Matrix Transformations of Nakano Vector-valued Sequence Space
Suthep Suantai ...et al KYUNGPOOK UNIVERSITY 2000 Kyungpook mathematical journal Vol.40 No.1
In this paper, we give necessary and sufficient conditions for infinite matrices mapping Nakano vector-valued sequence space ℓ(X, p) into the sequence spaces E_(r)(r≥0) and we also give the matrix characterlizations from M_(o)(X, p) into the space E_(r) where p = (pк) is a bounded sequence of positive real numbers such that pк ≤1 for all k∈N.
Frame Vibration Suppression Method for Sensorless PMSM Drive Applications
Suthep, Supharat,Wang, Yankai,Ishida, Muneaki,Yamamura, Naoki,Yubai, Kazuhiro,Komada, Satoshi The Korean Institute of Power Electronics 2016 JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS Vol.16 No.6
This study proposes a novel frame anti-vibration controller for position sensorless PMSM drive application. This controller is called specific component reduction controller (SCRC). SCRC can function without an accelerometer and can achieve speed variable control. This study mainly comprises the following phases. First, the position sensorless control method will be provided. Second, the frame vibration model and load torque ripple will be shown. Third, SCRC will be discussed and its stability will be analyzed. Finally, experimental results show that SCRC can achieve speed variable anti-vibration control and compensate target frequency torque ripple.
Predicting performance of radial flow type impeller of centrifugal pump using CFD
Suthep Kaewnai,Manuspong Chamaoot,Somchai Wongwises 대한기계학회 2009 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.23 No.6
The main objective of this work is to use the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) technique in analyzing and predicting the performance of a radial flow-type impeller of centrifugal pump. The impeller analyzed is at the following design condition: flow rate of 528 m3/hr; speed of 1450 rpm; and head of 20 m or specific speed (Ns) of 3033 1/min in US-Units. The first stage involves the mesh generation and refinement on domain of the designed impeller. The second stage deals with the identification of initial and boundary conditions of the mesh-equipped module. In the final stage, various results are calculated and analyzed for factors affecting impeller performance. The results indicate that the total head rise of the impeller at the design point is approximately 19.8 m. The loss coefficient of the impeller is 0.015 when 0.6 < Q/Qdesign < 1.2. Maximum hydraulic efficiency of impeller is 0.98 at Q/Qdesign = 0.7. Based on the comparison of the theoretical head coefficient and static pressure rise coefficient between simulation results and experimental data, from previous work reported in the literature [Guelich, Kreiselpumpen, Springer, Berlin, 2004], it is possible to use this method to simulate the performance of a radial-flow type impeller of a centrifugal pump.

In this work, we present the notion of an $alpha-beta-psi$-G-proximal contraction in metric spaces endowed with graph. We investigate the existence and uniqueness of best proximity points for this modi ed contractive mapping. The results obtained extended and generalized some fixed and best proximity points results in literature. Examples are given to validate the main results.
Halpern's Iteration for Strongly Relatively Nonexpansive Mappings in Banach Spaces
Suantai, Suthep,Cholamjiak, Prasit Department of Mathematics 2014 Kyungpook mathematical journal Vol.54 No.3
We investigate strong convergence of Halpern's iteration for a countable family of strongly relatively nonexpansive mappings in the framework of uniformly convex and uniformly smooth Banach spaces. Our results extend those announced by many authors.

Bioassay-guided fractionation of the extract of the endophytic fungus KLAR 5 belonging to order Hypocreales, which was isolated from the twig of Knema laurina (Blume) Warb., resulted in the isolation of brefeldin A (1), 8-deoxy-trichothecin (2), trichothecolone (3), 7α-hydroxytrichodermol (4), and 7α-hydroxyscirpene (5). Compound 5 was isolated from natural source for the first time. Compound 1 was very highly active against human epidermoid carcinoma of the mouth, human breast cancer (BC-1), and human small cell lung cancer (NCI-H187) cells whereas compounds 2 and 4 were selectively active against BC-1 and NCI-H187 cells. Compounds 3 and 5 were moderately active against these three cancer cell lines.
Perturbative Traveling-Wave Solution for a Flux-Limited Reaction-Diffusion Morphogenesis Equation
Waipot Ngamsaad,Suthep Suantai 한국물리학회 2020 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.76 No.4
In this study, we investigate a porous medium-type flux-limited reaction--diffusion equation that arises in morphogenesis modeling. This nonlinear partial differential equation is an extension of the generalized Fisher--Kolmogorov--Petrovsky--Piskunov (Fisher-KPP) equation in one-dimensional space. The approximate analytical traveling-wave solution is found by using a perturbation method. We show that the morphogen concentration propagates as a sharp wave front where the wave speed has a saturated value. The numerical solutions of this equation are also provided to compare them with the analytical predictions. Finally, we qualitatively compare our theoretical results with those obtained in experimental studies.
Laparoscopic approach in chronic posttraumatic diaphragmatic hernia
Aisawan Asumpinawong,Suthep Udomsawaengsup 대한내시경복강경외과학회 2022 Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery Vol.25 No.2
Chronic posttraumatic diaphragmatic hernia is an unusual disease with challenging diagnosis and treatment. Surgery represents the treatment of choice which can be transabdominal, transthoracic, or combined approach. The principles of surgery consist of herniated visceral organs reduction and diaphragmatic defect closure. This video demonstrates the steps of chronic posttraumatic diaphragmatic hernia repair via a laparoscopic approach and concerning points during the operation.
