An Investigation on Leisure Needs for Bicycle Lane using Two-Dimensional Quality Model
Ya-Fen Lee,Yun-Yao Chi 세계문화관광학회 2010 Conference Proceedings Vol.11 No.0
This paper aimed at investigating the leisure motivation and bikers needs for bicycle lane. A total of 219 questionnaires from bikers are surveyed, in which 186 questionnaires are valid. The Kano‘s (1984) model is used to obtain key elements of biker‘ needs to bicycle lane. The analysis results show that the major motivation to ride a bicycle is “stimulus-avoidance” and the least motivation is “Social”. The most quality elements of leisure needs belong to one-dimensional elements. And flare equipment at night and lavatory installation have a higher priority of improvement to meet bikers needs.
Validating a Repeat Visit Model to Historical Temple by Structural Equation Modeling
( Ya Fen Lee ),( Yun Yao Chi ) 한국문화관광학회 2009 문화관광연구 Vol.11 No.2
This paper is attempted to model the tourists` repeat visit inclination for historical temple according to itself critical properties and religious motivation. The numbers of 450 questionnaires were investigated in sites of Tainan Grand Matus (TGM) temple and Taintan temple in Tainan, Taiwan. Using the data, the hypothesized paths were test with a structural equation modeling (SEM) approach by the LISREL procedure. The construct and indicators of the SEM were measured by 18 items embodying religious motivation, satisfaction, and revisit inclination. Total satisfaction contained three indicators: (1) activity; (2) culture; and (3) landscape. The results show that the proposed SEMs of TGM temple and Taintan temple are accepted as the best models.
Histogram-based Reversible Data Hiding Based on Pixel Differences with Prediction and Sorting
( Ya-fen Chang ),( Wei-liang Tai ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2012 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.6 No.12
Reversible data hiding enables the embedding of messages in a host image without any loss of host content, which is proposed for image authentication that if the watermarked image is deemed authentic, we can revert it to the exact copy of the original image before the embedding occurred. In this paper, we present an improved histogram-based reversible data hiding scheme based on prediction and sorting. A rhombus prediction is employed to explore the prediction for histogram-based embedding. Sorting the prediction has a good influence on increasing the embedding capacity. Characteristics of the pixel difference are used to achieve large hiding capacity while keeping low distortion. The proposed scheme exploits a two-stage embedding strategy to solve the problem about communicating peak points. We also present a histogram shifting technique to prevent overflow and underflow. Performance comparisons with other existing reversible data hiding schemes are provided to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed scheme.

Dynamic Variation of Some Matter Related to Cold Resistance in Medicago sativa under Chilling Stress
Ya Tao,Qi-zhong Sun,Zhu Yu,Shu-fen Zhao 한국초지조사료학회 2009 한국초지조사료학회 학술대회논문집 Vol.2009 No.08
In this study, we determinated the dynamic changing of soluble sugar, total nitrogen and malondialdehyde, so t㏊t found out their relationships with cold resistance. The result indicates: the content of soluble sugar and total nitrogen increased from late autumn and early winter, and kept higher level during the entire winter, then decreased in regreen time in the next spring. The content of malondialdehyde was high in Sep., then decreased gradually and reached the minimum in Jan., thereafter the content of malondialdehyde represented increasing trend.

Background/Aims Increasing evidence shows involvement of psychological disorders in functional dyspepsia (FD), but how psychological factors exert their influences upon FD remains largely unclear. The purpose of the present study was to explore the brain-based correlations of psychological factors and FD. Methods Based on Fluorine-18-deoxyglucose positron emission tomography-computed tomography, the altered cerebral glycometabolism was investigated in 40 FD patients compared with 20 healthy controls during resting state using statistical parametric mapping software. Results FD patients exhibited increased glucose metabolism in multiple regions relative to controls (P < 0.001, family-wise error corrected). After controlling for the dyspeptic symptoms, increased aberrations persisted within the insula, anterior cingulate cortex (ACC), middle cingulate cortex (MCC) and middle frontal cortex (midFC), which was related to anxiety and depression score. Interestingly, FD patients without anxiety/depression symptoms also showed increased glycometabolism within the insula, ACC, MCC and midFC. Moreover, FD patients with anxiety/depression symptoms exhibited more significant hypermetabolism within the above 4 sites compared with patients without anxiety/depression symptoms. Conclusions Our results suggested that the altered cerebral glycometabolism may be in a vicious cycle of psychological vulnerabilities and increased gastrointestinal symptoms.

In this study, banana biochar (BB) and cassava biochar (CB) were roasted in a tube furnace at 400℃ for 2 h, and their adsorption effects on malachite green (MG) were studied. The removal of MG with respect to the solution concentration and reaction time was also investigated. The results show that the optimal amount of biochar is 2 g/L. Studies of the adsorption kinetics and adsorption isotherms show that the pseudo-second-order kinetics can most accurately reflect the adsorption process. Freundlich model fits the experimental data well. The theoretical saturated adsorption capacities of BB and CB are 1,092.80 mg/g and 261.42 mg/g, respectively. SEM-EDS, TGA, BET, FTIR, XRD, element analysis and other characterization techniques were used to explore the adsorption mechanism. Based on the characterization results, it is speculated that the adsorption of BB and CB for MG mainly includes chemical adsorption and physical adsorption.
