        <P>Aluminum-doped gadolinium oxides GdAlO<I>x</I> are proposed as a blocking oxide layer in charge-trap-type flash memory cell devices. Greatly improved operation speed and charge retention properties have been demonstrated, compared to conventional Al<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB> blocking layer. The optimization of Al percentage in GdAlO<I>x</I>, as well as charge loss mechanism in the memory cell device, has also been systematically studied.</P>

      • Vibration characteristics of functionally graded carbon nanotube-reinforced composite double-beams in thermal environments

        This paper presents an investigation on the free vibration characteristics of functionally graded nanocomposite double-beams reinforced by single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs). The double-beams coupled by an interlayer spring, resting on the elastic foundation with a linear layer and shear layer, and is simply supported in thermal environments. The SWCNTs gradient distributed in the thickness direction of the beam forms different reinforcement patterns. The materials properties of the functionally graded carbon nanotube-reinforced composites (FG-CNTRC) are estimated by rule of mixture. The first order shear deformation theory and Euler-Lagrange variational principle are employed to derive the motion equations incorporating the thermal effects. The vibration characteristics under several patterns of reinforcement are presented and discussed. We conducted a series of studies aimed at revealing the effects of the spring stiffness, environment temperature, thickness ratios and carbon nanotube volume fraction on the nature frequency.

        Synthesis, Characterization and Property Studies on a Dinuclear Copper(II) Complex with Dipyridine Derivate and Acetylacetone

        A dinuclear copper(II) complex of [Cu_2(aceace)4(dipyph)] [aceace = acetylacetone, dipyph = 1,4-di(4-pyridylethene-2-yl-)benzene] has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and X-ray single crystal diffraction. It crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/c, with lattice parameters a = 7.9584(16) Å, b =18.594(4) Å, c = 15.063(4) Å, β = 120.97(2)^o and Mr = 807.85 (C_40H_44Cu_2N_2O_8), Z = 2. Each of the Cu^2+ ion adopts a square pyramid geometry and coordinates with four oxygen atoms from two aceace ligands and one nitrogen atom from dipyph bidentate ligand. Magnetic measurement shows that the Weiss constant and Curie constant for the title compound are ‒0.22 K and 0.1154 emu·K/mol, respectively. Thermal stability data indicate that the title complex undergoes two steps decomposition and the residue is Cu_2O_4. In the potential range of ‒1.5 ~ 0.8 V, the title complex represents an irreversible electrochemical process.

      • Interactomic study on interaction between lipid droplets and mitochondria.

        <P>An increasing body of evidence shows that the lipid droplet, a neutral lipid storage organelle, plays a role in lipid metabolism and energy homeostasis through its interaction with mitochondria. However, the cellular functions and molecular mechanisms of the interaction remain ambiguous. Here we present data from transmission electron microscopy, fluorescence imaging, and reconstitution assays, demonstrating that lipid droplets physically contact mitochondria in vivo and in vitro. Using a bimolecular fluorescence complementation assay in Saccharomyces cerevisiae, we generated an interactomic map of protein-protein contacts of lipid droplets with mitochondria and peroxisomes. The lipid droplet proteins Erg6 and Pet10 were found to be involved in 75% of the interactions detected. Interestingly, interactions between 3 pairs of lipid metabolic enzymes were detected. Collectively, these data demonstrate that lipid droplets make physical contacts with mitochondria and peroxisomes, and reveal specific molecular interactions that suggest active participation of lipid droplets in lipid metabolism in yeast.</P>

        CARBON DEPOSIT INCINERATION DURING ENGINE FLAMEOUT USING NON-THERMAL PLASMA INJECTION

        −In order to investigate the influence of initial regeneration temperatures on diesel particulate filter (DPF) regeneration, an experimental study of DPF regeneration was implemented using a dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) reactor, aided by exhaust waste heat after engine flameout. DPF trapping characteristics and carbon deposit mass were discussed to facilitate further data analysis and calculation. DPF regeneration was then investigated by comparison analysis of deposit removal mass, backpressure drop, and internal temperature change. The results revealed that a large amount of particulate matter (PM) was deposited in DPF with a high filtration efficiency of about 90 %. The deposit removal rate and percentage drop of the backpressure both maximized at the initial temperature of 100 oC. During DPF regeneration, the sharp rise of internal temperature indicated vigorous PM incineration and high CO2 emission. The results successfully demonstrated DPF regeneration using non-thermal plasma injection during engine flameout, and prominent heat durability was achieved in this method.

        공요 자기 문화재의 디지털화 보호 관리체계 구축 방안 -블록체인을 중심으로-

        도자 문화재 실물과 대응 관계를 이루는 문화재 정보 데이터(사진, 3D 모델 등)에서 블록체인 활용은 도자 문화재의 보존, 소유권 확인, 도난 방지, 감정, 손상 방지 등과 관련된 문제를 효과적으로 해결할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 블록체인 기술을 활용해 쓰촨(四川) 공요 자기 문화재의 디지털 아이덴티티 확립 및 보호 관리체계 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 통해 전통 도자 문화유산의 디지털 보호 관리 체계의 신뢰성 향상과 도자예술의 보존과 계승에 필요한 정보를 제공하고자 하였다. 연구방법으로는 석 · 박사학위논문, 정기간행물, 단행본, 인터넷사이트 검색 등을 바탕으로 문헌조사를 하였고, 블록체인 기술을 통해 공요 자기 문화재의 디지털 아이덴티티와 관리 시스템 구축을 하였다. 본 연구에서는 3D 스캔 기술을 통해 3D 모델을 만든 후에 초분광 카메라로 수집 및 분석을 진행하고 표면 재질과 무늬를 기록하였으며, 기초 서술 데이터를 완성하였다. 이를 통해 공요 자기 문화재의 블록체인 시스템을 구축하고, 도자 문화재의 디지털 아이덴티티 정보를 블록체인 시스템에 입력함으로써 대응관계를 형성하였다. 이와 같이 본 연구에서는 블록체인 기술을 통해 공요 자기 문화재의 디지털 아이덴티티와 관리 시스템을 구축함으로써 도자 문화재의 과학적인 디지털화 체계를 마련하였다. 본 연구에서 구축한 공요 자기 문화재의 디지털화 보호 관리 체계가 널리 활용되기 위해서는 블록체인 기술의 구조적인 문제점에 대한 지속적인 관심과 논의가 이루어져야 할 것이다. The use of blockchain in the cultural asset information data(photo, 3D model, etc.) of having a corresponding relationship with the real ceramic cultural assets can effectively solve the problems related to preservation, ownership confirmation, theft prevention, valuation, damage prevention and others in ceramic cultural assets. Accordingly, the purpose of this study was to suggest a method of a digital identity establishment & security management system in Gongyo(邛窑) ceramic cultural assets in Sichuan(四川) with the application of blockchain technology. Through this, the aim was to offer information necessary for improving reliability of the digital security management system in traditional ceramic cultural heritage and for preserving and succeeding to ceramic art. A research method was carried out a documentary survey based on master doctorate dissertations, periodic publications, book forms, Internet Site Search. The blockchain technology led to constructing the digital identity & management system in Gongyo(邛窑) ceramic cultural assets. This study was progressed the collection and analysis using a hyperspectral camera after making 3D model through 3D scan technology, was recorded the surface materials and patterns, and was completed the basic description data. This led to establishing the blockchain system of Gongyo(邛窑) ceramic cultural assets and to forming a corresponding relationship by inputting the digital identity information on ceramic cultural properties in blockchain system. In this way, this study built the digital identity & management system in Gongyo(邛窑) ceramic cultural assets through the blockchain technology, thereby having arranged the scientific digitalization system in ceramic cultural assets. To be widely used the digitalization security management system in Gongyo(邛窑) ceramic cultural assets that this study constructed, the continuous interest and discussion will need to be made about a structural problem of blockchain technology.

        사천(四川) 공요(邛窑) 자기의 디지털화 보호에 관한 연구

        정보기술이 널리 응용되면서 각국 디지털박물관 프로젝트가 잇따라 진행되면서 문화재 분야에서 ‘디지털화’, ‘정보화’ 열풍이 불고 있다. 문물(文物) 디지털화, 문서 디지털화 등이 박물관학, 예술학 등 학계의 연구핵심이 되면서 디지털 인문, 디지털 고고학, 디지털 관리 · 보호, 디지털 보존 등의 연구도 활발해지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 사천(四川) 공요(邛窑) 자기 디지털 보호를 위해 정밀도가 높고 반사광이 강한 도자기 유물의 스캔과 3D 재건 기술을 제시하였다. 이를 통해 전통문화 유산의 보호와 계승에 이바지하고, 도자예술의 디지털화에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 연구방법으로는 석 · 박사학위논문, 정기간행물, 단행본을 포함한 도서 · 출판물, 관련 인터넷사이트 검색 등 문헌조사를 바탕으로 하였고. 공요(邛窑) 자기의 디지털 보호 방법으로 3D 스캐닝으로 디지털 자료를 수집하고, 여러 가지 조명 환경을 조성한 다음 ICP 알고리즘을 통한 데이터를 처리하여 3D 모형을 만들고, 데이터베이스를 구축하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 사천(四川) 공요(邛窑) 자기의 디지털화 전략이 활성화되기 위해서는 정보 가시화를 활용하여 디지털화 공요(邛窑) 자기에 대한 정보 이해 및 인지 능력을 높이고, 데이터베이스로 공요(邛窑) 자기 정보 가시화의 설계방법에 대한 체계화가 요구된다. 또한 사천(四川) 공요(邛窑) 자기의 디지털화 사업의 연속성과 지속적인 발전을 위해서는 장기적인 계획 하에 지속적인 콘텐츠 개발이 이루어져야 할 것이다. 이와 더불어 다른 데이터베이스와의 통합을 위한 표준화와 3D시뮬레이션 영상 개발의 구체적인 계획이 필요하다. As information technology has widely been applied, digital museum projects are under way one after another in each country, and there is a craze for “digitization” and “informatization” in the area of cultural assets. The digitization of civilization and document digitization become critical research themes in academic circles including museology and science of arts, and a lot of research efforts are channeled into digital humanities, digital archeology, digital management/protection and digital preservation, etc. In this study, scanning and 3D reconstruction technique for ceramic relics that feature high precision and excellent light reflex were presented to ensure the protection of Sacheon Gongyo ceramics digitization. This study purports to make a contribution to the protection and transmission of cultural heritage and to provide some information on the digitization of ceramic arts. As for the research method, related literatures that included theses, dissertations, periodicals, books and publications were analyzed, and related Internet sites were retrieved. Regarding a way of digital protection for Gongyo ceramics, digital materials were collected by 3D scanning, and different lighting environments were prepared. And then a database was set up after the data were processed by ICP algorithm to make a 3D model. To accelerate the vitalization of the digitization strategy for Sacheon Gongyo ceramics presented in this study, information visualization should be used to improve people’s understanding and awareness of information on digitized Gongyo ceramics, and the systemization of design methods for information visualization for Gongyo ceramics through database is required. To guarantee the continuity and sustained development of a digitization project for Sacheon Gongyo ceramics, long-term plans should be drawn up to keep developing contents. Besides, standardization for integration with other databases and specific plans for the development of 3D simulation videos are both necessary.

        Three-dimensional Fe2O3–TiO2–graphene aerogel nanocomposites with enhanced adsorption and visible light-driven photocatalytic performance in the removal of RhB dyes

        A series of Fe2O3 and TiO2 co-doped graphene aerogel (Fe2O3–TiO2–GA) nanocomposites with a unique 3D architecture are assembled by a one-pot hydrothermal method combined with freeze-drying. The one with 30 wt% Fe2O3 exhibits the highest adsorptivity (95.0%) and the another with 25 wt% Fe2O3 displays the highest total efficiency (97.7%) including adsorption and visible light-driven photocatalytic degradation for rhodamine B dyes (20.0 mg L−1, 25 mL) within 1 h over 5.0 mg of the nanocomposites. The materials also display satisfactory cyclic stability and the removal efficiency can be 81.8% even after four runs. Additionally, a related photocatalytic mechanism is proposed.
