<P>Nonequilibrium deposition is a remarkable method for the in situ growth of unique nanostructures and phases for the functionalization of thin films. We introduce a distinctive structure of a mixed-phase, composed of BiVO<SUB>4</SUB> and β-Bi<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB>, for photoelectrochemical water splitting. The mixed-phase is fabricated via nonequilibrium deposition by adjusted oxygen partial pressure. According to density functional theory calculations, we find that vanadium exsolution can be facilitated by introducing oxygen vacancies, enabling the fabrication of a nanostructured mixed-phase. These unique structures enhance charge migration by increasing the interfacial area and properly aligning the band offset between two crystalline phases. Consequently, the photocurrent density of the nanostructured mixed-phase thin films is about twice that of pristine BiVO<SUB>4</SUB> thin films at 1.23 V<SUB>RHE</SUB>. Our work suggests that nonequilibrium deposition provides an innovative route for the structural engineering of photoelectrodes for the understanding of fundamental properties and improving the photocatalytic performance for solar water splitting.</P> [FIG OMISSION]</BR>

This study concentrates on measuring and analyzing biosignal using conducting fabric electrode. Because of conductiong fabric, we could integrate the ECG electrode into wearable shirts. We tested wearable device during exercise such as running and walking and verified the function as reliable. The measured biosignals from the wearable shirts arc used as the raw data of our program which analyze the ECG and can make useful result such as speed of exercise, gait, acceleration, etc.

Background: Eczematous cheilitis can be caused by endogenous or exogenous factors. Exogenous causes include contact of the lips with lipsticks, toothpastes, and topical medications. Objective: We sought to investigate the causative allergens in 56 eczematous cheilitis patients. Methods: We identified patients who had visited the Department of Dermatology at Chonnam National University Hospital in Gwangju, Korea between January 2004 and February 2013. Clinical characteristics including age, gender, medical history, disease duration, and patch test results were evaluated. Results: Among 56 patients with eczematous cheilitis, 41 (73.2%) tested positive to one or more antigens in the patch test. The patch test results were clinically relevant in 25 patients. Consequently, allergic contact cheilitis was diagnosed most commonly (25 patients, 44.6%), followed by irritant contact cheilitis (13 patients, 23.2%), and endogenous cheilitis (5 patients, 8.9%). The causative factors were undetermined in 13 patients (23.2%). Conclusion: The common causes of allergic contact cheilitis were exposure to lipstick casings, lip cosmetics such as lipsticks and lip balms, and products like toothpaste. Nickel sulfate was the most common antigen found in the patch test, followed by fragrance mix and balsam of Peru. Patch testing should be performed in patients with chronic eczematous cheilitis to identify possible causes of allergic contact dermatitis. (Korean J Dermatol 2015;53(7):499∼504)

본 논문은 2010년 29부문 광양만권특화 지역산업연관모형을 구축하여 광양만권 해운항만산업의 지역경제에서의 위치, 지역산업과의 연관성 그리고 지역경제에의 파급효과를 분석한다. 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 2010년 기준 국가 해운항만산업 대비 광양만권 해운항만산업의 생산액, 부가가치액, 취업자의 비중은 각각 약 10.8%, 6.06%, 2.92%이며, 지역 전체산업 대비로는 각각 약 1.96%, 2.28%, 2.44%이다. 국가 총 항만서비스 수요 대비 광양만권 해운항만서비스 수요의 비중은 약 6.4%이다. 입지분석결과, 생산액 기준, 부가가치 기준, 그리고 종사자 수 기준 모두에서 해운항만산업은 광양만권 서비스부문 중 유일하게 전국대비 특화도가 1보다 큰 부문으로, 지역의 서비스부문은 해운항만산업에 특화된 산업구조를 가지고 있다. 한편, 해운항만산업은 지역주력제조업과 지역의 주요 생산자서비스업과 높은 연관성을 가지고 있다. 특히, 석유 및 화학은 해운항만산업과 전후방연관성이 모두 높으며 1차금속은 전방연관성이 높다. 도소매 및 기타운수·보관은 해운항만산업과 전후방 연관성이 모두 높으며, 금융·보험, 부동산, 사업서비스 등은 후방연관성이 높다. 수요 및 공급측면에서 종합적으로 분석한 광양만권 해운항만 산업의 지역경제 파급효과는 약 6조 원의 생산유발효과, 약 2조5천억 원의 부가가치유발효과, 약 1만 6천 명의 취업유발효과 등으로 광양만권 지역경제 총 생산의 약 4%, 총 부가가치의 약 5.8%, 그리고 총 취업자의 약 6.7%가 해운항만산업과 연관되어 있다. This study analyzes the economic impact of the shipping and port logistics industry in Gwangyang Bay Area on the regional economy. For this purpose, the study constructs an input-output table of 29 sectors for 2010 in the area. The main findings are as follows. In terms of production, value added, and share of employment, the regional shipping and port logistics industry accounts for approximately 10.8 percent, 6.0 percent, and 2.9 percent of the national shipping and port logistics industry, respectively. Moreover, the economic impact of the industry on the regional economy is estimated to be an increase in terms of production of about 6 trillion Korean won), to be an increase in value added of about 2.5 million Korean won, and an increase of about 16,000 in employment. Furthermore, the industry is found to have strong inter-industry linkages with the main manufacturing as well as the main producer service industries.
용액공정 기반 SnO<sub>2</sub>와 TiO<sub>2</sub>를 이중 전자수송층으로 적용한 양자점 전계 발광소자의 특성비교 연구

본 연구에서는 SnO<sub>2</sub> nanoparticles (NPs) 위에 TiO<sub>2</sub> NPs를 코팅하여 Quantum Dots Light Emitting Diodes (QLEDs)를 제작하였다. TiO<sub>2</sub> NPs는 SnO<sub>2</sub> NPs보다 conduction band minimum (CBM) 준위가 낮다. 따라서 SnO<sub>2</sub> 층과 발광층의 CBM 준위 사이에 위치해 에너지 장벽을 감소시키고, 전자의 이동을 원활하게 할 것으로 예상하였다. QLEDs는 inverted 구조로 제작되었으며, SnO<sub>2</sub> 단일층을 사용한 경우보다 발광 특성이 향상된 것을 확인하였다. 이중 전자수송층을 적용한 이번 연구를 통해 SnO<sub>2</sub>를 QLEDs에 전자수송층으로 적용할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. In this study, the inverted structured electroluminescence (EL) devices were fabricated with double electron transport layers (ETLs). The conduction band minimum (CBM) of TiO<sub>2</sub> NPs is lower than SnO<sub>2</sub> NPs. Therefore, it is expected that inserting TiO<sub>2</sub> NPs between the SnO<sub>2</sub> layer and the emission layer (EML) will reduce the energy barrier and transport electrons smoothly. The quantum dot light emitting diodes (QLEDs) with double ETLs showed the enhanced emission characteristics than those with only SnO<sub>2</sub> layer.
