Atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) is one of the most successful methods to polymerize styrenes, (meth)acrylates and a variety of other monomers in a controlled fashion. Novel ligands, 4-alkyl pyridine-2-carboxamides (R = methyl (1a), t-butyl (1b)). have been prepared by the reaction of 4-alkyl-2-cyanopyridine with water in the presence of 0.4 mot% base in ethanol solution. The living free radical polymerization of 1,3-butadiene has been shown to be a facile process in the presence CuBr/1a catalytic system. Several effects, such as ligand, solvent, temperature and kinetic study of ATRP of 1,3-butadiene (BD) have been studied systematically.

Novel ligands, alkyl (R 〓 methyl (1a), isopropyl (1b), cyclopentyl (1c), cyclohexyl (1d)) pyridine-2-carboximidates, have been prepared by hte reaction of 2-cyanopyridine with the corresponding alcohols. While all these ligands with CuBr showed the polymerization activity of methyl methacrylate, the CuBr/2(1c) catalytic system was very effective in our previous work. Using our new catalytic ligand system, the polymerization of 1,3-butadiene (BD) was carried out successfully. Several effects, such as ligand, solvent, temperature and kinetic study of homopolymerization of 1,3-butadiene have been studied systematically.

구조물을 스캔하여 BIM(BuiMing Information Model)을 만들어내는 방식은 LiDAR(Light Detection And Ranging Sensor) 라는 센서를 사용하여 구조물의 거리와 모양, 크기를 인식하고 PCM(Point Cloud Mapping)기술로 3차원의 공간을 디지털화 하는 방식이 일반적이다. 여기서 문제는 LiDAR 센서가 고가이며, 인식거리가 짧고 해상도가 낮다는 것이다. 매일 상황이 변화하는 건설현장에서 LiDAR 센서만으로는 BIM화하기에는 많은 비용과 인력, 장비가 필요할 것이며, 앞으로 디지털 현장관리를 위해서 꼭 필요한 현장 BIM화를 위해 드론을 활용하는 방안에 대해 연구하였다.
