Mechanical and Microscopic Properties of Cement Stabilized Silt

        Shaoyun Pu,Zhiduo Zhu,Weilong Song,Yu Wan,Hairong Wang,Shigong Song,Jun Zhang 대한토목학회 2020 KSCE Journal of Civil Engineering Vol.24 No.8

In order to explore the strength, water stability, compressibility, shear properties of cement stabilized silt, the one-dimensional consolidation tests, direct shear and unconfined compressiontests were conducted on cement solidified silt. In addition, the microscopic characteristics of cement stabilized silt were investigated by using scanning electron microscope (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) tests. The unconfined compression tests showed that the unconfined compressive strength (UCS) raised with cement dosage increasing, and first increased rapidly and then raised slowly with the prolongation of curing time. As curing time prolonged, the water stability coefficient (Kr) of 2% cement stabilized silt raised significantly, while the Kr of 4% and 6% cement stabilized silt almost hardly changed. As cement dosage increased, at 7 days of curing age, the compressive modulus of cement stabilized silt raised. However, at 28 and 90 days of curing, the compressive modulus first raised and then reduced. As curing time increased, the compressive modulus increased at first and then deceased slightly. The direct shear tests demonstrated that the internal friction angle of cement solidified silt was almost unchanged with increasing cement dosage, but the internal friction angle increased slightly with the prolongation of curing time. For 2% and 4% cement stabilized silt, the cohesion raised with the prolongation of curing time. Meanwhile, the cohesion of 6% cement solidified silt at 7 days was slightly larger that of 28 days. Besides, the SEM and XRD analysis indicated that the loose structure of silt was improved due to cement addition.

Lifetime prediction of NBR composite sheet in aviation kerosene by using nonlinear curve fitting of ATR-FTIR spectra

Ying Xiong,Shaoyun Guo,Guangshun Chen,Guangxian Li 한국공업화학회 2013 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.19 No.5

The accelerated thermal aging was performed for NBR composite sheet in aviation kerosene. It was observed by XPS and ATR-FTIR that some obvious changes related to silicon were caused by thermal aging. Based on careful analysis of ATR-FTIR spectra of various NBR samples, a probable aging mechanism for NBR composite sheet in aviation kerosene was proposed. With the help of nonlinear curve fitting of ATR-FTIR spectra and Arrhenius plot, the lifetime prediction equation of NBR composite sheet in aviation kerosene was obtained. The lifetime of NBR composite sheet in aviation kerosene at room temperature (25 8C) was 6467 days.

SMURF1-mediated ubiquitination of ARHGAP26 promotes ovarian cancer cell invasion and migration

        Xuri Chen,Shaoyun Chen,Yao Li,Yanling Gao,Shuying Huang,Hongping Li,Yuanfang Zhu 생화학분자생물학회 2019 Experimental and molecular medicine Vol.51 No.-

Rho GTPase-activating protein 26 (ARHGAP26) is a negative regulator of the Rho family that converts the small GTPbinding protein RhoA (GTP-RhoA) to its inactive GDP-bound form and is a putative tumor suppressor gene associated with cell growth and migration. Here, the involvement of ARHGAP26 in ovarian cancer cell proliferation and migration was investigated. In this study, low ARHGAP26 expression was observed in ovarian cancer tissues and was associated with a poor overall survival and higher β-catenin expression in patients with ovarian cancer. A2780 and HEY cells with ARHGAP26 upregulation showed decreased cell proliferation, migration, and invasion, along with decreased GTPRhoA, β-catenin, VEGF, MMP2, and MMP7 expression. ARHGAP26 upregulation in A2780 cells also inhibited lung metastasis in vivo. SKOV3 cells with ARHGAP26 downregulation demonstrated an inverse effect, which was inhibited by ARHGAP26 overexpression or DKK1, an antagonist of the β-catenin pathway. SMURF1, an E3 ubiquitin ligase, interacted with and induced ubiquitination of ARHGAP26. ARHGAP26 upregulation in SKOV3 cells significantly inhibited SMURF1 upregulation-induced cell migration and invasion. Overall, SMURF1-mediated ubiquitination of ARHGAP26 may promote invasion and migration of ovarian cancer cells via the β-catenin pathway.

      • An Adaptable University Human Resource Data Management

Ye Fan,Shaoyun Guan,Honglue LV 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Database Theory and Appli Vol.8 No.1

Data management is the foundation of the University Human Resource Management Systems (UHRMSs). The data collected by the different departments in university human resource systems is distortion, logical confusion and unstructured. In order to overcome these defects, we design an adaptable university human resource management system. In the system, the technology of adaptive computing is adopted to enhance the self-management capability of UHRMS and decrease the complexity of management. Experimental results show that the proposed adaptable UHRMS has a lower transaction response time and a higher throughput than the traditional methods.

Active Distribution Network Expansion Planning Considering Distributed Generation Integration and Network Reconfiguration

        Haijun Xing,Shaoyun Hong,Xin Sun 대한전기학회 2018 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.13 No.2

This paper proposes the method of active distribution network expansion planning considering distributed generation integration and distribution network reconfiguration. The distribution network reconfiguration is taken as the expansion planning alternative with zero investment cost of the branches. During the process of the reconfiguration in expansion planning, all the branches are taken as the alternative branches. The objective is to minimize the total costs of the distribution network in the planning period. The expansion alternatives such as active management, new lines, new substations, substation expansion and Distributed Generation (DG) installation are considered. Distribution network reconfiguration is a complex mixed-integer nonlinear programming problem, with integration of DGs and active managements, the active distribution network expansion planning considering distribution network reconfiguration becomes much more complex. This paper converts the dual-level expansion model to Second-Order Cone Programming (SOCP) model, which can be solved with commercial solver GUROBI. The proposed model and method are tested on the modified IEEE 33-bus system and Portugal 54-bus system.

Discovery and Expression of a Pseudomonas sp. Esterase as a Novel Biocatalyst for the Efficient Biosynthesis of a Chiral Intermediate of Pregabalin

        Fangxin Xu,Shaoyun Chen,Gang Xu,Jian-ping Wu,Li-Rong Yang 한국생물공학회 2015 Biotechnology and Bioprocess Engineering Vol.20 No.3

The enantioselective biocatalytic hydrolysis of rac-2-carboxyethyl-3-cyano-5-methylhexanoic acid ethyl ester (rac-cyanodiester, rac-CNDE) to obtain a key (S)- intermediate is crucial for the synthesis of Pregabalin. The gene estZF172 from Pseudomonas CGMCC No. 4184, which encoded a novel esterase EstZF172 with excellent stereoselective catalysis capacity of (R)-CNDE (E = 95), was obtained from genomic library construction through activity screening. EstZF172 was identified to be a new member of the bacterial esterase/lipase Family VIII by sequence alignment, phylogenetic tree analysis and homology model analysis, with preference toward shortchain p-nitrophenyl esters. The esterase was functionally expressed in E. coli BL21(DE3), exhibiting a 120-fold improvement in catalytic activity (4027.5 U/L) over the wild strain (33.43 U/L) toward CNDE. For the chiral hydrolysis of rac-CNDE catalyzed by recombinant cells, the optimum operating temperature and pH were determined to be 35°C and 8.5, respectively, based on the biochemical characterization of the purified EstZF172. Finally, the yield and ee of (S)-CNDE reached 47.7% and > 99.5% after reaction for 7 h with a substrate loading of 127.5 g/L (500 mM). The results suggested that EstZF172 is a potential biocatalyst for the synthesis of an important chiral intermediate of Pregabalin.

Digital Control of Secondary Active Clamp Phase-Shifted Full-Bridge Converters

        Yanbo Che,Yage Ma,Shaoyun Ge,Dong Zhu 전력전자학회 2014 JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS Vol.14 No.3

A DSP-based self-adaptive proportional-integral (PI) controller to control a DC-DC converter is proposed in this paper. The full-bridge topology is adopted here to obtain higher power output capability and higher conversion efficiency. The converter adopts the zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) technique to reduce the conduction losses. A parallel secondary active clamp circuit is added to deal with the voltage overshoot and ringing effect on the transformer’s secondary side. A self-adaptive PI controller is proposed to replace the traditional PI controller. Moreover, the designed converter adopts the constant-current and constant-voltage (CC-CV) output control strategy. The secondary active clamp mechanism is discussed in detail. The effectiveness of the proposed converter was experimentally verified by an IGBT-based 10kW prototype.

      • Evaluation and Prediction of Driver's Bad Driving Behavior Based on the Moving Vehicle Attitude

Huaikun Xiang,Shaopeng Yang,Shi An,Shaoyun Ren 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Security and Its Applicat Vol.9 No.11

The driver takes leading part in the complex model of "human-vehicle-road-environment". The driving behavior has the characteristics of randomness, impulsivity and autonomy etc. which make it difficult to study the driver's driving behavior directly. Monitoring vehicle attitude is an important element of proactive safety management of public transport vehicles. This paper constructs a data acquisition system by using an InvenSense's 6-Axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) as the center of this system, which can sense the vehicle attitude information to make up for the lack of driver senses, and then builds fuzzy synthetical evaluation model which is combined with ISO 2631-1:1997/Amd 1:2010 standard. Finally, prediction of the driver's driving behavior in transient term has been established with Elman neural network method.
