣는 대학생들을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였으며, 구조방정식 모형을 이용하여 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 부러 움은 지각된 제품품질에 정의 효과를 가지는 반면, 질투는 지각된 제품품질에 부의 효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 지각된 제품품질과 제 품태도 간에 정의관계가 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 소비자들은 선망을 느낀 후 제품의 품질을 다르게 평가하기 때문에 선망은 지각된 제품품질 에 중요한 요소로 고려될 수 있다. 부러움은 긍정적 제품 평가와 관련이 있는 반면 질투는 부정적인 제품평가와 관련이 있다. 따라서 마케터들은 이런 선망효과를 기반으로 제품 구매의도를 증가시킬 수 있는 광고를 개발하여야 할 것이다. This research defines four constructs of envy, benign envy, malicious envy, perceived product quality, and product attitude. This experimental study used scenario-based experimental design research method to verify the hypotheses. The data obtained from 177 undergraduate students taking business courses in Korea were analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modeling (SEM). The results showed that benign envy had positive effect on perceived product quality while malicious envy had negative effect on perceived product quality. Furthermore, perceived product quality had positive effects on product attitude. Envy appeared to have a significant effect on perceived product quality, as consumers evaluated the product quality differently after they felt envious. Benign envy was further associated with a positive evaluation of a product while malicious envy was associated with a negative product evaluation. Marketers can use envy theory in advertisements to increase purchase intentions.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate sales managers' strategic focus on customer acquisition, specifically its effect on salespeople's performance. In addition, this study aimed to determine how salespeople's interpersonal skills, salesmanship skills, and technical knowledge affect the relationship between customer-acquisition management and salespeople's performance. Research design, data, and methodology: This study conducted a survey of 310 salespeople working at pharmaceutical companies. A structural equation modeling approach was applied to test the main effects and interaction effects using AMOS. Results: The results indicated that both managers' customer-acquisition orientation and salespeople's salesmanship skills and technical knowledge positively affected the latter's performance. Further, it was found that the higher the technical knowledge of the salesperson, the greater the effect of the customer-acquisition orientation on sales performance. Conclusions: Sales managers should enable salespeople to quickly acquire technical knowledge with respect to the market, products, competitors, and company policy so that they can bring greater synergy to the customer-acquisition orientation.

<P>DNA-based small molecules of guanine, cytosine, thymine and adenine are adopted for the charge injection layer between the Au electrodes and organic semiconductor, heptazole (C<SUB>26</SUB>H<SUB>16</SUB>N<SUB>2</SUB>). The heptazole-channel organic field effect transistors (OFETs) with a DNA-based small molecule charge injection layer showed higher hole mobility (maximum 0.12 cm<SUP>2</SUP> V<SUP>−1</SUP> s<SUP>−1</SUP>) than that of a pristine device (0.09 cm<SUP>2</SUP> V<SUP>−1</SUP> s<SUP>−1</SUP>). We characterized the contact resistance of each device by a transfer length method (TLM) and found that the guanine layer among all DNA-based materials performs best as a hole injection layer leading to the lowest contact resistance. Since the guanine layer is also known to be a proper channel passivation layer coupled with a thin conformal Al<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB> layer protecting the channel from bias stress and ambient molecules, we could realize ultra-stable OFETs utilizing guanine/Au contact and guanine/Al<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB> bilayer on the organic channel.</P>
