        This paper is designed to make a suggestion of the educational necessity and orientation of martial-arts with a view to offering a basic material for the educational side of martial arts. Martial arts are educational materials appropriate enough to have a proper understanding of the Eastern cultures on account of the fact that they are grounded on the Eastern cultures, including educational thoughts as well as skillful contents. Martial arts have an educational implication in that they highlight not only physical strength but also self-realization. The field of martial arts leaves something to be desired if they are to grow into an educational means. Though such things as a series of theories on the origin of Judo, its uniqueness are of some importance, I should like to suggest that a new set of measures should be worked out so that Judo may have logical foundation and practical meaning as well.

        PDGF와 LPS가 치주 인대 세포의 활성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        PDGF와 LPS는 골 대사에 중요한 조절요소이다. 외인성 PDGF는 골 흡수를 자극하기도 하고, 또 새로운 골 형성을 자극하기도 한다. LPS는 골파괴 활성의 자극요인으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 골개조에 중요한 역할을 하는 치주 인대에 PDGF와 LPS의 상호 작용을 평가하기 위해서 시행되었다. 배양된 사람의 치주인대 세포에 PDGF와 LPS를 첨가 배양하여 각 농도와 시간에 따른 대조군에 대한 백분율로 환산된 세포 활성의 평균과 표준편차를 구하고 ANOVA를 시행하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. PDGF를 단독으로 가한 경우 0.1ng/ml에서는 세포활성이 대조군과 차이가 없었으나 1mg/ml에서는 배양 2일째에, 10ng/ml에서는 배양 2,3일째에 유의한 세포 활성 증가를 보였다. 2. LPS 단독처리시 0.5㎍/ml 및 5㎍/ml 농도에서 배양 1일째, 2일째에는 대조군과 차이가 없었으나 배양 3일째에 유의한 활성 감소가 없었다. 3. 0.5㎍/ml 및 5㎍/ml 농도의 LPS에 1ng/ml 및 10ng/ml농도의 PDGF첨가시, 배양 3일째에 LPS단독 투여시보다 유의한 세포 활성 증가가 있었으며 특히 10ng/ml PDGF 첨가시에는 대조군보다 활성이 컸다. 이상의 연구결과로 골개조 과정에 관여하는 것으로 여겨지는 치주 인대세포에 대한 적절한 농도의 PDGF와 LPS의 복합투여는 PDGF 단독 투여 못지 않게 치주 인대세포의 활성을 증가시키는 것으로 사료된다. Platelet-derived growth factor(PDGF) and lipopolysaccharide(LPS) may be the important regualtors of bone metabolism. Exogenous PDGF is recognized to have a stimulating effect on bone resorption in organ culture, but to stimulate the formation of new bone ultimately. LPS is known to be a stimulating agent on the osteoclastic activity. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects and the interaction of PDGF and LPS on periodontal ligament(PDL) cells which have important roles in bone remodeling. Cultured human periodontal ligament cells were treated with various concentration of PDGF and/or LPS. The cellular viability was measured by Microtitration(MTT) assay according to the lapse time of culture. The obtained results were as follows: 1. The viability of PDL cells was not different from the control in 0.1ng/ml of PDGF, but was significantly increased to be over the level of control in 1ng/ml of PDGF at the second day of culture, and in 10ng/ml of PDGF at the second and the third day of culture. 2. The cellular viability was decreased in 0.5㎍/ml or 5㎍/ml of LPS at the third day of culture. 3. Incubation with both 1ng/ml or 10ng/ml of PDGF and 0.5㎍/ml or 5㎍/ml of LPS resulted in the increased cellular viability at the third day, which was greater than LPS only treated group. It was greater than even the control group in 10ng/ml of PDGF. From the above findings, we could summarize that the admixture of PDGF and LPS could not less increase the viability of the human periodontal ligament cells than PDGF only.

      • 분변토 첨가에 따른 토양중의 파라치온의 거동

        The aim of this study was investigated with the behavior of parathion adsorption and degradation efficiency of parathion in various samples loaded with earthworm casting. Adsorption capacity of parathion in loam soil was better than clay loam. Degradation of parathion was 70 percent in loam and clay loam soil to time but samples was loaded 5% casting, L0C5 and CLC5 had shown 90 percent degradation. We found that parathion was leachers pesticide as groundwater ubiquity score (GUS) was more than 4.0.

      • 부산지역 청년들의 부산에 대한 인식 : 청년 정책을 위한 함의

        이 연구는 부산지역 거주 청년 500명을 대상으로 부산시에 대한 인식을 조사하였다. 조사결과 일자리 문제를 제외하고 응답자들은 부산에 대해 대체로 긍정적인 평가를 하는 것으로 나타났으며, 부산의 미래에 대해 낙관적인 기대를 가지고 있었다. 다만 서부산권 거주자들의 만족도가 동부산권 거주자들에 비해 상대적으로 낮았다. 설문조사 결과를 토대로 정책적 함의를 논의 하였다.

        백서의 하악골 전방 재위치 시 하악과두 조직에서의 nitric oxide synthases 발현 양상

        Objective: The aim of this study was to identify the expression of nitric oxide synthases (NOS) in the mandibular condyle during mandible advancement by functional appliance and to correlate it with the histologic changes and bone remodeling. Methods: Twenty-four female, 35-day-old Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into 3 experimental groups. In all experimental groups, the mandibles of the rats were kept in a continuous forward position with a fixed bite jumping appliance. The rats were sacrificed on the 3rd, 14th, and 30th days of experiment. More than 2 rats in each group were used for staining. Results: There were no remarkable histologic changes and NOS expression differences in the control group. The most prominent histologic changes occurred in the 14th day experimental group. NOS decreased in the 30th day experimental group. There was increased expression of NOS₂ and NOS₃ in all experimental groups, comparative to the control group. In all the experimental groups and control group, the expression of NOS₂ was greater than that of NOS₃. Conclusions: It is postulated that NOS₂ and NOS₃ in the mandibular condyle might play an important role in bone remodelling of the mandibular condyle. 성장기 아동의 하악과두 조직에서의 골개조 과정은 연골세포, 조골세포, 파골세포가 연관되며 nitric oxide synthase (NOS)가 중요한 매개자의 하나로 작용할 것으로 생각되나 기능성 악정형술을 이용해 하악골을 전방유도시켰을 때 하악과두에서의 골개조와 NOS 의 발현에 대해서는 아직 자세히 연구되어 있지 않다. 본 연구는 하악골을 기능적으로 전방위치시켰을 때 하악과두 조직의 조직학적 변화양상에 대해 살펴보고 NOS 의 발현 정도를 조사하여 상관관계를 알아보고자 하였다 . 35일령의 24마리의 Sprague-Dawley 백서를 3군으로 나누었고 각 군에 있어서 5 마리는 실험군으로 3마리는 대조군으로 나누었다. 실험군은 하악골 전방유도장치를 24시간 장착한 후 3, 14, 30 일에 희생하였으며 시상면에 평행하게 절단하였고 NOS₂와 NOS₃의 조직면역염색을 통해 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 대조군 간에는 조직학적인 변화와 NOS 의 발현 번화가 뚜렷이 관잘되지는 않았으며 실험기간에 따른 조직학적 변화는 실험 14일 군에서 가장 많은 신생골 형성과 조골세포 활성을 보였으며, 실험 30 일 군에서는 감소하는 양상으로 나타났다. 또한 모든 실험군에서 대조군에 비해 NOS₂와 NOS₃의 발현이 많이 나타났으며 실험기간에 따른 비교 시 NOS₂와 NOS₃의 발현은 실험 14 일 군에서 가장 많이 나타났으며 실힘 30 일 군에서는 감소하는 양상으로 나타났다. 전체 실험군과 대조군에서 NOS₂의 발현은 NOS₃의 발현보다 많이 나타났고 NOS₂는 실험군 과두의 비대연골, 연골하골에서 주로 발현되었다. NOS₃는 실험군 과두의 골수와 모세혈관에서 주로 발현되었다. 따라서 하악과두 내의 NOS₂와 발현조절이 하악과두 조직의 골개조에 관여함을 시사한다.

      • 자유탐구활동의 소집단 구성방법이 과학 학습 동기와 과학 정의적 영역 성취도에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 자유탐구활동에서 소집단을 구성하는 방법이 초등학교 6학년 학생들의 과학 학습동기와 과학 정의적 영역 성취도에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보기 위한 것이다. 연구대상으로 K도 소재 Y초등학교에서 6학년 4개 학급을 선정하였다. 자유탐구를 실시하기에 앞서 4개 학급학생을 대상으로 과학 학습정서 검사를 실시하였고, 그 검사 결과에 따라 과학에 대한 흥미도를 기준으로 각 학급의 학생들을 동질 집단과 이질 집단으로 구성하였다. 실험 집단에는 과학에 대한 흥미도가 비슷한 학생들로 이루어진 동질 집단을 구성하여 소집단 자유탐구 활동을 실시하였고, 비교집단에는 과학에 대한 흥미도가 각기 다른 학생들로 구성된 이질 집단 간의 자유탐구활동을 실시하였다. 실험처치 후 과학 학습 동기와 과학 정의적 영역 성취도에 관해 사전·사후 검사 후 처치 결과를 비교·분석하였다 연구 결과를 통해 소집단에 속한 학생들이 탐구의 전 과정을 주도적으로 이끌어나가는 자유탐구에서 과학에 대한 흥미도가 비슷한 소집단 구성은 학생들의 과학 학습 동기 및 과학 정의적 영역 성취도 향상에 더 효과적이었음을 알수 있다. 자유탐구를 지도할 때 과학 학습 동기 및 과학 정의적 영역 성취도 향상에 적합한 소집단 구성 방법으로 학생들의 과학에 대한 흥미도에 따라 동질적으로 집단을 구성할 것을 제안한다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the method of constructing small group in the free inquiry activities on the science learning motivation and the attitude toward science in the 6th grade elementary school students. Four classes of 6th grade were selected from Y elementary school in Kyoungkido. Prior to conducting a free inquiry, students of four classes were subjected to a science learning emotional test. Based on the test results, students in each class were classified into homogeneous groups and heterogeneous groups based on their interest in science learning. In the experiment group, a homogeneous group composed of students with similar science interests were carried out small group free inquiry activities. In the comparison group, there was a free inquiry activity among heterogeneous groups composed of students with different scientific interests. After the experimental treatment, the results of the pre-test and post-test were compared and analyzed statistically. As results, first, small-group free inquiry activities composed of students with similar interests in science learning showed a statistically significant effect on the motivation to learn science in the sixth grade of elementary school. Second, small-group free inquiry activities composed of students with similar interests in science learning showed a statistically significant effect on the achievement of science affective domain in the sixth grade of elementary school. This study concluded that small-group free science inquiry activities composed of students with similar interests in science learning were more effective to increase the motivation to learn science and the achievement of science affective domain. Therefore, it is necessary to construct homogeneous small groups in terms of science interests for the free science inquiry activity.

        준정부조직의 생성ㆍ변형ㆍ소멸에 관한 기초 연구

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the change of political authority and economic authority dividing establishments, transformations, terminations into POSCO growth processes. In establishing stage, POSCO is planned and operated by government in spite of corporation regulated commercial law. In that time, It was treated government-controlled corporation. Accordingly, political authority is very high and economic authority is very low. In transforming stage, It carries out corporation' s public offering of stocks but government is the largest stockholder. In that time, the promoting law and import limits on steel industry were abrogated but export regulations and price control were maintained. Therefore, political authority is relatively decreased and economic authority is preserved. In terminating stage, Government sells the whole quantity of POSCO stocks and it is released from public corporations. It is transformed into corporation with shares traded publicly on stock market. Hence, economic authority is relatively increased and political authority is reduced. These transformations are positively evaluated on economic aspects. Government explores the measures of market competition and deregulation on corporation's public offering of stocks. This study offers suggestion which are restricted within narrow limits because it studies only one case study. The following studies will suggest various comments studying corporations passed through different transforming processes.

        This study investigates the effect of heat curing methods and bubble sheets on the temperature history and strength development of the slab concrete exposed to -20℃. Test results showed that due to the heat curing methods and insulation of bubble sheets, the temperature of all concretes maintained over O℃. In particular, the concrete insulated by the bubble sheets with four layers resulted in the highest temperature history inside the concrete and the highest strength.

        Emotional labor and job types of male firefighters in Daegu Metropolitan City

        Background: Research on the emotional labor of firefighters is actively being carried out, but studies that analyze emotional labor separately by job types, working departments, and other conditions of firefighters are insufficient. The purpose of this study is to investigate the difference in emotional labor level between departments and other conditions of firefighters. Methods: A total of 287 Korean firefighters were included for analysis. The demands of emotional labor and emotional damage were measured using the Korean Emotional Labor Scale. To analyze the conditions and factors affecting the emotional labor level of the firefighters, logistic regression analysis was performed using the emotional labor high risk group as a dependent variable. Results: The average score of overall emotional labor level of the firefighters was 47.2 ± 17.3, and the prevalence of high risk firefighters with emotional labor was 27.1%. It was found that the emergency medical service and administration departments showed a higher prevalence of high risk emotional labor firefighters than did other departments. The result of multiple logistic regression analysis for the high risk emotional labor firefighters showed that the adjusted odds ratio of emergency medical service department compared to the reference group (the rescue department) was 2.89 (95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.02–8.24). Conclusions: Among the firefighters, the emergency medical service department is a high risk factor for emotional labor. Therefore, education and prevention training on emotional labor should be more thorough before work shifts
