CFD Study Analysis on the Steam Ejector with Varying Turbulence models
Supriyanto Wibowo,Tony Utomo,HanSik Chung,HyoMin Jeong 대한설비공학회 2008 대한설비공학회 학술발표대회논문집 Vol.2008 No.2
CFD analysis has been carried out in this paper. The purpose is to reveal the understanding of flow phenomena inside the ejector on the performance of steam ejector using three well known turbulence models. In this study, the ejector design was modeled using finite area CFD techniques to resolve the flow dynamics in the ejectors. Furthermore, from this study it can be concluded that by employed vary of turbulence models there are different results in pressure distribution, in contour of Mach number and in Entrainment ratio inside the steam ejector.

This study aims were: 1) to know the direct effect of Islamic Leadership on Islamic Performance, 2) to know the direct effect of Empowerment on Innovative Work Behavior, 3) to test the role of Empowerment as mediation the effect of Islamic Leadership on Islamic Performance, 4) to test the role of Innovative Work Behavior as mediation the effect of Islamic Leadership on Islamic Performance. The population was all employees of Bank Jatim Syariah at Surabaya Center Office. It was consisted of Bank Jatim Syariah at Surabaya Branch Office and Kediri Branch Office. Samples were selected by proportional random sampling and data was analyzed by PLS (Partial Least Square). The study had four findings. First, Islamic Leadership has a significant effect on Islamic Performance. Second, Empowerment has a significant effect on Innovative Work Behavior. Third, Empowerment mediates the effect of Islamic Leadership on Islamic Performance. This condition illustrates that employees must be empowered and involved in all organizational processes to improve performance. Forth, Innovative Work Behavior cannot mediate the effect of Islamic Leadership on Islamic Performance. Innovative Work Behavior arises from the individual. It was the individuals desire to introduce their ideas to a group or organization where they work.
Factors Affecting Innovative Work Behavior: Mediating Role of Knowledge Sharing and Job Crafting
Achmad Sani SUPRIYANTO,Agus Eko SUJIANTO,Vivin Maharani EKOWATI 한국유통과학회 2020 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.7 No.11
This study aimed to investigate the influence of spiritual leadership on innovative work behavior and the effect of knowledge sharing on job crafting. Furthermore, the roles of knowledge sharing as a mediator for the impact of spiritual leadership on innovative work behavior, and job crafting as a mediator for the relationship between variables, were also examined. This research employed quantitative analysis, including the PLS-SEM approach; SMART-PLS, a measurement and structural equation model was employed to explain the relationship between variables, and the effect of mediation. The population study consisted of all lecturers at the Faculty of Economics and Faculty of Economics and Business at the PTKIN in East Java, Indonesia, comprising 220 randomly-selected samples. The result showed spiritual leadership does not directly influence innovative work behavior, while knowledge sharing directly affects job crafting. The findings indicated knowledge sharing mediates the impact of spiritual leadership on innovative work behavior, and the role of job crafting as a mediator for the relationship between variables was accepted. Therefore, this research confirms a positive influence of knowledge sharing on job crafting, and indicates both factors play an important role in mediating between variables, and are important for lecturers’ innovative work behavior.
Study on low pressure evaporation of fresh water generation system model
정한식,Supriyanto Wibowo,Berkah Fajar,Yonghan Shin,정효민 대한기계학회 2012 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.26 No.2
A low pressure evaporation fresh water generation system is designed for converting brackish water or seawater into fresh water by distillation in low pressure and temperature. Distillation through evaporation of feed water and subsequent vapor condensation as evaporation produced fresh water were studied; tap water was employed as feed water. The system uses the ejector as a vacuum creator of the evaporator, which is one of the most important parts in the distillation process. Hence liquid can be evaporated at a lower temperature than at normal or atmospheric conditions. Various operating conditions, i.e. temperature of feed water and different orifice diameters, were applied in the experiment to investigate the characteristics of the system. It was found that these parameters have a significant effect on the performance of fresh water generation systems with low pressure evaporation.

The objective of this research was to evaluateenzymatic glycerolysis–interesterification to synthesizestructured lipids (SLs) containing high monoacylglycerol(MAG) and diacylglycerol (DAG) from a palm stearin–olein blend (PS–PO blend). The results showed that theoptimum conditions for the solvent to fat ratio, glycerol tofat ratio, and enzyme concentration were 2:1 (v/w), 1.5:1,and 15% (w/w), respectively. The conversion rate of MAGand DAG decreased at a high glycerol to fat ratio, lowsolvent to fat ratio, and high enzyme concentration due toan increase in viscosity and low agitation effectiveness. The emulsion capacity and stability of the SLs were60.19% and 96.80%, respectively. The hardness of the SLsincreased about 3.1-fold. The MAG, DAG, and triacylglycerolconversion rates were 0.45, 0.48, and 1.02%/h,respectively. Thus, glycerolysis–interesterification of a PS–PO blend increased DAG and MAG concentrations andfurther improved the hardness, emulsion capacity, andemulsion stability of the SLs.

Background: Serum Osteoprotegerin (OPG) is an independently indicator of cardiovascular disease. The serum concentration ratio of triglyceride (TG)/high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) also identify cardiovascular disease. The aim of this study is to analyze correlation between OPG and TG/HDL-C ratio in metabolic syndrome (MetS) patients. Methods: A cross sectional study with analytic approach was conducted on Moewardi Hospital, Indonesia in 2013. Forty patients MetS and forty patient non-MetS were recruited from the general medical check-up clinic. Patients were diagnosed metabolic syndrome based on International Diabetes Federation (IDF) 2005 criteria. The differences between variables were compared using independent sample t-test. The relationship between OPG and TG/HDL-C ratio was evaluated by Pearson`s correlation coefficient Results: The patients mean age was 47.7±8.5 years in MetS and 42.6±9.3 years in non-MetS patients, MetS more common in women than in men (27 vs 13). There were statistically significantly differences among parameters: age, TG, OPG, TG/HDL-C ratio (p=0.013, 0.001, 0.002, 0.001 respectively). Mean OPG serum levels higher in MetS than non-MetS (0.73±0.32 vs 0.55±0.17 (pmol/l). MetS patients had higher mean TG/ HDL-C ratio than non-MetS (5.78±4.36 vs 2.76±1.65). Osteoprotegerin signifi cantly correlated with TG/HDL-C ratio in MetS (r= -0.46, p=0.003), but not in non-MetS Conclusions: The OPG was negatively correlated with TG/HDL-C ratio in metabolic syndrome.
