An experimental study of RyO Kit for Covid 19 information sharing in rural islands of Indonesia

Indonesia is among the most suffering countries due to Covid-19 pandemic. The government is still challenged to manage the delivery of Covid-19 related information since many of inhabitants living in rural islands. This aims to offer low cost and simple solution for government in delivering Covid-19 information in rural islands without adequate telecommunications infrastructure. The technical solution is based on Raspberry Pi technology called RyO (Raspberry Outernet) Kit. We examined RyO Kit based on four parameters namely signal strength, signal quality, bit rate and quota. Final results confirmed RyO Kit is appropriate solution to deal with the issue.

본 연구는 심신의 문제에 있어 메를로 퐁티의 해결방안과 퇴계의 자기 수양개념에 있어 그것이 가지는 함의를 알아보는 것이다. 본 연구의 목적은 퇴계가 송학십도(Ten Diagrams on Sage Learning)에서 개념화한 자기수양에 대해 심신의 문제를 위한 메를로 퐁티의 해결방안이 가지는 존재론적, 인식론적, 윤리적인 함의를 살펴보고자 하는 것이다. 나아가서, 이 연구에서는 심신의 문제에 대한 현상학적 해결책이 어떻게 철학적으로 퇴계의 개념에 적용되었는지를 살펴보는 것뿐 아니라, 만일 그것이 퇴계의 자기수양사상에 있어 철학적 문제에 대한 해결책이 아니라면 어떤 방식으로 그와 비교되는 메를로-퐁티의 육체에 대한 비판적 사고가 만들어지게 되었는지를 알아보고자 한다. This study examines Merleau-Ponty's solution to the mind-body problem and its philosophical implications in T'oegye's concept of self-cultivation. The focus of this study is more on the ontological, epistemological, and ethical implications of Merleau-Ponty's phenomenological solution to the mind-body problem for the self-cultivation that was particularly conceptualized by T'oegye in Songhak Shipto (Ten Diagrams on Sage Learning). Moreover, this study is attempted not only to demonstrate how the phenomenological solution of the mind-body problem possible to be applied philosophically in T'oegye's concept, but also how Merleau-Ponty created a critical thought of the body that is comparable, if not a solution to the philosophical problems of T'oegye's self-cultivation thought.

본 논문은 퇴계(退溪) 이황(李滉)의 자기수양(自己修養)이라는 개념을 메를로퐁티(Merleau-Ponty)가 심신의 문제에 대해 제시한 해결책을 통하여 그것이 지닌 철학적 함의를 연구하는 데에 있다. 이러한 목적에서 연구는 성학십도(聖學十圖)에서 퇴계가 정형화시킨 자기수양 개념을 메를로 퐁티가 심신 문제에 대해 제시한 해결책의 존재론적, 인식론적, 윤리학적인 함의를 통해 새롭게 이해 하는 방법을 탐구하고자 하였다. 퇴계의 자기수양의 개념을 심신의 문제에 대해 메를로 퐁티가 제시한 현상학적 해결책을 통해 고찰함은 실로 무한한 철학적 의미를 지니고 있다. 첫째 메를로 퐁티의 실재(實在 reality)에 대한 일원론적시각에 따르면, 퇴계의 실체(實體 substance)와 기능(機能 function)의 이분법적 체계에서의 원리에 대한 설명이라는 존재론적인 이원주의로 귀결된다고 볼 수 있다. 둘째 만약 메를로 퐁티가 감각적 경험 이전에 필요한 조건으로서 우리 자신에 대한 탐색을 정당화했다면, 퇴계는 천리(天理 mindfulness)를 인간의 본연(本然)의 특성으로 보기 때문에, 철리를 자기수양을 정진시킴에 있어 필수불가결한 정수(精髓)로서 강조하고 있다. 셋째 메를로 퐁티의 ‘내재화(內在化)된 자아(自我)’라는 개념을 통해 살펴볼때, 퇴계가 ‘ ren(人)’과 인간의 본성에 대한 비평을 통해 제안했던 것이 자아와 타자(他者)는 서로 분리된 것이 아님을 주장했다고 볼 수 있다. 그러므로 퇴계에 따르면 도덕적 수양에서 가장 중요한 것은 인간의 물질적 본성으로서의 인욕(人慾)을 변형시키고, 인간 자신의 본성으로서의 천리(天理)를 이행할 수 있는 잠재성이라는 것이다. 이러한 의미에서 퇴계는 인간성의 개선(改善)을 위한 인간 자신의 잠재성에 그 누구보다도 더 깊은 신뢰를 가졌다고 말할 수 있다.

The Fraud Gone Model and Political Connection - Distribution Approach

Purpose: This research aims to analyze the influence of greed, opportunity, need, exposes on fraudulence financial reporting by using the distribution of political connections as a moderating variable. Research design, data, methodology: Using data collected from 180 respondents who were leaders involved in financial reports in state-owned companies and manufacturing companies in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Data analysis using SEM PLS. Results: The results of this research show that greed, opportunity, need, exposes, political connections have a significant positive effect on fraudulence financial reporting. Political connection is able to moderate greed, need, exposes to fraudulence financial reporting. Furthermore, political connections are unable to moderate the opportunity for fraudulence financial reporting in company. Conclusion: Greed, opportunities, needs, exposes can influence someone to carry out financial fraud reporting in the company because of internal or external factors that cause someone to commit fraud. Every perpetrator of fraud should be subject to punishment or sanctions if proven to have committed fraud. Political connections can influence fraudulent financial reporting due to the potential for intervention and political pressure that can affect the integrity of financial reporting. Political connections are able to moderate greed, need, exposes against fraudulent financial reporting.

Objective This study aims to examine the effect of giving probiotic adjuvant therapy on improving clinical symptoms & IL-6 levels in patients with schizophrenia.Methods This research was a double-blind, placebo-controlled trial conducted at Dadi Psychiatric Hospital, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia in November–December 2021. The sample of the research was patients with schizophrenia undergoing hospitalization who received therapeutic doses of risperidone with a total of 21 samples in each treatment and control group. Research subjects were measured with Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) at baseline, 2nd, 4th, and 6th weeks. The treatment group received one capsule/12 hours/oral of probiotics for six weeks and the control group received 1 capsule/12 hours/oral placebo for 6 weeks. In addition, two measurements of IL-6 using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay were performed in both groups, namely at the beginning of week 0 and the end of the 6th week.Results We found the decrease in the PANSS value which described the improvement in clinical symptoms of the schizophrenic group after receiving therapeutic doses of antipsychotics and probiotic capsules or the treatment group as well as the schizophrenia group receiving therapeutic doses of antipsychotics and placebo capsules or the control group.Conclusion Improvements in clinical symptoms and decreased levels of IL-6 in the group of patients with schizophrenia who received risperidone with probiotic adjuvant therapy were better than in the group of patients with schizophrenia who received risperidone without probiotics as adjuvant therapy.
