        Reduction of Energy Comsumptiuon and Thermal Deformation in WEDM by Magnetic Field Assisted Technology

        Energy consumption and machining accuracy are considered to be two important attributes of performance indicators for green operations of wire electric discharge machining (WEDM). However, there is a paucity of studies that focus on the energy consumption and geometric error caused by thermal deformation. In this paper, a hybrid technique of WEDM with assisted magnetic field (MF) is proposed for enhancing machining performance to reduce energy consumption and thermal deformation. Based on the principles of thermal deformation, energy consumption, and magnetic field-assisted WEDM, a set of experiments is conducted to investigate thermal deformation and energy consumption of MF-assisted WEDM and conventional WEDM machining of Inconel 718. The effects of magnetic field on thermal deformation, discharge waveforms, surface integrity, and energy consumption are analyzed, and it is concluded that the proposed hybrid technique of MF-assisted WEDM offers numerous advantages and potential for applications in the green precision manufacturing field.

        The influence of the perceived value of product pages information of online tea shop on consumers' purchase intention

        Nowadays, with the development of the internet and e-commerce, opening tea shops online has become an increasing choice for selling tea. However, the product page information of many online tea shops cannot effectively attract consumers, resulting in their profits being compromised. To investigate this, we conducted this paper and hope to provide effective suggestions. This paper is based on 229 questionnaires and selects the product page information of online tea shops as the research object. Using the four dimensions of perceived value theory as independent variables with consumer purchase intention as the dependent variable. A structural equation model was constructed to analyze the role of the perceived value of product page information in online tea shops how influencing consumers' purchase intentions. It was found that information on the perceived functional value of online tea shops did not have a significant positive effect on consumer purchase intentions. However, information on the perceived monetary value, perceived social value, and perceived emotional value of online tea shops had a significant positive impact on consumers' purchase intentions. Based on the above conclusions, online tea shops should focus on the expression of product page information to enhance the level of consumers' perceived value of tea products, thereby enhancing their intention to purchase tea products.

        Voxel-Based Geometry Reconstruction for Repairing and Remanufacturing of Metallic Components Via Additive Manufacturing

        In the component repair process using additive manufacturing (AM) technique, reconstructing the repair volume is essential to generate the repair tool path and guide the AM system to deposit correct geometry on the worn parts. In this study, a novel repair volume reconstruction methodology based on voxel modeling was introduced. At first, the stereolithography (STL) models of the nominal and damaged components were acquired either from computer-aided design (CAD) modeling or through robot-aided 3D scanning. The pre-machining approach was introduced to guarantee the defective zone is accessible to repair tools. The damaged models were aligned with the nominal models by best-fitting their common convex-hull centroids. After that, these STL models were converted to voxel models using the Marching Cube algorithm. The accuracy of the transferred voxel models was investigated by comparing them with the exact geometry. Boolean operations algorithm based on constructive solid geometry was proposed to extract the repair volume by comparing the nominal and damaged voxel models. The Boolean operations can output both the repair volume that is missing from the damaged parts which should be restored by AM and the excess geometry which should be removed by subtractive machining. The proposed approach was implemented on three CAD models and three scanned models. The repair volumes for these damaged parts were successfully reconstructed. Three components were repaired via the directed energy deposition AM process. Finally, the bonding performance between the deposited layers and base parts was evaluated via tensile testing.

        Sonication-Assisted Synthesis of Molybdenum Disulfide Aerogel for the Electrode Materials of Supercapacitors

        The sonication processing was added in front of the freeze-drying as an intermediate processing before the molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) aerogel was synthesized. It is distinguishing with the traditional hydrothermal reaction to combine the sonication processing and freeze-drying in our method. The structure, morphology, specific surface area and pore size distribution were characterized, and the electrochemical performances were measured in 0.5M Na2SO4 electrolyte for the MoS2 aerogel and flower-like MoS2. As for comparison, they are of porous structure and microsphere structure, and their specific surface areas are 55.14 m2 g -1 and 38.12 m2 g -1. The specific capacitances are 166.7 F g -1 and 119.2 F g -1 at the scan rate of 5 mV s -1, and the capacity retentions are 87.7% and 81.6% after 3000 charge/discharge cycles. For the enhanced mechanism, the high specific surface of the MoS2 aerogel causes high specific capacitance, and the unique porous structure could buffer volume expansion to improve retention ability during charge/discharge processes. The MoS2 aerogel may thus be a promising electrode material for supercapacitors.

        Dynamic Performance of a Novel Prefabricated Curling Ice Rink: Human Locomotion Load Measurement and FE Simulation Analysis

        A novel prefabricated curling rink supported by steel frame and precast concrete blocks has been tested by the 2019 China Youth Curling Open, and that will be responsible for the Beijing Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympics curling competitions in 2022. Due to quite limited researches on the mechanical properties of this professional curling venue, the dynamic behavior of the prefabricated rink under human activities are not well understood. In particular, people and curling stones are potentially more susceptible to the ice vibrations when compared to the traditional curling rink constructed on rammed foundation. Small ice rink vibrations caused by the human locomotion load can make athletes feel uncomfortable, which could affect competition experience, techniques, and skills of the occupancies. At the same time, it can also result in a slightly change of the curling stone trajectories, which ultimately caused the athletes to adopt an erroneous strategy. In order to get a further understanding of the above problems, this paper conducts a series of performance studies based on the 3D finite element model built in ABAQUS and the measured dynamic loads. In this context, it includes the research of on-site measurement of dynamic loads caused by different types of human locomotion on ice sheet, which can provide a reference to the dynamic performance design of prefabricated curling rink supported by similar structural systems. Moreover, the time and amplitude parameters of the footfall forces are extracted to analyze and be compared with the human induced loads results from the existing research, generally obtained on the concrete surface. Then, on the base of the finite element model verified by experiment, the experimental achieved loads are applied for the dynamic analysis to study the vibration acceleration and velocity response of ice sheet. Finally, the vibration response results, including peak acceleration (PA), vibration dose value (VDV), root mean square acceleration (RMS), as well as root mean square velocity were evaluated according to the regulations proposed by the International Olympic Committee and the vibration evaluation standards suggested by AISC design guide, ISO guideline, and VC curves. The analysis results indicate that innovation prefabricated curling ice rink supported by steel-concrete composite floors can meet the requirements of the event and has the prospect of promotion and application.

        Paridis Saponins Inhibiting Carcinoma Growth and Metastasis In Vitro and In Vivo

        Paris polyphylla Smith var. yunnanensis extracts, Rhizoma Paridis saponins (RPS) have been found to show strong antitumor activity. However, few studies have yet investigated pulmonary metastasis treatment with this herb. To detail the effective components in RPS and discuss the preliminary mechanism of antitumor effects in vivo and in vitro, a mixture isolated from RPS was investigated. The main constituents were identified as polyphyllin D, formosanin C, dioscin, Paris H, Paris VII and pennogennin 3-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl (1→4)-[β-L-rhamnopyranosyl (1→2)]-β-D-glucopyranoside. In our experiments, LA795 cells were exposed to the mixed compounds. Migration inhibition was evaluated by wound healing assay and migration assay in non-cytotoxic dose which was determined by MTT assay. The results demonstrated that the constituent in varying degrees inhibited the migration of the tumor cells in vitro. The mixture also showed antitumor effects on carcinoma in vivo. In conclusion, the mixture is a potent anticancer agent that elicits programmed cell death and inhibits the migration in murine lung adenocarcinoma, both in vitro and in vivo.
