광주지역 국교 3학년의 체격 및 식습관에 관한 조사 연구

The purpose of this study was to determine physical characteristics and food habit of pri-mary school student in Kwangju. The study was carried out 256 3th grade student (boys : 134 and girls : 122) in June and July of 1995. There were no significant differences in the heights, weights, physical circumferences mearsurements between boys and girls, but for the skinfold thickness mearsurements, the difference was significant. Also, the meal volume, meal speed, palatate, sour taste were significantly different between them. With regard to frequency of skipping breakfast, 20.9% of the subject has been "1-2 per week" and 16.5% of them has been skipping every morning. The study also was found that 67.6% of the subjects has been on irregular meal time and 77.4% of them on unbalanced diet. With regard to taste preference, 48.2% of the subjects liked hot taste and 73.7% of them liked sweet taste. These results suggest that student are in need correcting their food habits. This reasserts the importance of nutrition education to children through teachers, parents and dietitians. The findings of this study should be applied to nutrition education to ensure better physical fitness of children.

농가인구의 고령화 및 감소, 1인당 경지면적 증가 등으로 인해 노동력 부족 현상이 조명되고 있다. 따라서 시간당 더 많은 면적을 작업할 수 있도록 농기계의 고성능화가 요구되고 있다. 현재 4~6조 콤바인이 시판 중에 있으며, 앞서 설명된 영농 규모 변화에 따라 대형 콤바인의 수요가 늘어나는 추세이다. 이에 본 연구는 6조식 자탈형 콤바인 고성능화를 위하여 작업속도에 따른 수확성능과 작업능률을 측정 및 분석하였다. 시작기의 벼 수확 포장성능 시험은 경남 창녕군 남지읍 소재 농가포장에서 수행하였으며, 시작기 선별부의 구동조건을 선별체 회전수 422 rpm, 풍구 회전수 800 rpm, 채프각 45°으로 고정하고, 작업속도 3수준(1.5 m/s, 1.7m/s, 1.9 m/s)을 시험요인으로 설정하였다. 수확성능 분석을 위해 작업구간을 10 m로 설정하고 임의로 1 m 구간을 선정하여 시작기 뒤로 배출된 볏집, 검불 등을 조사하여 곡립구중의 손실립비를 측정하였다. 작업능률의 경우 시험 당시 측정된 평균 작업속도, 유효 작업폭, 회행시간을 측정하여 도출하였다. 공시작물의 생육조사 결과 경장 86.83±4.95 cm, 이삭길이 20.40±5.85 cm, 곡물 함수율 15.37±0.43%, 천립중 28.65±1.05 g으로 나타났다. 시험 결과, 최대 작업속도인 1.9 m/s일때, 곡립구중의 손실립비가 0.41%로 농업기계 검정기준(1% 이하)을 충족하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 전년도에 동일한 구동 조건으로 수행한 선별부 시뮬레이터 시험 결과인 1.08%보다 낮게 나타났다. 이는 선별부 시뮬레이터 구동 시, 시작기에 부착된 선별부 대비 고정력이 약하여 더 큰 진동이 발생, 손실립비가 시작기에 비해 높게 발생한 것으로 판단된다. 작업능률은 평균 작업속도 1.9 m/s 기준, 유효 작업폭 1.8 m, 회행시간 9.33s로 측정되어 0.11시간/10a로 나타났다.

Purpose: This research was conducted to determine the design factors of a seed-metering device for the development of a seeder. The device allows the seeder to sow precisely one to three seeds of foxtail millet and sorghum. To obtain fundamental information regarding the design of the seed-metering device, examination of the physical properties of foxtail millet and sorghum was conducted. Methods: Based on the results of an adaptability test using an existing seeder with foxtail millet and sorghum, an experimental roller-type seed-metering device was made. The seeding factors considered during the experiment were the width, length, and depth, as well as the shape of the groove in the seed-metering roller. By adapting an analysis of variance, the experimental results of the seeding factors were analyzed. Results: The measured results of the respective lengths and widths of the seeds were 2.11 and 1.64 mm for foxtail millet, and 3.68 and 3.32 mm for sorghum, respectively. The weight of 1,000 seeds was 2.43 g for foxtail millet and 17.5 g for sorghum. The seeds were of an elliptical shape, considering the length and width. A sieve analysis showed that the size distribution of foxtail millet was quite regular whereas that of sorghum was irregular. Conclusions: The seeding results showed that the rates of incorrect planting were low when the groove of the roller-type metering device is an elliptical type. To sow one to three seeds, the groove of roller-type metering devices $2.0mm{\times}4.0mm{\times}1.5mm$ ($width{\times}length{\times}depth$) for foxtail millet, and $4.0mm{\times}8.0mm{\times}3.0mm$ and $4.5mm{\times}8.0mm{\times}3.0mm$ ($width{\times}length{\times}depth$) for Sorghum.
식도발성의 숙련 정도에 따른 모음의 음향학적 특징과 자음 산출에 대한 연구

Esophageal Speech uses the esophageal air during phonation. Fluent esophageal speakers frequently intake air in oral communication, but unskilled esophageal speakers are difficult with swallowing lots of air. The purpose of this study was to investigate the different of acoustic characteristics of vowel and consonants production according to the speech proficiency level in esophageal speech. 13 normal male speakers and 13 male esophageal speakers (5 unskilled esophageal speakers, 8 skilled esophageal speakers) with age ranging from 50 to 70 years old. The stimuli were sustained /a/ vowel and 36 meaningless two syllable words. Used vowel is /a/ and consonants were 18 : /k, n, t, m, p, s, c, ch, kh, th, ph, h, I, k', t', p', s', c'/. Fundamental frequency (Fx), Jitter, shimmer, HNR, MPT were measured with by electroglottography using Lx speech studio (Laryngograph Ltd, London, UK). 36 meaningless words produced by esophageal speakers were presented to 3 speech-language pathologists who phonetically transcribed their responses. Fx, Jitter, HNR parameters is significant different between skilled esophageal speakers and unskilled esophageal speakers (P<.05). Considering manner of articulation, ANOVA showed that differences in two esophageal speech groups on speech proficiency were significant; Glide had the highest number of confusion with the other phoneme class, affricates are the most intelligible in the unskilled esophageal speech group, whereas in the skilled esophageal speech group fricatives resulted highest number of confusions, nasals are the most intelligible. In the place of articulation, glottal /h/ is the highest confusion consonant in both groups. Bilabials are the most intelligible in the skilled esophageal speech; velars are the most intelligible in the unskilled esophageal speech. In the structure of syllable, 'CV+V' is more confusion in the skilled esophageal group, unskilled esophageal speech group has similar confusion in both structures. In unskilled esophageal speech, significantly different Fx, Jitter, HNR acoustic parameters of vowel and the highest confusions of Liquid, Nasals consonants could be attributed to unstable, improper contact of neoglottis as vibratory source and insufficiency in the phonatory air supply, and higher motoric demand of remaining articulation due to morphological characteristics of vocal tract after laryngectomy.
Treatment of asymptomatic pulmonary cryptococcosis in immunocompetent hosts with oral fluconazole

<P><I>Background:</I> Pulmonary cryptococcosis is occasionally detected on routine imaging studies in healthy hosts with no or mild symptoms. Isolated pulmonary cryptococcosis may be observed without specific therapy in asymptomatic immunocompetent hosts. However, considering that dissemination from a pulmonary infection can occur in patients with no immunologic defects, treatment of asymptomatic pulmonary cryptococcosis in immunocompetent hosts remains controversial. The aim of this study was to determine the role of fluconazole therapy in the management of isolated pulmonary cryptococcosis in asymptomatic healthy hosts. <I>Methods:</I> We retrospectively analyzed the medical records and radiographic findings of 10 healthy subjects with isolated pulmonary cryptococcosis diagnosed incidentally and treated with oral fluconazole. <I>Results:</I> All patients had no respiratory or constitutional symptoms. The most common radiological findings were pulmonary nodules, and the number of nodules in each patient was from 1 to 9. After histological confirmation, all patients were treated with oral fluconazole at a dosage of 400 mg per day for a median period of 6.4 months. No patient developed an adverse reaction to fluconazole. The mean interval between the initiation of antifungal therapy and final radiological response was 8.3 months. Seven of the 10 patients showed complete resolution, and the other 3 patients were assessed as having partial resolution. During the average follow-up period of 11.9 months, all patients showed a favourable outcome with no relapse. The overall cure rate was 70%. <I>Conclusion:</I> These results suggest that fluconazole may be an attractive therapeutic option for asymptomatic pulmonary cryptococcosis in immunocompetent hosts.</P>
