        『어우야담』과 『요재지이』의 여성관 비교 연구

        본 논문은 『어우야담』과 『요재지이』에 나타난 여성 양상을 중심으로 두 작품의 여성관을 탐구하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 『어우야담』과 『요재지이』에 대한 한⋅중 양국의 선행 연구를 바탕으로 본 논문의 연구 방법과 여성 양상의 분류 정리에 대한 기준을 정하였다. 두 작품의 여성 양상을 분류 정리하고 분석을 통해서 유몽인과 포송령의 여성관의 특징을 살펴보았다. 이를 바탕으로 작품에 나타난 유몽인과 포송령의 여성관을 비교하여 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 유몽인과 포송령은 현명하고 지혜롭고 용감한 여성, 전통과 진보가 결합된 여성을 많이 다루고 있지만, 전통사상의 영향으로 인하여 전통적인 여성관에서 완전히 벗어나지는 못하고 있어 시대적, 계층적 한계를 보여주고 있다. 둘째, 유몽인과 포송령은 신분과 생애의 차이로 인해 세인을 교화하는 측면에서 여성관이 다른데, 사대부인 유몽인의 경우 여성들이 전통적인 윤리 도덕을 지키는 데 더 무게를 두었다. 재야의 문인인 포송령은 사랑과 정신적 위안을 더 중시하였다. 나아가, 유몽인의 여성관이 국가 발전 중심적이라면, 포송령의 여성관은 사회 발전 및 진보적 의미에 더 비중을 두었다고 할 수 있다. This paper explored the view of women in EoYadam and YojaeJii, focusing on their female roles and characteristics. Drawing upon previous research conducted in both Korea and China on these works, this paper establishes the research methodology and criteria for categorizing women’s perspectives. The identified aspects are then organized and analyzed to reveal the specific views of Yoo Mong-in and Pyo Song-ryeong on women. Based on this analysis, the following conclusions are drawn from the comparison of Yoo Mong-in and Pyo Song-ryeong’s perspectives on women. Firstly, both Yoo Mong-in and Pyo Song-ryeong appreciate women who embody a combination of wisdom, intelligence, courage, and progress. However, they are constrained by societal class and the prevailing traditional ideologies of their respective eras, which limit them from fully departing from traditional views on women. Second, Yoo Mong-in and Pyo Song-ryeong have different views of women who uplift society due to their disparate statuses and life circumstances. Yoo Mong-in, a nobleman, emphasizes women’s adherence to traditional ethical morality. Conversely, Pyo Song-ryeong, a humble literary man, values love and spiritual comfort. Furthermore, Yoo Mong-in’s portrayal of women centers around national development, whereas Pyo Song-ryeong’s perspective highlights social progress and advancement.

        Shear resistance performance of low elastic polymer microspheres used for conformance control treatment

        Low elastic polymer microsphere (L-EPM) has been proposed as a functional polymer microsphere theseyears. L-EMP has the excellent deformation ability in the porous medium due to the low storage modulus. Herein, one kind of L-EPM with storage modulus (G0) of 23.6 Pa was prepared by inverse suspensionpolymerization. The shear resistance of L-EPM was researched by using coreflooding experiment andhigh shear rate emulsifier. The conformance control behavior of L-EPM was investigated by using doubleparallel sandpackflooding experiment. The results showed that L-EPM was a kind of swollen particle gelwith three-dimensional net structure and contained amide, carboxyl, and sulfonate groups. Themechanism of water swelling property was mainly due to the formation of hydrogen bonds, hydrolysis ofhydrophilic groups and the diffusion caused by osmotic pressure difference. Compared with high elasticpolymer microspheres (H-EPM) and low elastic preformed particle gel (L-PPG), L-EPM had better shearresistance in the porous medium and the well casing perforation. In addition, the critical shear points ofL-EPM was proposed in this work. Due to the better shear resistance and deformation ability, theconformance control behavior of L-EPM showed that L-EPM was a promising conformance control agentin the heterogeneous reservoirs.

      • Roles of Surface Steps on Pt Nanoparticles in Electro-oxidation of Carbon Monoxide and Methanol

        <P>Design of highly active nanoscale catalysts for electro-oxidation of small organic molecules is of great importance to the development of efficient fuel cells. Increasing steps on single-crystal Pt surfaces is shown to enhance the activity of CO and methanol electro-oxidation up to several orders of magnitude. However, little is known about the surface atomic structure of nanoparticles with sizes of practical relevance, which limits the application of fundamental understanding in the reaction mechanisms established on single-crystal surfaces to the development of active, nanoscale catalysts. In this study, we reveal the surface atomic structure of Pt nanoparticles supported on multiwall carbon nanotubes, from which the amount of high-index surface facets on Pt nanoparticles is quantified. Correlating the surface steps on Pt nanoparticles with the electrochemical activity and stability clearly shows the significant role of surface steps in enhancing intrinsic activity for CO and methanol electro-oxidation. Here, we show that increasing surface steps on Pt nanoparticles of approximately 2 nm can lead to enhanced intrinsic activity up to approximately 200% (current normalized to Pt surface area) for electro-oxidation of methanol.</P>

      • The Metallization of Diamond Grits

        A revolutionary "Active Braze Coated Diamond" (ABCD) has been developed for bonding diamond grits firmly in the metal matrix. The molten braze is wetted and reacted with diamond to form strong chemical bond at the interface so that the diamond does not become knocked out of tools. The ABC is a nickel alloy that can form metallurgical diffusion bondswith the metal matrix. In essence, ABCD turns diamond into a metal grain so that the diamond tools can be made by conventional powder metallurgical process without being concerned about the poor bonding between matrix metal powder and the diamond as before.

        HSP70 attenuates compression-induced apoptosis of nucleus pulposus cells by suppressing mitochondrial fission via upregulating the expression of SIRT3

        Compression-induced apoptosis of nucleus pulposus (NP) cells plays a pivotal role in the pathogenesis of intervertebral disc degeneration (IVDD). Recent studies have shown that the dysregulation of mitochondrial fission and fusion is implicated in the pathogenesis of a variety of diseases. However, its role in and regulatory effects on compression-induced apoptosis of NP cells have not yet been fully elucidated. Heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) is a major cytoprotective heat shock protein, but its physiological role in IVDD, especially its effect on mitochondrial fission and fusion, is still unknown. Herein, we found that compression could induce mitochondrial fission, which ultimately trigger apoptosis of NP cells via the mitochondrial apoptotic pathway. In addition, we identified the cytoprotective effects of HSP70 on NP cells, and we found that promoting the expression of HSP70 could protect NP cells from abnormal mechanical loading in vitro and in vivo. Finally, we showed that HSP70 inhibited compression-induced mitochondrial fission by promoting SIRT3 expression, thereby attenuating mitochondrial dysfunction and the production of reactive oxygen species and ultimately inhibiting the mitochondrial apoptotic pathway in NP cells. In conclusion, our results demonstrated that HSP70 could attenuate compression-induced apoptosis of NP cells by suppressing mitochondrial fission via upregulating SIRT3 expression. Promoting the expression of HSP70 might be a novel strategy for the treatment of IVDD.

      • Clinical Significance of SH2B1 Adaptor Protein Expression in Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

        The SH2B1 adaptor protein is recruited to multiple ligand-activated receptor tyrosine kinases that play important role in the physiologic and pathologic features of many cancers. The purpose of this study was to assess SH2B1 expression and to explore its contribution to the non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods: SH2B1 expression in 114 primary NSCLC tissue specimens was analyzed by immunohistochemistry and correlated with clinicopathological parameters and patients' outcome. Additionally, 15 paired NSCLC background tissues, 5 NSCLC cell lines and a normal HBE cell line were evaluated for SH2B1 expression by RT-PCR and immunoblotting, immunofluorescence being applied for the cell lines. Results: SH2B1 was found to be overexpressed in NSCLC tissues and NSCLC cell lines. More importantly, high SH2B1 expression was significantly associated with tumor grade, tumor size, clinical stage, lymph node metastasis, and recurrence respectively. Survival analysis demonstrated that patients with high SH2B1 expression had both poorer disease-free survival and overall survival than other patients. Multivariate Cox regression analysis revealed that SH2B1 overexpression was an independent prognostic factor for patients with NSCLC. Conclusions: Our findings suggest that the SH2B1 protein may contribute to the malignant progression of NSCLC and could offer a novel prognostic indicator for patients with NSCLC.
