Effect of High Dietary Carbohydrate on the Growth Performance, Blood Chemistry, Hepatic Enzyme Activities and Growth Hormone Gene Expression of Wuchang Bream (Megalobrama amblycephala) at Two Temperatures

        Chuanpeng Zhou,Xianping Ge,Bo Liu,Jun Xie,Ruli Chen,Mingchun Ren 아세아·태평양축산학회 2015 Animal Bioscience Vol.28 No.2

The effects of high carbohydrate diet on growth, serum physiological response, and hepatic heat shock protein 70 expression in Wuchang bream were determined at 25°C and 30°C. At each temperature, the fish fed the control diet (31% CHO) had significantly higher weight gain, specific growth rate, protein efficiency ratio and hepatic glucose-6-phosphatase activities, lower feed conversion ratio and hepatosomatic index (HSI), whole crude lipid, serum glucose, hepatic glucokinase (GK) activity than those fed the high-carbohydrate diet (47% CHO) (p<0.05). The fish reared at 25°C had significantly higher whole body crude protein and ash, serum cholesterol and triglyceride, hepatic G-6-Pase activity, lower glycogen content and relative levels of hepatic growth hormone (GH) gene expression than those reared at 30°C (p<0.05). Significant interaction between temperature and diet was found for HSI, condition factor, hepatic GK activity and the relative levels of hepatic GH gene expression (p<0.05).

Consensus Tracking of Second Order Multi-agent Systems with Disturbances under Heterogenous Position and Velocity Topologies

Xuxi Zhang,Xianping Liu 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2018 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.16 No.5

In this paper, the consensus tracking problem of second order multi-agent systems with disturbance is studied under heterogenous position and velocity topologies. The cases that the disturbances are generated from linear exosystems and nonlinear exosystems are considered, respectively. For achieving consensus, linear disturbance observer and dynamic-gain-based nonlinear disturbance observer using only the velocity information of the agents are proposed, and then control protocols and sufficient conditions for solving the consensus problem are given. Finally, simulation examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed disturbance observers and control protocols.

A method of multiple transport-aircraft mission modeling is proposed in order to improve the efficiency of evaluating and optimizing pre-mission plans. To deal with the challenge of multiple transport-aircraft missions, the object-oriented modeling method is utilized. The elements of the mission are decomposed into objects and businesses, And the major mission objects and their important properties are summarized. A complex mission can be broken down into basic business modules such as the ground section and flight section. The business models of loading and fueling services in the ground section are described. The business model of the flight section is composed of an air route and flight profile with the flight equation and the fuel consumption model. The logical relationship of objects and business modules is introduced. The architecture of the simulation system, which includes a database, computation module, graphical user interface (GUI) module, and a result analysis module, is established. A sample case that includes two different plans is provided to verify the model's ability to achieve multi-aircraft composite mission simulation.

Correlation analysis of surface tilt effect on its mechanical properties by nano-indentation

Lei Wang,Xianping Liu 한국정밀공학회 2019 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol.20 No.3

In this study, finite element analysis and nano-indentation experiments were carried out to investigate the effect of surface tilt on the nanoindentation test results. This paper revealed that standard Oliver–Pharr method underestimated the contact area due to the influence of the tilt condition. Consequently, it is necessary to compensate this difference to ensure that the result is reliable. The finding was verified by the nano-indentation experiments on a sinusoidal surface sample, which is used for the study of correlation between surface topography and its mechanical properties. A corrective action was implemented to compensate the errors by finite element analysis. By eliminating such errors, the study of the relationship between surface topography and mechanical properties was performed and discussed.

Adsorption behavior of metal oxides (CuO, NiO, Ag2O) modified GeSe monolayer towards dissolved gases (CO, CH4, C2H2, C2H4) in transformer oil

Yingang Gui,Zhicheng Liu,Chang Ji,Lingna Xu,Xianping Chen 한국공업화학회 2022 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.112 No.-

In this study, the adsorption behavior of CuO-GeSe, NiO-GeSe, and Ag2O-GeSe towards the main dissolvedgases CO, CH4, C2H2, and C2H4 in transformer oil was systematically studied based on DFT. The adsorptionstructure, band structure, density of states, deformation charge density, and molecular orbit were analyzedto explore the interaction between the modified monolayers and gases. The results show thatthe adsorption of the four target gases on pristine GeSe belongs to weak physical adsorption. Metal oxidesmodification improves the conductivity of GeSe, and the formation of numerous triangular structuresmakes the modified substrates hard to deform during gas adsorption. Due to the poor gas sensitivityand extremely short recovery time of CH4 on CuO-GeSe, NiO-GeSe, and Ag2O-GeSe, these three modifiedstructures are not suitable to be used as a material for detecting CH4. The conductivity of MO-GeSechanges in different degrees after adsorbing CO, C2H2, and C2H4. The gases can be detected accordingto the different change rule of conductivity upon adsorption. In addition, gas desorption from the substratecan be achieved by controlling the temperature. This study provides a theoretical basis for theapplication of gas sensors used in DGA.

Rapid Predictions for Lower-Order Dynamics of Machine Tools Based on the Rigid Multipoint Constraints

Yiwei Ma,Yanling Tian,Xianping Liu 한국정밀공학회 2023 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol.24 No.3

This study presents a rapid predicting method for lower-order dynamic performances of machine tools. Firstly, the governing equation of motion of the component substructure is obtained drawing on the dynamic condensation from the finite element analysis. Secondly, employing the rigid multipoint constraints at the joint and interface level, the improved reduced dynamic model of component substructures is formulated, resulting in a minimum set of generalized coordinates for external nodes. Then, utilizing the screw theory, the local stiffness mapping between joint and interfaces is illustrated. This is followed by merging the component and joint substructures, resulting in the reduced dynamic model of the entire machine tool. The proposed model is hugely efficient for predicting the distributions of dynamic performances within the entire workspace and guiding the optimal functional design under the framework of virtual machine tools. Finally, a comparison study on a box-in-box type precision horizontal machine tool shows that the lower-order dynamics predicted within the proposed approach have the same trend as those obtained by a complete order finite element model. The experimental modal analysis test shows that the errors of natural frequencies between the proposed model and experiments are lower than 15.61%, demonstrating the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed model.
