      • Characterization of jute fibre reinforced pine rosin modified soy protein isolate green composites

        Sakhare, Karishma M.,Borkar, Shashikant P. Techno-Press 2022 Advances in materials research Vol.11 No.3

Very slow degradation of synthetic based polymers has created a severe environmental issue that increased awareness towards research in polymers of biodegradable property. Soy protein isolate (SPI) is a natural biopolymer used as matrix in green composites but it has limitations of low mechanical properties and high water sensitivity. To enhance mechanical properties and reduce water sensitivity of Jute-SPI composites, SPI was modified with pine rosin which is also a natural cross-linking agent. 30% glycerol on the weight basis of a matrix was used as a plasticizer. The fibre volume fraction was kept constant at 0.2 whereas the pine rosin in SPI ranged from 5% to 30% of the matrix. The effects of pine rosin on mechanical, thermal, water sensitivity and surface morphology have been characterized using various techniques. The mechanical properties and water absorbency were found to be optimum for 15% pine rosin in Jute-SPI composite. Therefore, Jute-SPI composite without pine rosin and with 15% pine rosin were chosen for investigation through characterization by Fourier transforms infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Thermo-gravimetric analysis (TGA), X-Ray diffraction (XRD) and Scanning electron microscope (SEM). The surface morphology of the composite was influenced by pine rosin which is shown in the SEM image. TGA measurement showed that the thermal properties improved due to the addition of pine rosin. Antimicrobial test showed antimicrobial property in the composite occurring 15% pine rosin. The research paper concludes that the modification of SPI resin with an optimum percentage of pine rosin enhanced mechanical, thermal as well as water-resistant properties of jute fibre reinforced composites.

Spatial federated learning approach for the sentiment analysis of stock news stored on blockchain

        Nitin Nandkumar Sakhare,Imambi S. Shaik 대한공간정보학회 2024 Spatial Information Research Vol.32 No.1

Sentiment analysis can be a useful tool in predicting stock market trends, as it allows us to gauge the overall sentiment towards a particular stock or company. When combined with news stored in a blockchain, sentiment analysis can provide a more accurate and trustworthy representation of the market. The aim of this paper is to study the spatial news and external events which disrupt the stock market movement as well as news analytics techniques to understand the impact of news by spatial sentiments on stock market movement. For the prediction of stock market trading decisions, a novel ensemble technique consisting of spatial federation of deep learning algorithms, machine learning algorithms and dictionary based approach is proposed to maintain privacy and geographic diversity. These learning techniques are federated into fve groups and these groups are ranked as per the prediction accuracy of these models. A bit 1 or 0 is assigned for each federation thus creating a 5 bit pattern which can be used to predict stock market trading decision as strong buy, buy, hold, strong sell, sell.

Synthesis of Quinoxaline Derivatives at Room Temperature Using Magnetic Material Separated from Coal Fly Ash

        Dhokte, Aashish O.,Sakhare, Mahadeo A.,Lande, Machhindra K.,Arbad, Balasaheb R. Korean Chemical Society 2013 대한화학회지 Vol.57 No.1

An efficient synthesis of quinoxalines derivatives is described using magnetic material separated from coal fly ash. Coal fly ash is a waste material generated in huge amount by burning of coal for the generation of electricity in thermal power station. It contains $SiO_2$, $Al_2O_3$ and magnetic material in significant amounts, from which magnetic material was separated by using magnetic separation method. These separated magnetic material further characterized by XPS, XRD, EDS, FTIR, SEM, TEM and BET techniques. The merits of present method are mild reaction conditions, and also excellent yields and short reaction times.

Effect of Growell on Performance, Organ Weight and Serum Trace Element Profile of Broilers

        Kalorey, D.R.,Kurkure, N.V.,Sakhare, P.S.,Warke, Subhangi,Ali, Murtuza Asian Australasian Association of Animal Productio 2001 Animal Bioscience Vol.14 No.5

Effect of Growell a herbomineral premix was evaluated on performance, organ weight, humoral immune response, tissue and serum trace element profile of boilers. Day old 50 Babcock broiler chicks were randomly divided in two groups (C and T) and reared on deep litter system for 6 weeks of age. Chicks from group C were given basal diet while chicks from T group were fed basal diet supplemented with Growell at the rate 0.35 g/Kg. The chicks were vaccinated with Lasota strain of NCDV at $4^{th}$ and $28^{th}$ day of age. The birds receiving Growell treatment had higher body weight with better feed conversion ratio as compare to that of control chicks. Growell treatment had significantly reduced per cent weight of spleen and kidney, whereas that of bursa was increased. There was no effect of treatment on relative weight of thymus. HI antibody titer against NCDV in Growell treated chicks were higher as compare to untreated chicks indicating better humoral immune status. Growell treatment had no effect on serum Fe and Zn concentration. Dietary supplementation of Growell had significantly increased iron content of liver, kidney and muscle; zinc content of kidney and muscle; copper content of kidney and muscle and Mn content of kidney. Growell treatment improved the body weight, FCR and humoral immune status of broilers. Similarly, deposition of trace minerals in various organs was also increased in comparison to control.

SnO2nanoparticles-modified Polyaniline Films as Highly Selective, Sensitive, Reproducible and Stable Ammonia Sensors

        G.D. Khuspe,S.T. Navale,D.K. Bandgar,R.D. Sakhare,M.A. Chougule,V.B. Patil 대한금속·재료학회 2014 ELECTRONIC MATERIALS LETTERS Vol.10 No.1

Nanocomposites of polyaniline (PANi) and tin oxide (SnO2) were prepared by adding SnO2 nanoparticles (NPs) in different weight ratios (0% -50%) into the PANi matrix. X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) were used to form the polyaniline-SnO2 nanocomposites (PANi-SnO2) - a polymer-composite. PANi films modified with SnO2NPs were prepared by the spin coating method. The gas sensing properties of PANi, SnO2 and PANi-SnO2 polymercomposite films were observed and it was found that: • The response of PANi film to 100 ppm NH3 at room temperature was 30% (stability 58%). • The response of SnO2 film to 100 ppm NO2 was 19% (stability 79%) at operating temperature 200°C, which is higher than the room temperature. However, SnO2 exhibited no response to NO2 and NH3 at room temperature. • The properties of the polymer-composite as a gas sensor were studied for various reducing (CH3OH, C2H5OH, NH3, H2S) as well as oxidising (NO2 and Cl2) gases. We demonstrated that the PANi-SnO2 (50%) polymer-composite film offers high stability and reproducibility and is a superior sensor to toxic gases operating at room temperature. (Results showed that they are highly selective to NH3 along with maximum response -72% to 100 ppm, fast-response time of 167 s and better stability - 86% at room temperature. The unique nanostructure of this polymer composite with its high surface area offers these advantages.

Effect of Polyherbal Feed Supplement "Growell" during Induced Aflatoxicosis, Ochratoxicosis and Combined Mycotoxicoses in Broilers

        Kalorey, D.R.,Kurkure, N.V.,Ramgaonkar, J.S.,Sakhare, P.S.,Warke, Shubhangi,Nigot, N.K. Asian Australasian Association of Animal Productio 2005 Animal Bioscience Vol.18 No.3

An experiment was conducted to study the protective role of polyherbal feed supplement (Growell) during induced mycotoxicosis in broilers. A total of 240 Vencobb broilers were divided at day old stage into eight equal groups. Group A served as control and was given plain feed, group B, D, F and H were given Growell at 0.35 g/kg of feed. Group C, D, G and H were given dietary aflatoxin $B_1$ at 0.2 ppm and groups E, F, G and H were given ochratoxin A at 0.2 ppm in feed to study effect of Growell on individual aflatoxicosis, ochratoxicosis and combined mycotoxicosis of broilers. The chicks were given their respective feeds from 1st day to 6th week of age and were vaccinated at 7th and 28th day of age with Lasota strain of Newcastle disease virus. There was no statistically significant effect of mycotoxins individually or in combination on body weight of broilers. However, body weights were highest in group B and lowest in co-mycotoxicated group G. Feed conversion ratio was best in group B followed by A, D, F, E, H and G. Significant improvement in haemoglobin values was observed in broilers due to feeding of Growell in ochratoxin and co-mycotoxicated groups. There was no significant effect of mycotoxin treatment on PCV, TEC and TLC of broilers. Due to single and combined mycotoxicosis, there was reduction in serum total protein, albumin, cholesterol and triglyceride and rise in alkaline phosphatase, creatinine and uric acid levels. Supplementation of diets with Growell reduced the alterations induced due to mycotoxins. There was a significant rise in per cent organ weight of liver and reduction of that of spleen, bursa of Fabricius and thymus of broilers fed mycotoxins. Protection from alteration in per cent organ weight of these organ by supplementation of Growell was recorded. The observed impaired immune response and histopathological changes in liver, kidney, spleen, bursa of Fabricius and thymus of broilers given mycotoxins were protected by supplementation of Growell.
