부정과 파국 그리고 재설정 -임상수의 변증법적 주제변화 연구

임상수는 6편의 영화를 통하여 상업영화와 예술영화의 경계선을 오가고 있는 한국영화 연출가이다. 그는 매 영화마다 파격적인 주제와 이에 따르는 논쟁으로 주목받았으나 상대적으로 영화의 작가론의 주요 논의 대상이 되지는 않았다. 이 글은 임상수의 작품들을 통해 그의 일련의 영화들의 주제구현 방식이 각 영화별로 뿐만 아니라 전체 영화 흐름에서도 변증법의 정반합 구조를 취하고 있다는 것을 밝히고자 한다. 임상수는 그의 영화 소재로 항상 파격적이고 논란거리가 있는 소재를 선정하는데 데뷔작인 <처녀들의 저녁식사>에서는 여성중심의 노골적인 성과 성행위, <눈물>에서는 청소년들의 일탈적 삶, <바람난 가족>에서는 가족제도의 붕괴를 그렸다. <그 때 그 사람들>에서는 역사의 논의를 개인단계로 낮추고 희하하는 전략을 취했다. 그는 이런 파격적인 소재 선택을 통한 한국사회 현실에 대한 안티테제를 제공하는 전략을 취하는 것이다. 이런 흐름에서 여성중심의 성-성행위의 소재를 안티테제로 상정하여 남과 여의 문제와 그에 따르는 주체관계를 새롭게 정의하고 이를 바탕으로 남성중심의 가족제도, 권의적 사회구조, 거대담론의 역사에 대하여 여성중심의 가족체계와 개인주의 역사관을 대안으로 제시한다. 이런 일련의 주제 변화 흐름은 다분히 변증법의 전략을 일관되게 취하고 있으며 임상수 본인의 일관된 주제의식과 영화관에 근거하여 전개하고 있다. 임상수의 자신 만의 변증법적 전략과 주제 의식, 두 곳 이상의 시공간에서 두 명 이상의 인물이 주인공이 되는 열린 서사구조와 편집구성을 고려한다면 그는 독창성과 확고한 주제의식을 가진 ``한국 영화작가``로 칭할 수 있으며 그 영화 미학적으로도 가치를 지닌다고 할 수 있다. Im Sang-Soo is Korean director who directed 6 films from 1998 to now. His main subject has a flow that stared from female`s sexual freedom, goes to male`s violence history. Instead of male`s violence history, he suggest new humanistic reunion. His film has a dialectical flow of those subject changes. Also he denies using formal film grammar. Then he choose loosen storytelling and editing style. In those meaning, Im Sang-Soo is one of important film auteur of Korean film now.

자아정체성 혼돈을 경험하는 미주 한인 2세를 위한 치유목회의 실천적 제안

필자는 미주 한인 2세들을 어떻게 치유할 것인가를 실천적이며 실제적인 논문을 통해 깊이 있게 상고하고자 시도하였다. 미주 한인 2세들은 중심으로부터 멀어진 주변성이라는 독특한 형태의 현실로 고통 당할 수밖에 없고 이로 인한 고통을 경험할 수밖에 없기 때문에 본 논문을 통해 필자는 치유를 위한 다섯 단계의 절차를 소개하였다. 특히 미주 한인 사회의 특성상 돌봄 목회는 치유의 관점에서 해석되고 바라보지 않으면 안 되기에 이상현 박사의 주변성이라는 개념과 이인숙 박사의 여성 정체성에 대한 단계들을 토대로 미주 한인 2세를 어떻게 치유할 수 있을 것인가를 목회상담가의 입장에서 살펴보았다. 이 논문에서 필자가 제안하고자 하는 것은 이론적이기 보다는 실제적이며 보다 경험에 입각한 연구이다. 실천적 차원에서 필자는 목회신학의 세계관을 가족체계이론의 입장에서 재해석하였고,, 더 나아가 기독공동체를 위한 기독교적 방식의 실천적 제안을 소개하였다. 이 논문의 지면적 한계 때문에 실제 상담의 사례를 들어 설명하지는 않았지만, 치유의 다섯 단계가 모두 실천적이며 실제적이기 때문에 정체성의 혼란을 경험하고 있는 미주 한인 2세들을 목회상담의 세계관과 가족체계이론에 기초하여 어떻게 치유를 경험시킬 것인가에 대한 분명한 그림들을 제안하고 있다. In this practical and actual paper, I will try to ponder over how we can help the second-generation Korean Americans to get healing. It is because most of the second-generation Korean Americans suffer from identity confusion derived from their reality, that is, liminality, a form of marginality. In this regard, I propose five healing stages. I believe that caring ministry in the Korean-American context will be deepened when it is seen by eyes of healing approaches. Based on Dr. Sang Hyun Lee`s ideas on liminality and Dr. Inn Sook Lee`s stages for women`s identity, I, as a pastoral counselor, consider how I can help the second generation in crises to receive healing. My proposal is thus practical and empirical rather than theoretical. For I want to propose a palpable way of healing. For practical suggestions, I will use family systems theory by means of the Weltanschauung of pastoral theology. Consequently five healing stages are very Christian, for I propose the stages for the Christian community. Furthermore, this paper does not focus on how the method itself might be activated in real situations. Rather I have tried to present palpable illustrations of the healing ministry based on family systems theory and the Weltanschauung of pastoral counseling for second-generation Korean Americans in identity confusion.

근로자의 화학물질 노출관련 기록 보존에 관한 연구

Objectives: Employee exposure record refers to a record containing information about environmental(workplace) monitoring or measuring of a toxic substance or harmful physical agent. The aims of this study were to examine problems related to exposure records and provide some amendments to the Korean Industrial Safety & Health Act for the effective management of chemical substances under the law. Methods: This study performed a literature search and review on legal provisions related to exposure records of a number of different countries, including Korea, the USA, Japan, EU, Germany, and the UK. They were compared and investigated and the amendment of articles was suggested. Results: The results of this study were provided as suggested amendments to the related act. There were a variety of ways of improvement, including a 30-year retention period and the introduction of new access methods, contents, transfer, and maintenance methods. All exposure data elements have to be standardized, including reference to a similar exposure group(SEG), sampling strategy, and circumstances of exposure(e.g., date, shift length, use of personal protective equipment, etc.). The SEGs are described by process, job, task, and environmental agent. Conclusions: This study is expected to provide for the amendment of the related act in order to ensure effective management of exposure records and is helpful for solving the cause and result of occupational disease by keeping exposure records according to the Industrial Safety & Health Act.

병원구매업무에 있어서의 전자상거래 도입에 관한 연구 : 구매부서 관리자의 인식도를 중심으로 Focused on the Understanding of Purchasing Managers

This study is focused that the electronic commerce(EC) on the purchasing section may improve the efficiency and transparency of the hospitals management. After reviewing the purchasing activity of hospitals, I study the introduction, expected effects, and problems of EC. So, I am going to provide basic information for activating EC. The samples are managers of 170 hospitals, which are located on Seoul. As a result of collection this survey, I analyze 79 hospitals. For data analysis, I use X^2-test and ANOVA for purchasing management and the relevance of EC according to the level of care. The results of this study are 1. the problems on the management of purchasing section are : firstly, they don't have sufficient time to study market. Secondly, it is difficult to find competitive suppliers. And, lastly, they cannot gather a lot of information about the price of products. 2. There are many answers of the needs on the introduction of B2B. However, some hospitals think they don't need it. But, the most answers are that the EC will be settled within 4 years. So, we can realize that these hospitals are getting interested on the EC. On the other hand, I find that they prefer outside EC companies for the introduction of EC. 3. On the expected effects on EC, first is the effectiveness of the market survey. The next is to collect information of adequate price of products owing to clear transaction, find easier new suppliers and gather useful data. 4. On the external problems of the introduction of EC, there is low credibility related to the security and the weakness of suppliers' information system. Especially, on the Real Transaction Price Payment system, the bigger bed size, the higher understanding on these problems. On the internal problems of the introduction of EC, first is the burden of the introduction of EC and operating cost. Especially, on the burden of the disclosure of revenue source, the smaller bed size, the higher understanding on this problem. So, this is a point which deserves my attention statistically. However, this shows relatively little understanding about incomplete the standard of product category and the weak information system of hospital. Through this study, I am going to suggest 3 points for the activation of the introduction of EC on hospitals. 1. The reform of the Real Transaction Price Payment System on medical supplies and materials for medical treatment. 2. The establishment of the standard of product category. 3. The promotion of information system based on network.

Factors associated with low-level physical activity in elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

Background/Aims: In patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), the extent of physical activity (PA) is correlated with disease severity and prognosis. However, factors associated with low-level PA in elderly COPD patients are not known. We assessed the levels of PA and clinical factors associated with low-level of PA in elderly COPD patients. Methods: This was a secondary analysis of a multicenter, prospective study of 245 patients with COPD. Among them, 160 patients with 65 years or more were included. Three PA groups were defined with respect to daily activity time (low, moderate, and high). Health related quality of life (HRQL) was measured using St. George’s respiratory questionnaire (SGRQ) and 36-item short-form health survey. Anxiety and depression status were assessed employing the hospital anxiety and depression scale (HADS). Multivariate logistic regression was performed to identify independent predictors of low-level PA in elderly COPD patients. Results: Of all the 160 patients, 103 (64.4%) engaged in low-level PA. Upon univariate analysis, a decreased exercise capacity (6-minute walk test < 250 m), an increased dyspnea (the modified medical research council [MMRC] dyspnea scale ≥ 2), a decreased HRQL (total SGRQ score), and a presence of depression (HADS-D ≥ 8) were significantly associated with low-level PA. Upon multivariate analysis, an MMRC grade ≥ 2 (hazard ratio [HR], 2.550; p = 0.034), and HADS-D ≥ 8 (HR, 2.076; p = 0.045) were independently associated with low-level PA in elderly COPD patients. Conclusions: Two-thirds of elderly patients with COPD reported low-level of PA. More severe dyspnea and a presence of depression were independently associated with low-level PA in elderly COPD patients.

Effect of Work-function Variation on Transfer Characteristics and Memory Performances for Gate-all-around JLFET based Capacitorless DRAM

In this study, we present variations in transfer characteristics and memory performances caused by work-function variation (WFV) in the metal gate of a one-transistor dynamic random-access memory cell based on a gate-all-around junctionless field-effect transistor (GAA-JLFET). To investigate the influence of WFV, we simulated 200 samples of GAA-JLFETs. The samples had different transfer characteristics depending on the metal grain granularity. In addition, we calculated and analyzed the mean and standard deviations for the transfer characteristics. Further, the memory performances were analyzed using two extreme cases with the highest and lowest threshold voltage (Vth) as examples. When WFV was not considered, the current ratio was 108, and retention time was more than 10 ms. Meanwhile, when WFV was considered, the current ratio was 10² and 10⁴, and the retention time was reduced to 0.051 ms and 2.2 ms, respectively. These results showed that WFV affected not only the transfer characteristics in GAA-JLFET but also the memory performances; it could adversely affect the reliability of the memory device.

Precision of Digital Photogrammetry for the Roughness Measurement of Rock Surfaces

This paper presents the benefits of using close-range digital photogrammetric techniques for measuring the roughness of rock surfaces, using digital stereo images obtained from a Rolleiflex 6006 metric camera. To precisely measure surface roughness, we researched on how to use the flat and curved reference surface obtained from geometrically corrected digital images of the rock surface by using the least squares method. To test the precision of the proposed technique, the surface roughness has been measured between the reference surface and sample areas of very smooth-surfaced rock. Then the results were compared with the measurements obtained from a laser sensor profilometer.
