海雲合海濱의 平均海濱面 傾斜度에 關해 粒度分布, 波長 및 波形勾配를 求하고, 그 結果를 分析하여 海雲合海濱의 平衡狀態를 診斷하고 進行狀態를 推定하였다. The beach slope is shown to depend primarily on the size of the beach material, but also on the wave length, wave steepness. These variables are continually changing, particulary the wave dimension, the equilibrium profile of a beach is liable to change. And slope stability (profile stability) is dynamic equilibrium state, not a static one. In this report, author studied on the slope relation to chage of beach including material size, wavelength, wave steepness of the HAEUNDAE beach as a model case. With this results for the investigated values, author will predict the chage of HAEUNDAE beach profile.

Cells immnunoreactive for somatostatin(SOM) and glucagon(GLU) were investigated in postnatal day 0, 7, 14, 28, 90, 180 and adult canine pancreas using light microscopic immunohistochemistry. Pancreatic SOM-immunoreactive cells were found in pancreatic acini, pancreatic duct, and pancreatic islet gradually. Pancreatic SOM-immunoreactive cells were more located in pancreatic parenchyme than pancreatic islet throughout pancreas by postnatal day 28. But there was change by the postnatal 3 months : pancreatic SOM-immunoreactive cells were more located in pancreatic islet than acini and duct. It is suggested that the number of the SOM-immunoreactive cells may not increase with age apparently. A small number of SOM-immunoreactive cells that showed GLU-immunoreactivity were also observed in canine pancreatic islet. The physiologic consequences of these changes remain to be determined. These results sugegest that SOM in the developing pancreas may relate to the secretion of pancreatic hormones.

PURPOSE. The purpose of this study was to compare the linear sintering behavior of presintered zirconia blocks of various densities. The mechanical properties of the resulting sintered zirconia blocks were then analyzed. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Three experimental groups of dental zirconia blocks, with a different presintering density each, were designed in the present study. Kavo Everest(R). ZS blanks (Kavo, Biberach, Germany) were used as a control group. The experimental group blocks were fabricated from commercial yttria-stabilized tetragonal zirconia powder (KZ-3YF (SD) Type A, KCM. Corporation, Nagoya, Japan). The biaxial flexural strengths, microhardnesses, and microstructures of the sintered blocks were then investigated. The linear sintering shrinkages of blocks were calculated and compared. RESULTS. Despite their different presintered densities, the sintered blocks of the control and experimental groups showed similar mechanical properties. However, the sintered block had different linear sintering shrinkage rate depending on the density of the presintered block. As the density of the presintered block increased, the linear sintering shrinkage decreased. In the experimental blocks, the three sectioned pieces of each block showed the different linear shrinkage depending on the area. The tops of the experimental blocks showed the lowest linear sintering shrinkage, whereas the bottoms of the experimental blocks showed the highest linear sintering shrinkage. CONCLUSION. Within the limitations of this study, the density difference of the presintered zirconia block did not affect the mechanical properties of the sintered zirconia block, but affected the linear sintering shrinkage of the zirconia block.
Analysis of Removal Torque of Injection Molded Zirconia Implants; An Experimental Study on Beagles.

<P>This study compared the removal torque between injection molded zirconia implants and titanium implants with resorbable blast media (RBM) surfaces in beagle humeri. Fifteen screw-shaped implants were classified into 3 groups; titanium implant with RBM surface (Group RT), injection molded zirconia implant (Group Zr) and injection molded zirconia implant with sand-blasted surface (Group ZrS). Implants were inserted into beagle humeri. After 12 weeks, removal torque values were measured. The Zr group has a slightly higher removal torque value than the RT and ZrS groups but there were no significant differences among groups. Zirconia implants shows a similar removal torque to RBM titanium implants. This in vivo study showed injection molded zirconia implants could be an alternative to RBM titanium implants in terms of removal torque.</P>

'95년은 정보통신의 100여년의 역사중에서 가장 큰 변화와 변혁이 일어나 중요한 한 해였다. 정보통신부의 출범, 2015년까지 45조원이 투자되는 초고속 정보통신기반구축의 본격시행, 통신.방송용 위성으로 우리나라 최초의 무궁화위성 발사, 정보통신인의 염원으로서 10여년동안 제정을 추진해 온 정보화촉진기본법의 공포 등이 이루어졌다. 무엇보다도 중요한 것은 정보통신부의 출범으로서 21세기의 국가경쟁력 확보에 핵심이 되는 정보통신이 체신부, 과학기술처, 상공부 등 여러부처로 분산되어 추진해 오던 것을 종합적이며 체계적으로 추진하기 위해 정보통신부로 통합.일원화된 것이었다. 이에따라 정보통신부는 의욕적인 정보통신정책을 수립.시행하여 많은 분야에서 상당한 성과를 거두었지만 일부분야는 기대한 성과보다 다소 부진하는 등 아쉬운 점도 있었다. '95년 을해년을 보내면서 '95년도의 정보통신 추진 정책을 전반적으로 살펴 보고 정책추진 성과 및 반성해야 할 사항 등을 알아본다.
Hydroxyapatite Coating on TiO<sub>2</sub> Nanotube by Sol—Gel Method for Implant Applications

<P>The aim of this study was to determine the effect of hydroxyapatite (HA) coating on titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanotube by sol-gel process on viability of osteoblast like cell (MC3T3-E1) and bone formation in rat tibia. Specimens were divided into three groups including commercially pure titanium (control group), TiO2 nanotubes (group N), and HA coated TiO2 nanotubes (group HN). Surface characteristics were determined using field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM; S-4700, Hitachi, Japan) and contact angles were measured. Cell viability was investigated in vitro after 1 day, 3 days, and 7 days of incubation. Implants (2.0 mm in diameter and 5.0 mm in length) were inserted into the tibia of rats. After 4 weeks, histomorphometric analysis was performed. Both N and HN groups showed enhanced hydrophilicity compared to control group. After 7 days of implantation, group HN showed higher cell viability with marginal significance (0.05 < P < 0.1). Bone to implant contact (BIC) ratio in the control group, group N, and group HN were 32.5%, 33.1%, and 43.8%, respectively. Results of this study showed that HA coated TiO2 nanotube using sol-gel process could be used to enhance hydrophilicity and improve osseointegration of dental implant surface.</P>
