This paper describes dynamic properties and a night control system of an MAY (mini aerial vehicle) hal ing a side-force fin. We are developing a nonlinear model of the MAY through flight/wind tunnel experiments and CFD anal) sis. A linear model is obtained from the current nonlinear model. Using the linear model, we have designed a !light control system (FCS) that controls the altitude, forward speed, roll angle. and heading angle with thrust. elevator. aileron. and the sideforce fin. respectively. The side-force fin produces direct side-force that achieves skid-to-turn without bank in cooperation with the aileron. The FCS is designed as a PID control system, whose gains are determined based on the integral-type optimal servo, Although the design method has theoretically not been established, it provides PID gains via a simple design procedure and its usefulness and effectiveness have been proved through various design examples, Also in this study, computer simulation and analysis demonstrate how the FCS works.

Eye tracking is widely useful in several fields especially in medical field to help human diagnosis and treatment. The proposed of this study is to develop eye tracking system using intensity measurement algorithm and apply into Ophthalmic Operating Microscope. The proposed method has been proved to be accurate, reliable, and stable.

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of niraparib in Japanese women with heavilypretreated ovarian cancer. Methods: This Phase 2 open-label, single-arm study enrolled Japanese women withhomologous recombination deficiency-positive relapsed, high-grade serous ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer who had completed 3–4 lines of therapy. The starting dose of niraparib was 300 mg administered once daily in continuous 28-daycycles until objective progressive disease, unacceptable toxicity, consent withdrawal ordiscontinuation. The primary endpoint, objective response rate (ORR), was assessed bythe investigator using RECIST version 1.1. Safety evaluations included the incidence oftreatment-emergent adverse events (TEAEs), including serious TEAEs. Results: Twenty women were enrolled and the confirmed ORR in the full analysis set (FAS)was 35.0% (7/20), consisting of 1 complete response and 6 partial responses. Diseasecontrol rate in the FAS was 90.0%. The most frequently reported TEAEs (>50%) wereanemia, nausea, and platelet count decreased. One patient (5.0%) had TEAEs leadingto discontinuation of niraparib whereas reductions or interruptions were reported in 14(70.0%) and 15 (75.0%) patients, respectively. The median dose intensity (202.9 mg daily)corresponded to a relative dose intensity of 67.6%. Conclusion: Efficacy and safety of niraparib in heavily pretreated Japanese women wascomparable to that seen in an equivalent population of non-Japanese women. No new safetysignals were identified.Trial Registration: ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier: NCT03759600
DEVELOPMENT OF NEW STITCHING INTERFEROMETRY FOR THE SPICA TELESCOPE

The telescope to be onboard SPICA (Space Infrared Telescope for Cosmology and Astrophysics) has an aperture diameter of 2.5 m and its imaging performance is to be diffraction-limited at a wavelength of 20 μm at the operating temperature of < 8 K. Because manufacturing precise autocollimating flat mirrors (ACFs) with sizes comparable to the SPICA telescope is not technically feasible, we plan to use sub-aperture stitching interferometry through ACFs for optical testing of the telescope. We have verified the applicability of the sub-aperture stitching technique to the SPICA telescope by performing stitching experiments in a vacuum at a room temperature, using the 800-mm telescope and a 300-mm ACF. We have also developed a new method to reduce uncertainties possibly caused by cryogenic and gravitational deformations of ACFs.
The distribution and population status of Quercus myrsinifolia (Fagaceae) on the Korean peninsula
이정현,이동혁,최혁재,Yoshihisa Suyama,Toshiaki Kondo,Yuji Isagi,최병희 한국식물분류학회 2014 식물 분류학회지 Vol.44 No.3
Most evergreen Quercus species are typical, dominant members of Korean evergreen forests. However, little is known about the distribution status of Q. myrsinifolia Blume there. To enhance our knowledge about their natural range in Korea, we conducted field surveys based on specimen records and an extensive literature search. We also determined their exact number as a first step in planning their conservation. The results indicated that these trees are strictly limited to Jin Island, and 169 mature individuals were the maximum number and occurred in only three subpopulations on that island. Previous misidentifications and perhaps mislabeled locations for plant specimens were the main reasons for earlier confusion about distribution. We believe that these results can provide guidance when making specific recommendations for management interventions. These discoveries also demonstrate the value in having reliable information about plant specimens in general. We also speculated about what makes this species particularly vulnerable to local extinction.
