Cooling characteristics of cooling jacket for spindle system with built-in motor are studied. For the analysis, three dimensional model for the cooling jacket is built by using finite volume method. The three dimensional model includes the estimation on the amount of heat generation of bearing and built-in motor and the thermal characteristic values such as heat flux on the boundary. Numerical results show that flow rate are important factors for cooling characteristics of cooling jacket.
허혈성 심질환에 있어서 아데노신 급속 정맥투여후 관동맥압의 변화에 관한 연구

Background: Adenosine interacts with A1 receptors present on the extracellular surface of cardiac cells, activating K+channels in a fashion. It produces coronary vasodilatation and AV nodal block. The half-time is one to six second and has ultra-short action. In ischemic heart disease, fractional flow reserve(FFR) can be achieved safely with intravenous adenosine infusions at a rate of 150㎍/kg/min which cause maximal coronary hyperemia. Purpose: We investigated the patients who have had ischemic heart disease(n=8). After adenosine intravenous administration(150㎍/kg/min), the effect cause maximal hyperemia of coronary artery. During peak maximal hyperemia, we reported clinical findings, coronary hemodynamics and electrocardiogram findings. Methods: After diagnostic coronary angiography and left ventriculography, catheter was advanced into the ostium of coronary artery. We investigated coronary hemodynamics such as systolic coronary artery pressure, diastolic coronary artery pressure, mean coronary artery pressure and heart rate. To assess the use of adenosine for determination of fractional flow reserve, hemodynamics and electrocardiogram were measured at basal state and during peak maximal hyperemia. Results: Symptoms developed 1.5-2 minute after adenosine intravenous administration and each symptom disappeared 2-2.5 minute after adenosine administration. Two patients represented asymptomatic appearance and six patients complained of flushing, chest pain, palpitation and headache. In eight patients with ischemic heart disease, 1.5 minute after venous administration of 150㎍/kg/min of adenosine, coronary artery pressure decreased and heart rate increased significantly. Conduction abnormalities after administration of 150㎍/kg/min of adenosine were transient 2nd degree AV block 2 cases(25%). Conclusions: Adenosine is a potent ultra short-acting vasodilator. Although coronary artery pressure decreased and heart rate increased and mild cardiovascular symptoms occurred after continuous infusion of 150㎍/kg/min of adenosine, it is useful as an agent for determination of fractional flow reserve.
[논문]여러 용매계에서 Poly(vinylidene fluoride) 의 물리적 젤화에 대한 동력학 및 열역학 연구

Poly (vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) 물리 젤은 각 기 다른 조 건 에 서 v-butyrolactone, cyclohexanone, propylene carbonate와 같은 다양한 유기용매에서 형성된다. 첼 녹는점은 시차주사열량계로 측정하였고 젤화 시간은 시험관 틸팅방법을 통해 측정하였다. 임계 젤 농도는 PVDF의 농도와 젤화 속도로 결정되어진다. 본 연구에서는 젤화 속도는 임계 농도를 얻기 위해 구하였다. 젤화 속도는 온도에 높게 의존한다; 젤화 속도는 젤화 시간의 역수로 분석 가능하며/ 젤화는 낮은 농도에서 투명한 젤이 형성되어지는 것과 젤 형성을 위한 엔탈피 변화가 적기 때문에 낮은농도에서 액-액 상분리에 의해 일어난다. 실온에서 천천히 건조시킨 젤 필름을 주사전자현미경으로 관측하였고 젤 필름에서 많은 구정과 연결 분자 들을 관찰하였다.
濕式法에 依한 γ-MnO_2 製造에 關한 硏究(第2報) : Purification of Manganes Oxides by Acid Treatment

Studies on the effect of reaction temperature, reaction time and concentration of acid on the purification of manganese oxides was conducted to manufacture γ-MnO₂ available as dry cell depolarizer by wet process. The results obtained were follows: 1.When oxidized the precipitates of OH ̄/Mn^++ mole ratio 2.2 by aeration at 13℃ for 6 hours, MnO₂content obtained 89.99%, which was identified as crystalline γ-MnO₂by X-ray diffraction analysis. 2. When manganese oxides was treated at 70℃ for 2hrs with 30% H₂SO₄and 30% HNO₃, the highest content, of MnO₂was obtained as 96.90% and 96.60%, respectively, which was identified as crystalline γ-MnO₂by X-ray diffraction analysis and different thermal analysis.
Wavelet 변환을 이용한 단기부하 예측기법에 관한 연구

This paper proposes a novel wavelet transform based algorithm for the seasonal load forecasting. In this paper, Daubechies DB2, DB4 and DB10 wavelet transforms are adopted to predict the seasonal loads and the numerical results reveal that certain wavelet components can effectively be used to identify the load characteristics in electric power systems. The wavelet coefficients associated with certain frequency and tiem localization are adjusted using the conventional multiple regression method and then reconstructed in order to forecast the final loads through a five-scale synthesis technique. The outcome of the study clearly indicates that the wavelet transform approach can be used as an attractive and effective means of the seasonal load forecasting.
